My first impression of this place is "ooo" I like the decor. We were seated at a nice table tucked in the corner with pillows! We ordered a pitcher of the white wine sangria which is a great deal for 2-3 people or even 4 people. $60. My friend and I both ordered the lobster deviled eggs which were delicious, however the star of that dish is truly the bacon. We also ordered the goat cheese caprese salad which was a bit off with portions- tons of tomatoes and goat cheese. Not much balsamic glaze and or basil. Recommend more balsamic glaze and basil to balance out the bites of tomatoes and cheese. We also ordered the shrimp pappardelle which looked great. The shrimp were large too. Sadly, the dish tasted bland with watery tomatoes. My friend agreed that the sauce was not flavorful. Another one of my friends ordered the chicken which she reported was not that tasty. The dominating flavor was pepper when I tried it. On the upside, the chocolate mousse was tasty and so was my friend's espresso martini. If I come back-- it'll be for D and D (drinks and dessert).

We had the most amazing experience here. The ambience, food, and service was incredible. I had the prime rib and many at the table had the hamburger. Absolute best food in Bethany!

I really wanted to like this place. I was excited to try it. Had dinner with two of my friends here. For an appetizer we got the goat cheese and tomatoes. There could have been more drizzle of balsamic vinegar but other than that it was good. We also got deviled eggs. Here is my problem I had with this place. Due to my many food allergies I had asked for two orders one with out the lobster and one with for my friends. Well the dish came out and it was LITERALLY ONE deviled egg with out the lobster on the same plate as the three others with it. When I saw this I was confused and hesitant to eat the one that has been on the same plate as the ones with lobster on it. I had asked for another order with out any lobster on it and not even on same plate. Our waiter was hesitant it seemed to ask the chef as he said there were issues to even just make the ONE for me on the plate. Luckily, the order with no lobster came out fine. But it was just odd how the waiter said the chef face him a hard time about a plate for some one with severe food allergies. My friends got a shrimp and pasta dish. They said it was ok. One of my friends said there was not much flavor to it. Now on to the drinks. My friends shared a sangria pitcher I tried it. It was good. I had a martini and it was good. Gizmo Cosmo Tito's Vodka, White Cranberry Juice, Cointreau, Fresh Lime Juice. This is what I had. And than for dessert I had a very tasty espresso martini. My friends had some cake. I would only come back here for drinks and dessert. Staff was friendly.

Each dish was excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The coconut cream pie was a standout dessert, and the seafood dishes were cooked perfectly. Atmosphere We sat at the back of the outside patio, which was pleasant in terms of seating and ambiance. However, the location had some drawbacks: The dumpster was directly behind us, and the smell carried into the dining area. Flies were present on the patio, and it seemed likely they were attracted by the dumpster rather than the breeze. 14 Global, the neighboring restaurant, had a cook who frequently exited the side door next to our table to smoke. The cigarette smoke drifted into our eating area, only 5-10 feet away. Overall Impression While the food was outstanding and the patio seating had potential, the environmental factors significantly detracted from the experience. The proximity to the dumpster and cigarette smoke made the meal less enjoyable. Recommendation I would not discourage anyone from visiting Patsy's -- the food is worth it. However, I would caution diners about the back patio seating, as the location near the dumpster and neighboring restaurant's smoking area can affect the overall dining experience.

Here is a breakdown of my two most recent experiences. During a solo outing with a friend, we arrived just before 4 PM to grab two coveted bar stools right as happy hour began, which now starts at 4 PM instead of 3 PM. I went with my usual two happy hour pepper creek punches and paired them with the happy hour fried chicken sandwich, adding a side of very good hand-cut fries for an extra $2. The portion was large enough that I brought half of the sandwich home for lunch. Bartender Trevor offered a sample of their malty nitro center of gravity english mild draft beer (4.5% ABV), and I loved the notes of toffee, chocolate, and toasted bread so much that I ended my dinner with two full glasses. Thanks to excellent service from bartenders Bill and Trevor, my solo total came out to a reasonable $36 before tip. On my next visit, I brought my family of four on a Wednesday around 6 PM. We were instantly accommodated at booth table 53 on the right side of the restaurant. They had recently updated their regular menu, and I decided to try the Korean beef bowl for $24, which features soy marinated sliced steak, vegetables, greens, an umami glaze, a fried egg, and spicy mayo served over basmati rice. Our server, Cate J., took wonderful care of us, and the total bill for the family was $152 excluding gratuity. Whether for happy hour or dinner, we will absolutely keep coming back.

We grabbed a smorgasbord of flavors and made the entire family happy. The Fried Chicken meal comes with famous Delaware chicken and some fun twists of Gochuchang sauce and honey butter rolls. The fried food traveled well and is expertly packaged. On their website, they advertise Beer Battered Shrimp - and by simply calling in, the manager was able to add an order to our meal! Simple entrees. Bold flavors. Definitely a place worth frequenting on your Bethany Beach vacations.

They answered all my questions when I was trying to decide what kind of martini I wanted. We also tried the burnt pork belly special, which was really good. I just wish there were a few more pieces that were actually "burnt" or crispy because that's what I was looking forward to. Still, I would definitely order it again! The food overall was amazing. They had TVs playing and a DJ, but it wasn't overly loud, so we could still comfortably talk and enjoy our meal. The atmosphere was fun and lively without being overwhelming. On our annual Bethany Beach vacation, we searched for the latest restaurant openings and Surfin' Betty's looked like a place worth trying... WOW- IT CERTAINLY IS!! The menu is mind numbingly good!!! We had such a hard time picking our meals because everything sounds amazing from the burgers to the fried chicken sandwiches to the wings to the hot dogs. The abundant toppings, the clever names, and the clear passion for food jumps off the page!!! Maybe it's called Surfin' Betty's because you will keep Surfin and Surfin through the menu on a tidal wave of salivation!!!! We did an online order for takeout. Modifications were simple and the entire ordering process was a breeze. The restaurant is down Garfield Pkwy inland, but only a few minutes from Bethany Beach. The parking lot is jam packed as a few good restaurants are all in the same plazas. But patience is a virtue and spots open up! FYI it's a good thing if a popular place is popular... just remember that! The food pickup was even simpler. Clearly tagged and bagged.. even with a Bag 1 of 2 to ensure that I grabbed both. The order had hand written notes on each container to even make handing it out so easy with an order for a large family. THIS FOOD was THE BEST that we ate all week at Bethany Beach!!! Unanimous decision from the entire family! Highlights - Jam Good Bacon Burger - with two smash patties crisped and greasy, a gooey bacon jam, and applewood bacon that was utter perfection, this burger is still in my dreams!!! Pittsburgh Dawg - my hometown represented 7 hours away, I had to order it! The beef link with creamy coleslaw and crispy French fries all held by a buttery Texas Toast - I hate to say it .... I'd eat Sweet Thai as a salad dressing or use it as a toothpaste - I loved it!! The restaurant itself was super well decorated too. After that, I ordered the Jam Good Bacon Burger with fries and the results were mediocre. To explain, the burger was overcooked and the meat was bland.
