Went for Mother's Day Brunch. We were sat very quickly and everything was wonderful. Our server was fantastic. She made great recommendations for us for appetizers. The shrimp and grits was delicious, the shrimp were perfectly cooked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even through the restaurant was crowded it wasn't overly noisy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'd definitely go back for special occasions or date night.
This review is tough because the food was a 5 star but the service was a 3 star. For the food side we had a steak flatbread and a burrata appetizer. Both were very good. The flatbread was outstanding, crispy crust and enough steak but not overwhelming. For dinner we had the pork chop and the chilliean sea bass. Both were excellent. The pork chop was tender and flavorful and the sea bass was cooked properly and very tasty. But the star. Was the potato side dish. It was excellent. But the service left a bit to be desired. Our water glasses were never refilled during the meal, a bottled beer was ordered and brought but no glass was offered. After all our plates and silverware were cleared away with the appetizers, they were not replaced until after our meals were brought over. This is one of those places where your waiter takes the order, somebody else does the water, and different people bring the food. Though this is very common in a lot of restaurants it was just a bit disjointed. I may be being a bit hard on the servers but compared to other restaurants in the chain the service was a step down. There were other good things though. The value is very good. The food is definitely not overly pricy for what you get. We will try the restaurant again, hoping we were there on what was just an off night for the servers.
The first time I went here I really enjoyed. This visit was just average. The food was ok, but not as good as our first visit. We liked the charcuterie board. We did not like the artichoke hummus dish. The butternut squash soup was average. The salmon was just ok. My husband had the steak & lobster and he did not enjoy. We ordered some drinks off the menu. He had an apple drink and I chose a tequila grapefruit. Both were very sweet with what seemed like no alcohol. The key lime pie dessert was good & nicely portioned. I might try again, but it will be a while.
[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place isn't too crowded for a weekend lunch, has a nice atmosphere, and wasn't too expensive for a nice meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They push their flatbreads, so we tried the pepperoni, and it was crunchy, tasty, and pretty feeling for a couple of people. A great appetizer to split for a party. He got the filet mignon which was juicy and tender, nicely accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus. I go I liked they have a lunch menu available on Saturday and got the steak tacos which included 3 tacos, avocado, and a green salad. Both entrees were decent on calories with a lot of flavor. I wanted dessert, but the flatbread was so filling, I had to decline. I do hope to come back and try those shooters because they have a lot of good flavor options.
Seasons 52 is always a fave for a fresh and healthy meal. Portions are hearty, but everything is fresh and healthy so you walk away without feeling stuffed. I almost always order the steak tacos, which come with three oversized tacos and a very generous amount of perfectly tender steak. The steak is topped with lots of fresh pico and cheese, and there's also a side salad. This dish is so good that I don't order much else, but they also have really good flatbreads. I have a location closer to home that I usually frequent, but for a nice meal at GSP you can't go wrong.
[[HIGHLIGHT]]I have been to a few Seasons 52 locations and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere and this place was no exception.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, I was here as part of a memorial service for someone and we had a private room where the Seasons 52 team served us appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts from a fixed menu. To start, the team was amazing. They had everything coordinated very well and they also handled the situation with the compassion and seriousness it deserved while also being friendly and caring. The food was also on point...the flatbreads were outstanding and I could have eaten just those, but they were followed by a tasty salad. It was so big, I couldn't finish it because I had to save room for my gnocchi, which was also great. Others got the salmon and believe me when I tell you everyone cleaned their plates. We were offered a selection of small, parfait-like desserts. I had something with peanut butter and chocolate which is always a win in my book. Considering the circumstances, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Kudos to the management, staff and kitchen team at this Seasons 52.
When I think of mall-tethered restaurants, something in me immediately decides not to expect much. But Seasons 52 surprised me. The restaurant is located in the Westfield Plaza mall, accessible both within the mall and through its own entrance outside the mall. We arrived through the latter and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was surprised to find a quiet, classy space that that if you were seated in one of the interior spaces as we were, you would never know you were actually inside a bustling mall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Besides the space, the menu is another happy surprise, promising seasonal fare and - best yet - ALL of their menu offerings are under 600 calories. For a foodie who regularly struggles to watch her calorie intake when dining out, this felt like a rare, restaurant-gifted ordering spree. My husband loved his Maui Tuna crunch salad, which certainly lived up to its name with all kinds of textures. He was especially impressed by the freshness and quality of the seared tuna. I decided to go with the soup and flatbread pairing, which proved to be another solid choice. Aside from wishing my chicken tortilla soup had a little more actual chicken, I had no complaints. Service is excellent. Our food was somehow prepared with the efficiency of a fast food restaurant and delivered by our server with the warmth and earnest attention of a fancier establishment.
Season 52 in Paramus - went for dinner and the place was pretty empty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside was really nice, clean, and the waitress was super friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was just ok. I had the lobster tail with shrimp skewers and rice pilaf... honestly, it gave me Red Lobster vibes, nothing special. I also ordered a drink but don't even remember the name because it was way too sweet. I do want to give this spot another shot, but I'm not in a rush to run back.
Decided to check out the hype of this establishment. Very nice staff and welcoming. The manager was sitting adjacent to me from the bar and never came over to see how I was doing or to just be nice. Opted for the lunch combo lobster bisque soup and 1/2 flatbread. The flat bread was great but the soup on the other hand was terrible. A bowl of cream with little or no lobster. Seasons 52, come on now and add a proper portion of lobster to the soup. Very sexy upscale decor and my waitress was great.
If you've been to a Seasons 52 in another state and thought it couldn't get any better, think again. After dining at this particular location, it will be hard to settle for any other--this one sets the bar so high that it might just ruin every future restaurant experience for you. From the moment we walked in, we were treated to impeccable service that raised the standard for hospitality. Neyda, the GM (who must have a PhD in charm and efficiency), and her team orchestrated an evening of seamless service that made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. And yes, they even handed us our coats at the end--talk about attention to detail! We arrived on a Sunday, knowing full well that parking at this bustling mall, but luckily, we had a reservation to keep us on track. Once inside, the ambiance was the perfect blend of classy sophistication and comfort, with lighting that was so perfectly set for a birthday celebration. I kicked off the evening with an Apple Bourbon Crisp cocktail, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight. Slightly sweet but never overbearing, with a crisp apple. Next up was the lobster bisque, and folks, this was lobster bisque elevated to an art form. The lobster pieces weren't just floating in the soup; it was the centerpiece, the crown jewel of the bowl. Each spoonful was rich, creamy, and decadently satisfying. For the entrée, I chose the Caramelized Grilled Sea Scallops with Mascarpone Risotto and mashed potatoes (a quick switch from the broccolini. The scallops were grilled to perfection, that delicate golden sear giving way to a tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture that was as close to culinary perfection as you can get. The risotto, with its creamy, luxurious finish, complemented the scallops perfectly, while the mashed potatoes added a comforting, homely touch that balanced the dish beautifully. A few others in our group opted for the Steak and Lobster Tail, and let me tell you, this was a feast. The portions were generous--none of that "small but fancy" nonsense. The lobster tail was tender and succulent, while the steak was cooked to a flawless medium preparation. The roasted marble potatoes added just the right amount of rustic charm to round out the meal. From start to finish, this was an unforgettable dining experience. I can't recommend this location enough. With world-class service, a thoughtfully curated menu, and an ambiance that can suit any special occasion, Seasons 52 has firmly earned a spot as one of my new favorites!
Remarkably average. This will be my 2nd time at this location. My first time was definitely better but this one felt so unremarkable i wanted to share. Service There was 8 of us, waitress went around the table taking orders and at the very end asked if she got everything. She didn't as she forget to get my order. Not huge but when you're trying to be this upscale fancy experience forgetting to take someone's order says a lot. But it gets worse. The drinks come out, and some other waiter comes with one red wine glass. This was the first drink to be delivered. We ask what wine it is, he says "red". Real specific guy, there is 8 of us and we all ordered wine. This guy could not tell us the name, the type or anything other than he has red wine for one of the 8 people at my table. What kind of service is that? Are the employees not trained or lack the sense to ask what wine they're running to a table? I've been in the restaurant industry for years and even I would think to least ask the type of wine this is I'm running to the table. When the food got here and I unravel my napkin, there are gross stains all over it. This is just unacceptable for any restaurant let alone the level this restaurant aims to be. The food was good. No complaints, the food doesn't have anything that sticks out as overly creative or to die for. I got the salmon and was pleased with it, my wife got a steak that wasn't bad but also I feel I've gotten way better elsewhere. Overall the staff needs to be trained better. There needs to be some level of standard when at this level of dining. These mistakes may have been overlooked for a chilis or ruby Tuesday but for this level these mistakes and short comings are exasperated.

I tried not to expect too much but surprisingly, I actually enjoyed the food here. The flat breads were very good and everybody liked it. The mushroom soup was nicely done as well and had generous portions for a cup. The appetizer that didnt really pass was the crab cake. It was not so much the taste but rather, it felt underwhelming. It probably was also because we expected two or three pieces of it to share but it just came in one piece and was served in such a big plate it looked lacking and sad. If we had been made aware it was only a piece and/or if it was served in an appropriate sized plate wherein it didnt look so mall in one dish perhaps it wouldve made some difference. But staff was good though and attended to us well. I enjoyed the Pork Chops as it had very nice flavor and had tender meat. Filet mignone was also good and the rest enjoyed their orders. Ambiance was a bit darker than what I wouldve preferred and since there wasnt a lot of people, it just seemed quiet and less lively. Not really a big deal but just thought id mention lol glad we gave it a try. read more

Our server, Christine was super. For her age, she was polite, helpful and didn't rush us. What question was asked of her she answered. The table ordered salads to start with. All the ingredients were fresh and the salad was cold. I had the salmon. I asked it to be well done, but it was burnt. I mentioned it to our server and she too noticed it. She offered to take it back but I declined. A few minutes later the manager came over. He said I was offered another platter but I refused. He did say they would still take care of me, which they did. My husband had the pork chop, which was delicious, as did our friend. His wife had the veal loin that was soft as butter. The ambiance was pleasant, since this restaurant is located in the mall. You were able to have a conversation and were not seated on top of one another read more
My husband and I dined here after doing some shopping and had a great meal. We didn't have a reservation but they have seating at the bar (and offer their full menu), so we opted to sit there. Our waitress was very friendly and service was prompt. We split the chicken pesto flatbread, which was super flavorful due to the pesto and garlic. It was a nice size for sharing as an appetizer. I ordered the salmon as my entree, which was cooked perfectly, and came with roasted potatoes and asparagus. We'll definitely keep this spot in mind the next time we're at the mall! read more
Stopped by Seasons 52 to have a quick bite at the bar. Service is always good there and food/drinks came quickly. I was happy to see some good fall options so I got a beer salad and the cauliflower cheddar soup. Both had a lot of flavor, and was perfect for fall. read more
My MIL loves Seasons 52, and now that I've dined there, I don't get it. Our party of 4 came by on a Friday night at around 5 for her birthday celebration. To start, we had: -Roasted mushroom flatbread - this was good. You can't really go wrong with flatbread at these types of places though. It's basically just like a pizza -Slow roasted meatballs - this was either overcooked, or they didn't have fatty meat in it because it was pretty dry -Lump crab cake - $15 for one is a robbery because it tasted like it was mostly breadcrumbs For my main, I had the wood-grilled shrimp and grits. This wasn't bad but I don't think it was worth it for $24. We also shared a side of the truffled risotto which was again, only okay. Just the way it looked, it didn't look very appetizing. It looked almost like a cold oatmeal. I was trying to see if we could order some kind of dessert and have a candle be presented with it for my MIL's birthday. But our waitress was nowhere to be found, so I went to the back area, where a bunch of servers were just slacking off. I asked if they could relay the message to my server, and they assured me they would and that they could bring a birthday dessert out. And of course they never did. So that was a little annoying. We ended up getting those little pudding cup desserts, all of which were too sweet. Seasons 52 seems like a higher end chain. And by higher end, I mean they charge more for food but it's still mediocre. I wouldn't come back here on my own and I think if my MIL wants to come here again, I'll have to try and help steer her in another direction. read more
With all the 4-5 star reviews, I'm wondering if my mom and I just had some bad luck, lol. This is a restaurant that I have been wanting to visit since it opened. Love trying out the newest restaurant in town. The ambiance was nice, and the wait wasn't too long at all. My mom and I ordered the: - Philly cheesteak flatbread - Slow-roasted meatballs - Wood-grilled shrimp and grits - Wood-grilled dry-rubbed pork chop (w/ scallops on the side) Needless to say, everything was good! Very well seasoned. We were happy. The reason why I am not giving this restaurant five stars is because of the service. Our waitress didn't seem very attentive. She forgot my scallops. She didn't come by our table to check on us to see if we needed anything. They sent someone else to bring us our food, and that person didn't clear the table of our finished appetizers. So we just had a bunch of plates at our table piling up. It wasn't until I called the manager over to let her know we weren't really happy with the kind of service, and the issue was fixed promptly. I feel like this is the kind of place I'd visit on a lunch break or for a quick bite (and I'd sit at the bar instead of a table). I do want to visit again to try out their other menu items, but I'll be at the bar next time! read more

A relaxing, large restaurant with a seasonal menu and is great for business lunch or lunch was friends. The service was attentive and efficient, the food was brought out hot and quickly. The ambiance is warm and comfortable with table, bar or booth seating. Three of us had soup pairing, one cauliflower, one lobster bisque, one butternut squash all served with small serving of flat bread pizza of your choice. I would have preferred the flatbread a little more crisp thus the 4 stars. Portion size was perfect, though I couldn't finish all mine but the other women did. A really nice spot for lunch or dinner. read more

This place is consistently good. My scallops were juicy and risotto was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. But, the service was a little slow. Ambiance is warm and inviting. This location apparently needs reservationists as they get busy Saturday evenings. But, you can get a high top table easily. Perfect way to end a shopping day. read more

4.5: Good service and food, and one of the best quality dining options at Garden State Plaza. If you didn't know you were in the mall, it could be easy to feel transported. This place was bustling on a Saturday evening. They have a good menu of Flatbreads, seafood, chicken, steak and pasta. We enjoyed the scallops with asparagus and risotto ($30), as well as the salmon and green beans and potatoes ($26). I liked that everything on the menu was under 600 calories too, though if you order something along with your main dish, you'll definitely go over! Service was pretty good and attentive. Parking is often a pain at the mall so leave yourself enough time to handle that and trek over. read more

About a month later, we came back to try other items. Shrimp and Grits were delicious, just the grits were very thin, almost soupy... Pork Chop was Amazing!!! It was a thick cut, but somehow it was super tender. Perfectly seasoned. The cabbage salad was perfectly matched. read more

Seasons 52 was a hit for my recent friends dinner get together! we tries the greatest l flatbread which was probably our favorite!! I enjoyed their calorie conscious dishes very much! Very cool idea to dine at a place where all dishes are low in calories yet flavorful. I had the Chilean sea bass which was great! Cooked to perfection with a light glaze drizzled over it. My friends had the scallops and sirloin. Both were good as well, however, the scallops had a grilled/charred taste. Overall a very cool place with indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely atmosphere and surprisingly large! read more

We came in for Fathers day. Great ambiance, friendly staff. Love the scallop, corn appetizer, tuna tartare but just too much avocado on the bottom in my opinion. Steak dish is not the best, salmon is great. Lamb dish is ordinary. Love how they brought their dessert display to your table and hard to decline. Ordered two dessert shot glasses and they were delicious and sooo affordable. Great drinks. Lovely time. read more
Really delicious and fresh dishes here at the Seasons 52 located inside the GSP mall. All of the dishes are under 600 calories which blows my mind because of how good the food is and the portions are very filling. Foods I got: pesto chicken and philly cheesteak flatbread: both amazing but the pesto chicken was my favorite. Filet Mignon: perfectly cooked and not tough AT ALL, could use some more salt though. Mash underneath was incredible along with the veggie side. Scallops: so so fresh and paired really well with the risotto underneath. Lamb Loin: Not a huge fan of lamb but this was the best lamb ive had. Was not tough and could tell quality was there. Blackened Fish tacos: couldve done without, fish was dry and tacos lacked flavor. def my least favorite Dessert: oreo & tiramisu: a lot of cream, wish it had more density and cake in it read more
Yet another Seasons 52 location , but when a chain keeps their food alive & kicking in every location it's a pleasure to walk in knowing you will find something for everyone Kevon our waiter was quick ,patient and attentive . This was a quick pit stop for lunch before our shopping run at the Westfield mall. Just a simple meal of soup and half flatbread was an easy meal but enjoyable. Their little dessert shots are the best . Makes you crave for more but limits you with the right quantity. I never miss a chance to dine a Seasons52. I had a great experience here! The ambiance of the restaurant is very relaxing and easy to hear your conversation. Excellent service - loved that the manager checked in to see how we were doing. And now for the food! So good! And I absolutely love that the value is great and they are not overpriced. Here's what I tried: French wine sampler - all 3 were good; I definitely recommend. Butternut squash soup - very good; love that it was thick and spiced well, and the shiitake mushrooms on top were a nice flavor compliment to the soup. It was a little sweet and could've used more acid, but I still really enjoyed it. Shrimp, mushroom, spinach appetizer was yummy - loved this combo of flavors. The shrimp were sweet and meaty, and the abundance of veggies always makes me happy. The filet mignon was fantastic! Perfectly cooked (rare for me) and so soft I could cut it with a fork. Roasted potatoes and broccolini were also cooked perfectly and nice and tender. (I despise under cooked veggies!) These were excellent. You must get dessert if you come here! Love this concept of little $3.50 shot glass sized desserts so you can enjoy a few bites, but don't break the calorie bank! Totally delicious - I tried the Caramel choc cheesecake one and the crumb cake. Yum! read more

I visit to this restaurant often and typically sit at the wine bar. Beautiful esthetics and the servers are very pleasant! The food is absolutely delicious! And the drinks are very tasty. Great for a date night, brunch or if you just need a little alone time to spoil yourself . Sharing and grits is my favorite food item to order. There are many other tasty options! read more

There are chain restaurants and then there is Seasons 52. This restaurant is too nice to be classified as a chain restaurant IMO. The food is not only delicious and healthy for the most part, but it is also elegantly presented and the atmosphere and ambience is amazing. It's like the exact opposite of an Applebee's or TGI Fridays. They only wish that they could serve the same food and service as Seasons 52. The first time I went to a Seasons 52 location was at the Bridgewater Commons location where they were serving Lobster Pappardelle and a glass of fine Malbec wine . The server even added on a free dessert after they asked me if it was my first time dining there. This is the platinum standard for all chain restaurants. If you're looking for a good place for dinner at a semi high price this is one of the best restaurants read more

Blood orange margarita - very tasty but also very sweet Crab and shrimp stuffed mushroom app - tasty but not mind blowing BBQ shrimp flatbread - DELICIOUS Lamb entree - Amazing. Get it. Crab polenta side - okay. Tuna crunch salad - good. Restaurant is located inside the mall but has an outside entrance from the parking lot. Good service. Huge wine list. Surprise, surprise, surprise...a restaurant chain that delivers! For the last decade, I had passed by numerous Seasons 52 restaurants all over the country and never really had the urge to walk in. To me, Seasons 52 was one of those mall-anchored restaurant chains that you can eat at anywhere that were a coin flip on good vs bad. Well, they finally opened a location at the Garden State Plaza mall and we decided to make reservations for a summer Saturday afternoon since it was relatively close. First, and foremost, even though there is a parking lot, it is shared with the mall, so be prepared to compete with the mall patrons (and there are PLENTY of them) for a close parking spot. We brought our 2 little kids with us and the one thing we look for when we dine is spacing and this location was reallllllly spacious inside so it was perfect! The decor was very classy, but not overly upscale. By no means do you have to dress up here, but, for dinner, maybe clean it up just a bit I guess? I did notice someone wearing a basketball jersey during lunch. Anyhow, service. It was solid throughout our meal, HOWEVER...and a big HOWEVER, after we were seated, we were literally forgotten about for 20 minutes. Not a single waiter came by until I went to the front and inquired about it. I don't attribute this to anything more than a one off situation, but it definitely wasn't the best start. The rest of our meal experience...thankfully fantastic. We loved the diversity of the menu and selections. As we anticipated, it was a bit on the pricey side, but it was expected here. As for most American grill and seafood restaurant chains, there was a bit of something for everyone - flatbreads, salads, seafood, steaks, chicken, pasta. It wasn't a massive menu, but enough for sure. And if you come here for lunch, they also offer a lunch menu with less expensive items. We ended up ordering a few things to try: Starter - Lump Crab and Shrimp-Stuffed Mushrooms Entree - Brick Oven-Roast Chilean Sea Bass Entree - Filet Mignon and Maine Lobster Tail Side - Street Corn Skillet Side - Truffled Risotto Let me keep it simple. We LOVEDDDD the food. My wife thought some of it was a bit salty, but I felt everything was perfect. My favorites were the Sea Bass and Truffled Risotto, but the Street Corn was also superb. The Filet Mignon and Lobster were also good. but we wouldn't expect anything less. The Truffled Risotto was so addictive I could have eaten an entree of it! But it'll do as a side. My wife's favorite was probably the Street Corn. In addition to the really good food and solid service, we were also celebrating a special occasion and the restaurant made sure to recognize it by treating us to some dessert! It was a great end to a great meal. All in all not much to criticize about (except for the waiting snafu at the start). Definitely a solid winner here and super happy that they finally opened a location at the mall. read more

Newly opened restaurant in GSP. Nice decor and very friendly staff. We had cheese flat bread, scallops, sea bass and cannoli. Scallops and sea bass are pretty good. Not the appetizer or the dessert. But overall good place for dining! read more
Fantastic new spot of a dependable chain. I've been waiting for an outpost nearby and I'm glad they opened up this location in Paramus. The restaurant is brand new so we expected some hiccups. Generally speaking the experience as great from a food and ambiance POV. The quality of the food is top-notch and the prices are extremely reasonable. It's understandable why the restaurant is very popular in that respect. The wine flight was great and well priced. The trout was fresh and the pork chops were a revelation. The filet and lobster was also fabulous. Great flavor and fantastic presentation was the key for all the dishes. I also liked the relaxed but still classy vibe of the restaurant as a whole. What was not great was the service. Our server seemed confused and overwhelmed and took an incredibly long time to respond or take care of requests (such as water etc). She was very friendly but clearly seemed to be out of sync with what was going on and handling the general customer volume. That being said, this is absolutely a great addition to the area. Their food is as good as expected and I'm looking forward to going back sooner than later. read more
