Cabinet that had to be removed and rebuilt.

We had a water heater die, but not before it leaked all over. It is interior and damaged the real wood cabinet which had to be rebuilt after the drywall behind was wet. Also, had plumber replace angle stops under ALL sinks. They missed tightening one! Another flood which went 5' into the new master carpet. Assure Pro cleaned it up, dried carpet and was responsive thru the entire process. Ben was really great to work with!!!

I'll start by saying that this water damage restoration team was excellent, practical, responsive, and very efficient. They helped me out in a tough situation when other companies let me down. This was the first water leak and insurance claim that I have had to deal with as a new home owner. When I found water leaking from the ceiling of my garage, soaking the ceiling and wall, I took the day off work to get this fixed. After looking up highly rated plumbers and water restoration companies on Yelp I had one team (not AssurePro) come out. They (not AssurePro) did not locate or repair the leak, gave a misdiagnosis of the leak source, recommend that turning off the water supply would not help, require testing for lead and asbestos (which were already outlawed in construction for the years when my home was built), and estimate that it would be one to two days more before they could even find and stop the water leaking or repair the damage, which was getting worse by the hour. Then I contacted AssurePro. They came out right away, correctly diagnosed the source from experience, and got their recommended plumber on-site shortly after, who located and patched the leak in less than an hour. The next morning, their crew arrived, removed the wet drywall and insulation, set up a plastic sheet containment enclosure, and started running a dehumidifier and fans to dry the wall. They worked with me and my insurance to make the claim filing and payment process very easy. Fortunately it was handled early enough that there was no mold. The rebuild looked even better than before with a fresh coat of paint. They also thoroughly cleaned up the garage floor. I trust AssurePro to handle any future water restoration projects and highly recommend them.

I can't rate Benson with enough stars! We found this in our bathroom. Benson immediately responded to my texts checking the photo and letting us know what we can do until he could come out and inspect it. Him and Jason came out the very next morning and eased our fears! He tested for leaks, tested the mold went under the house to ensure plumbing and told us how to handle it without having to pay an ungodly amount in construction and unnecessary costs! He wouldn't even let me pay for coming out! He is honest and has integrity! Trust Benson and his team he will give you the best and most honest experience!!!

The technician from the plumbing company they hired used a device that created a hole in a two-inch cast-iron pipe by accident. The result of that hole was Category 3 water leaking into our kitchen ceiling causing harm to our floor, walls, cabinets and lots of dry wall. Miren happened to be in the area working on another project, not related to this one, for our upstairs neighbor. He was there immediately to assess our situation. We signed an agreement for Miren and his team at All-Water based on recommendations and his reviews the next day. On Friday July 31st his team was at our home removing flooring, tearing out soiled drywall, installing dehumidifiers and fans to start the solution to the accident/our problem. I am writing this review on September 19th and our project is 100% finished. I am VERY particular when it comes to quality and communication. All-Water did not disappoint. Miren was at our home many times making sure his workers were on top of things. I want to give a special thank you to Caleb, Rah and Ethan. The workers always let me know what their agenda was that day and when they left, they let me know what time they were returning and what their plan was for the next day. They cleaned our house each day before departing. I highly recommend All-Water! When I called in a panic late at night, Miron, the owner, actually picked up immediately. He was right on time the next morning to provide a free estimate, and he took the time to thoroughly explain the process, answering all of our questions without making us feel rushed. His entire team we encountered was also wonderful: kind, respectful of our home, and genuinely helpful. Communication was solid throughout the project as well so we were never left guessing. It's worth noting that the estimate we received was slightly higher than some of the other quotes we looked at, but their prompt emergency service and professionalism felt well spent. While I hope we don't have another water leak in the future, I would certainly consider Miron and his team again!

I'm all about saving a buck but at the cost of MY premiums & integrity, no thanks. $300 for some friend plumber to create a fake report to send to insurances. INSANE. Never mind the absolute lack of care for your items when they pack them up. I had my succulent plants thrown in with all my jewelry & bathroom items. Absolutely could've and would've love to pack them up myself and put my plants outside if they listened to our request to not start on Friday and to reschedule to Monday. My partner & I were at work as their team entered my home by telling our roommate they were supposed to be there. Ask for an itemized invoice? Crickets. Try to talk about issues? Deflected to the other 3rd company parties they work with while in your house. I asked over and over for an invoice, gave my email multiple times, nothing. Just to get called 4 days before they decided to consider me late by their AR department. 17,000 in 4 days?! I asked for an estimate over & over to be told they don't do those they just bill your insurance, just to find out I signed some mysterious 20,000 estimate? Absolutely not, especially when they told me it would be around $8,000 if I paid myself and not go through insurance. He explained I was signing a promise to pay if my insurance doesn't cover and a 3 days before quit contract if I change my mind. * An honest company wouldn't remove or report their 1 star reviews for removal - there is a reason they don't want you to see what others are saying.

For almost 6 months of going back-and-forth with another company, We just couldn't get anything done. I needed a mold remediation company to help out our situation. I came across World Restoration and read so many wonderful reviews that I gave them a shot. It was by far the best experience. Keith was the main person I spoke with to set up a day for Jim to get out here and take a look at our situation. Keith also helped with giving us references for lead and Aspesos testing companies. He checked in on us so kindly to see if we had further questions. He was So friendly and helpful. Jim came out to our home and checked out the area that needed to get treated. He was also very friendly and explained everything they would need to do to get things done and completed. He was patient with me about all my questions. They were so patient with us as we needed to wait on some testing that we had to complete due to the year our home was built. Thankfully everything came out negative and the crew was scheduled to come out to our home. The crew that came with Jim were prompt, efficient and friendly. They really did a great job at taking care of the area to ensure the there were no leaks or mold growth behind our walls. Once the project was complete, I needed help finding a drywall company and Kieth referred me to a few. This company is so friendly and helpful and will explain to you what needs to be done, and will answer all your questions. They also have a great price! I strongly recommend World Restoration.

JUNE 4TH, 2026 NOTE: Detailed update about Restoration1's untrustworthy communication…read more Their public response below just proves my point. So, this is what to look out for, and the receipts to prove it: 1. TWIST FACTS/CHANGE NARRATIVE: - 6/1 "At no point did our team request that you provide materials..." - 5/21 "Please feel free to forward over the hygienist report and any other information necessary to help generate the remediation estimate." (They did indeed ask for materials but are now saying they didn't.) ___ 2. DEFLECT/IGNORE THE ISSUE RAISED -Dana "I've sent 3 emails to your 1 email..." -Janny "...if you are unwilling to provide results..." -Dana "I'm not unwilling. You just never asked. Why did it take this long to tell me that?" (My issue is their lack of communication, but she deflects to a story about me refusing asbestos testing, when in fact that conversation never happened.) ___ 3. DELAYED COMMUNICATION/NON-RESPONSIVE -- 5/21 Janny: "Please feel free to forward over the hygienist report...". --5/21 Dana:" They're attached, along with link to a few pics." (NO response) --5/27 Dana: "Please get it back to me...at your earliest opportunity." (NO response) --6/1 Dana: "Janny, are you getting my messages?" (NO response) --6/1 Dana (via Yelp): "...the lack of communication is very frustrating. It worries me that this is an indicator to what it's likely working with Restoration1." --6/4 Janny Yelp response "When you contacted our office approximately 1 week later" (2 weeks--not 1--and 5 emails/messages later, I finally get a response) ___ 4. CONTRADICT THEMSELVES --Janny: "You expressed to us on May 22nd that you did not want to proceed with testing" --Then her review says "Following the intial appointment [May 22nd] our office...left you a VM. Unfortunately we were unable to connect" (Here she says we talked, but her review contradicts her own statement) ___ 5. MISINFORMED, ARGUMENTATIVE, AND ACCUSATORY LANGUAGE --Misinformed/Accusatory: "You expressed to us that you didn't want to proceed with testing your property" --Accusatory/Argumentative: "If you are unwilling to provide results...we cannot proceed to assist any further" (Janny's tone is starkly different from most vendors'. They'd likely pose as a question--"Are you willing to" "I believe you expressed", --not an accusation.) Because of this, I'm changing my 2-star review to 1 star. But to be fair, this is just my experience. They do have great reviews, so you may have a better experience (if you decide to use them). Below is the original rating before this update: ____________________________________________________________ 6/3/2026 This is the email that I sent to Restoration1: "Hi Janny, I've sent 3 emails to your 1 email. And your 1 email was asking for materials I already provided. I was so impressed with your estimator's expertise and willingness to answer all of my questions that I likely wanted to use Restoration1, but the lack of communication is very frustrating. It worries me that this is an indicator to what it's likely working with Restoration1. The estimator came out May 21st. It's June 1st. Can you tell me what's going on with my estimate?" Their utter lack of follow-through was incredibly frustrating because I was super impressed with the estimator's professionalism, friendliness, and expertise. 1. The estimator came out May 27. 2. After a week I reached out. 2. Janny responded by asking for docs I already sent 3. I gave it to her again. 4. Then crickets... 6. I emailed a 3rd time for updates. No response. 7. I emailed again + messaged on Yelp 8. They finally responded saying I had refused asbestos testing, which they require. 9. I said I never refused because nobody informed me until 3 weeks in. So they asked for docs already provided (why ask for docs if asbestos was an issue?), did nothing for 3 weeks, said I refused asbestos testing, which wasn't true, and that I would've agreed to do the testing had I been informed, Janny's response was judgmental and rude. And the overall communication--or lack thereof--I received from Janny was misinformed, argumentative, accusatory, and rude. Had they told me about the asbestos testing requirement I would have complied. But, if my experience thus far was any indication of how it would be working with them, I decided to pass. I think I saved myself a lot of headache. Buyer beware.

My experience with Restoration 1 of Irvine during a water damage claim was extremely stressful, and…read moreI think other homeowners should understand what can happen in situations like this. Key facts from my project * Initial estimate tied to my work authorization: $16,653.79 * Invoices later submitted by the contractor ran this up to $50k+ * Those invoices were only for mitigation and demolition work * The entire reconstruction of the damaged areas of my home ultimately cost around $60k * A mechanic's lien was filed against my home during the dispute * I received zero phone calls with any management at the company throughout my engagement. All communication was initiated by me. After a plumbing leak at my home, Restoration 1 began mitigation work and had me sign a Work Authorization tied to the $16,653.79 estimate. Because this was my first insurance claim, I relied on them to guide the process and work with my insurance company. What I later realized is that I never signed a proper home improvement contract outlining the scope of work, pricing, payment terms, timeline, cancellation rights, or lien disclosures. The only document I signed was a Work Authorization. As the project progressed, the invoices escalated dramatically. By the end of the job, Restoration 1 of Irvine submitted invoices totaling $50k+. It's important to understand that this amount was only for demolition and drying work. The entire reconstruction of the damaged areas of my home ultimately cost around $60k, so the mitigation invoices alone were nearly the cost of rebuilding the damage itself. Their documentation states that if the scope of work changes, the homeowner will be notified before work continues. In practice, I was consulted on only two scope changes during the entire project. When my insurance company (State Farm) reviewed the invoices, they disputed a large portion of the charges as excessive. After months of review, the final amount paid ended up much closer to the original estimate than the $50k+ invoices that had been submitted. During the dispute I began receiving increasingly aggressive payment emails demanding payment directly from me, and Restoration 1 eventually filed a mechanic's lien against my home while the insurance review was still ongoing. For someone who has always paid their bills and maintains an 841 credit score, being treated like a delinquent customer was extremely frustrating. One thing I learned from this experience is that during insurance restoration work there can be a large difference between what a contractor bills and what insurance ultimately approves. If a homeowner pays the contractor first out of panic, recovering that difference from insurance can become the homeowner's responsibility. I'm sharing this experience so other homeowners dealing with water damage or insurance claims can make an informed decision before hiring this company.
