As the main course I took the slow cooked salmon (always excellent) with a spinach and lentil base. Desert which was 3 brownie bite with pieces of chocolate brittle. The Perfect ending. Dinner. It is a very nice seafood place. Ambiance is high-endy. I sat at the bar. Started with a Bombay Saphire dry martini with blue cheese stuffed olives on the side. I ordered from the happy hour menu which looked like a super deal. PEI mussels and a shrimp Fra Diavalo $49. Service was excellent. Every barkeep, three, were extremely simpatico. Andres prepared my martini's he was great. The mussels were clean, plump and tasty and served with many accouterments. It could have been my whole meal I ate the extras sparingly. The Fra diavolo came shortly thereafter. It was quite good and there were at least 30 small shrimp in there. No other seafood. One thing I always notice if the shells are removed from the tails of the shrimp. I have only been in 2 places that actually did that. They did that here. So the bartender informed me he had received 2 weeks notice and they were closing . Unfortunately I can see why for the times and their prices , their food although nicely prepared was lacking that extra which will make me forget paying more and be a repeat customer. They had oyster specials on the door I went at opening then saying none to be had . My husband was curious about the Encore Hotel and suggested that we visit and have dinner at one of their restaurants. After considering the various options, we selected Seamark. Seamark opened up in 2024. Chef Michael Schlow, a James Beard Foundation Award winner for the Northeast in 2000, was hired by the Carver Hospitality Group to lead Seamark. We were there for at 5 p.m. on a Monday for an early dinner and were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was prompt in taking our drink orders. I chose to try a mocktail called "New Fashion". It was okay, if on the bitter side. My husband got a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. While I was tempted to order their lobster roll, I figured I had already eaten lobster twice that week. So, I decided to order the "Mediterranean Branzino". This consists of: "artichokes, confit, fennel, roasted tomato, zucchini, capers, lemon". I did enjoy this dish. Not only was it attractively presented but the branzino was perfectly prepared: crispy skin and a moist and tender filet. The veggies were all properly roasted and quite flavorful. My husband ordered "Seared Scallops" which consist of: "wild mushrooms, peas, pearl onions, cauliflower puree, truffle. He, too, enjoyed his dish and said everything was properly prepared. My wife and I had a mini date night and decided to check out Seamark Seafood & Cocktails, and I'm really glad we did. The first impression was a little rocky, the hostess didn't seem thrilled to seat us, but we didn't let that set the mood. The rest of the experience completely made up for it. We had a chance to dine here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The place is nice and clean, not too fancy. Our server was attentive and we were checked on by the manager during our meal. Went for dollar oysters and they were so good. Very tasty and fresh, and no limit on how many you can order. There was even a card with facts about the oyster too. It happened to be restaurant week which we ordered the salmon avacado, the crunchy toppings and the creamy avacado enhanced the dish. Heard about their oyster hour through a friend who works at encore, $1 oysters Monday to Thursday 5-7! We made reservations for a Tuesday evening. There may have been a miscommunication on the reservation/ they didn't ask, but we got seated by the hostess in the dinner area. We waited a very long time before our waitress acknowledged us, all the servers were going about their day ignoring us, we were about to call them out, but she finally gave us some attention. When we mentioned we were here for oysters, her face dropped and she left to get her manager. After a while they made us move tables to another area of the restaurant that was a lot more casual. Service right here for what's supposed to be white tablecloth service was a 1/5. It was slow, dismissive and not friendly. Thankfully on the other side, our service was nicer. They were busy due to the oyster hour but we finally got our oysters. Due to the lack of service we decided to leave after our oysters. After Radius closed in the Financial district, I missed the Schlow burger until I found out that Seamark had it. Last month, I went to try out the Schlow burger and it definitely didn't disappoint! The burger came with cheddar cheese and crispy onions with a horseradish-black pepper sauce. Yummy! The fried clams were very good too. The dark chocolate cake was also wonderful. Located in The Encore Boston Harbor - Came down to dinner on Saturday night with a large group and although there was a little misunderstanding in the beginning, things were eventually resolved. We didn't have the oyster deal but I do think it was really fresh and great. (I saw other reviews after eating here) We ordered two of everything since we had a large party. The shrimp was fresh and truly jumbo and my kids liked it. Tuna tartare is a must, it was light and fresh. As for the spaghetti, careful because there is a kick to it just in case you're not into that. My favorite were probably the appetizers and dessert - namely the crème brûlée. We had a horrible meal at Seamark. The server was attentive at first and slowed to almost ignoring us as the meal was served. We were at Seamark for our holiday dinner with my parents. My dad has dementia and so it takes a little longer to get his order figured out but nothing extremely time consuming. We started with drinks and the focaccia bread and trio of spreads. I really enjoyed all 3 of them. My mom had the tempura shrimp. It was more like a very lightly breaded bang bang shrimp. She did not like it at all. I ordered the fish and chips and it was disgusting. If you eat fish and chips in New England it comes with typically dill tartar sauce and fries. My fish breading was not good. It had a very sandy/grainy texture. Idk if it was the fish or the tartar sauce that had a curry flavor, but it was like I was at an Indian restaurant. No where did it tell me it was going to be a curried fish and chips. My husband got a filet and it was over and undercooked. The edges were almost well done and the center was raw. The entire time we had our food no one came by to see if we needed anything or to refill drinks. By the time I got the check we were pretty upset for the lack of service and unacceptable food. I looked at the check and saw my Aperol spritz and it was charged ridiculously. It was $18 for the Aperol then an additional $3 (could've been $5 but I don't remember exactly) for the spritz!! Ummm what? How can you have 2 charges for one drink?! I can say I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I liked my lunch at the shake shack at the casino much more. read more

We came here for my friend birthday. This restaurant is located inside encore in Boston, which offer free self parking in their garage. As soon as we entered we were greeted by friendly staff and our party was immediately seated. The interior of this restaurant is decorated very nicely and I love how the lights are dimmed down. Our server was a lovely lady that quickly explained the menu to us. The only thing I did not like was how small the menu was, there were not a lot of options and the majority was seafood. I decided to opt for the half a dozen oysters and the side of the spicy crab fried rice. Four of my friends decided to go for the burger and fries while my other friend ordered the seafood spaghetti. The food came out pretty quickly. The oysters tasted very fresh the only thing I would say is that they were kinda small. The spicy crab fried rice was very tasty but I could taste the salt a lot but overall I enjoyed it. My friend said the burger did not have much taste but the fries were seasoned good. I regret to share that our recent experience at this restaurant was both disappointing and disheartening, especially as we were celebrating a special occasion and had previously enjoyed multiple pleasant visits. We arrived for our 8:15 PM reservation at 8:09 PM. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, we were asked to wait until exactly 8:15 PM to be seated--an unnecessarily rigid approach that set an unwelcoming tone. Once seated, we ordered drinks and appetizers. Unfortunately, the sodas came in small glass bottles and were served at room temperature. We requested additional ice, but that took a while to arrive. From the beginning, our server was largely inattentive and disengaged. We noticed she checked in frequently with surrounding tables, while our own was overlooked for extended periods. Based on this contrast in attentiveness, we couldn't help but feel that we were being treated differently. This left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. When we asked for a description of a particular dish, the only response we received was, "It's cold," with no further explanation. After finally placing our entrée orders, we waited over 45 minutes with no follow-up. We had to flag down our server to cancel the entrées and request the check for the items we had already received. At that point, the manager approached us and stated the entrées had "just come out," yet the food told a different story. The scallop dish was room temperature, and the fries that came with the lobster rolls were cold. Rather than apologize meaningfully or offer a resolution, the manager's response was curt and dismissive. He said he could pack the food to go and added, "You can take them or not." The interaction lacked professionalism and courtesy. To make matters more awkward, the manager then gave my friend a pat on the back and said "sorry," which felt uncomfortable and insincere rather than empathetic or appropriate. We were told that a dessert would be sent out as a gesture of goodwill, but it never arrived before we decided to leave. Ironically, the best part of the meal was the focaccia bread at the beginning--fresh and well-prepared--though the accompanying hummus was oddly hard and unappetizing. Overall, this experience was far below the standard we had come to expect from this establishment. Between the poor service, cold food, and the feeling of being treated differently, it was an upsetting way to spend a special evening. As someone with many years as a bartender who really enjoys craft cocktail, I have to say this cocktail was very will balanced. And considering valet parking is free if you have a play card. The sauce on the fish was maybe our favorite part of the meal, but truly all three courses were perfection. We also had the steak tartare, which was good but not unbelievable--needed a little more salt, and the bread could have been crispier. We had the seasonal Jungle Cruise cocktail, which is basically a Jungle Bird, and it was pretty solid but not particularly unique. First time trying Seamark with some friends and was a great experience. Drinks were excellent and strong. Expect to pay more as this place is inside the Encore casino. I already had dinner previously so only had room for the lobster bisque. It had very intense shellfish broth flavor which I really liked. The soup itself was actually filling to me and hit the spot. The little chunks of lobster added to the flavor and the temperature was just the right. The energy of place was definitely on the high end as it was dinner time on a Friday night. Went with one other person for dinner on a Saturday night. Ordered a salad and the mushroom "truffle" gnocchi. Salad ingredients were very fresh and had good flavor overall. Gnocchi was very poor. Mushrooms were rubbery. Sauce was very heavy and overly salted. Clearly not using real truffles but, rather, a very artificial and chemical-y "truffle oil." Kept burping the entire night which would bring up the fake truffle flavor which was very unappetizing. For any price, this would be unpleasant but at $34, it's an outrage. Service was solid in the beginning though it seemed like, after it became clear we weren't spending a ton (no drinks or dessert), our table was largely forgotten. Ambiance was okay. You do have privacy since they're at least not trying to cram in a bunch of tables. I then ordered the center cut filet mignon, medium rare, which was outstanding. it came with baby string beans, and the best potato purée that I've ever had.
