A group of 4 of us visited Bow Market on a Saturday afternoon and wanted some drinks. We first got a round of drinks whilst at the patio seating in the middle of the market. You order through a link provided by a QR code and they will deliver the drinks to your table. Afterwards, we wanted a second round of drinks and visited the actual bar. It's a huge space with both indoor and outdoor seating. I do not recall now which of the drinks we got but we got a variety of cocktails with different flavor profiles and all of them were super great. I would definitely go back!

Lovely little cozy nook ;) on the second floor of Bow Market (side note you're able to bring your cocktails downstairs to the open patio area if you prefer!) with all the ambience! Cozy little water vapor fire place, on point mid century decor and a rotating cocktail menu to boot. The first time I came here I felt that the cocktails weren't anything to be blown away by but now, a year later with the autumn menu in full swing I take it back! It is a small space so it's definitely more difficult to have a larger group (more than 4), but fantastic for smaller groups. They have a small bites menu as well but you're also welcome to grab food from the multitude of food vendors at Bow. Friendly and tentative service!

two glasses of alcohol on a table - A clear glass of water and a green cocktail in a martini glass are positioned on a wooden table, each resting on patterned coasters. The background shows a cozy indoor environment with people sitting and engaging, suggesting a social dining or drinking setting.

Located upstairs in Bow Market, Nook is a great little cocktail bar with really cozy decor/ambiance and a diverse menu of drinks. Service was pretty quick and the server came around occasionally throughout the night to ensure we were satisfied which was a nice experience. The seating situation isn't particularly plentiful, but we were lucky enough to snag a table as some folks were leaving in the corner of one of the booths. The drink variety they had was very nice and reasonably priced - I would gladly get anything they have listed the next time I'm in the area. If you're in the mood for some post dinner drinks, Nook is definitely a strong contender near Union Square. Looking forward to returning one day in the future when I'm in the area again!

Cocktails - A round wooden table displays several cocktails, including a pink drink with a lemon peel garnish, a yellowish drink with ice, and a clear drink with lime and a straw. A glass bottle and a small vase with dried flowers are also on the table. The setting appears to be a bar or lounge area with people seated around, and the table is decorated with patterned coasters.

Great drinks, cute seating. They switch up their menu every so often too. You can also take your drinks outside in bow market too when the weather is nice. Order at the counter.

a close up of two people holding cocktails - Two people are holding three cocktails in front of a bar counter. The drinks include a green cocktail with a cucumber garnish, a brown cocktail with a leaf garnish, and an orange-colored drink with a straw. The background shows various bottles and bar equipment, indicating a bar setting.

Nook is tucked away in Bow Market and the amount of times Ive missed it makes me feel ashamed. But I'm glad my coworker recommended them. Nook has very thoughtful and unique cocktails (Ricotta infused gin?! Where have you seen that?) The flavors in each cocktail are subtle but they come through gently and makes you really think about what you just drank. The space is cozy and very intimate. The lighting is moody and romantic. I love the semi mid-modern decor. The bar tenders are super friendly but also give you space if you sit at the bar.

Smokey delight - A transparent glass with vertical ridges contains a light-colored, clear liquid and a large ice cube. The glass is placed on a wooden table with a patterned coaster underneath. The background shows the wooden surface extending beyond the glass, with no additional objects visible.

The menu here is incredible, the space is adorable. The service is very friendly but a little confusing whether you order first then sit, sit and then order, a rhythm that allows for a lot of catching up. I'll definitely be back, hugely appreciate all of the details and offerings.

The image shows a printed menu page with a list of cocktails, including 'Mars-capone Attacks!' and 'M.O.G.U.E.R.A.', each with descriptions and prices. The menu features illustrations of a wine glass and a cocktail glass in red ink. The page includes a note about food allergies and is placed on a dark surface, possibly inside a restaurant or bar setting.

Delicious drinks! Really high quality composition and unique combos. I loved the movie theme and fun vibes. Bartenders were friendly and so enjoyable to chat with- very knowledgeable!

Supposedly Showgirl, although it looks like the Nene

Ordered drinks to our table outside - waiter stated one drink was Fairmount Flip when we ordered a Permanent Vacation. He went to check and then brought back the same drink which was correct but was mistakenly given the wrong name. Also ordered a Showgirl and wasn't sure if it was correct. Checked pictures and it seemed to match the Nene. Bartender says the Nene is "more pink" and the garnishes in the picture on the menu is just to "make it pretty" (even though they had mint in another drink in my party) and that they served it in a different glass for outside serving even though someone in my party had a martini glass. Overpriced for this kind of service and only ok specialty cocktails

Great ambiance. Everyone liked their drinks. I got the Arizona tea and it was delicious, didn't taste like alcohol at all. The chips and salsa were so good it was a mango salsa and the chips were perfectly salty. I would recommend.

Plantasia - A tall, clear glass filled with a light-colored, creamy beverage is placed on a black bar counter. The drink is garnished with pink orchids and has a black straw inserted. In the background, there are blurred bottles of alcohol illuminated with blue and pink lighting, along with a person wearing a plaid shirt sitting at the bar. The setting appears to be a bar or cocktail lounge.

This cozy new cocktail bar off of the Bow Market balcony features a very creative drink menu and a few snack options from various of their Bow Market neighbors. Really like all of the drinks there that I've tried so far. The Plantasia was a vacation in a glass.

It was hard to choose one, but I got the A Perfect Circle and it was quite tasty. I'm eager to try some of their other drinks, since the cocktails were definitely the highlight of the experience for me. The dim sum portions were larger than I expected, which meant we ordered way too much food. We had the fried chicken, the cucumber salad, the shrimp, the pork wontons, the soy sauce noodles, the daikon/enoki dish (I forget the name) and the charred broccoli. There wasn't anything I didn't like, but I did find that the flavor profile seemed very similar for many of the items--it seemed like most things were topped with a generous portion of chili oil, scallions, and sesame seeds. I found that this contributed to a fairly uniform flavor experience and was getting a little weary of chili oil after several dishes. The food was also spicier than I anticipated (though to be fair, I have a low spice tolerance, so others might disagree.) I would have enjoyed some less spicy options to balance out our meal. Overall, all the food was good, though, but I think if I come back I'd get fewer items (3-4 would have been plenty for 2 people) and that might also help with everything blurring together. The service was great and our waitstaff was helpful and attentive.

The bartender was great, he was so patient even with how busy it was making sure to always check up. For food, the Goi Ca/Fluke was so good. It was flavorful and the texture. The peanut butter sauce wasn't too nutty and went so well with the fish. I ate every little piece up. We also ordered the Wagyu Viet Carpaccio which was also good. Not a fan of the layout of the restaurant. I don't like the long table in the center for parties of 2, it felt a bit awkward to be so close to other groups and there were large vases of fresh flowers which, albeit were very beautiful, I think should have been moved after parties are seated. Towards the end my boyfriend noticed there was a Monday night rib special--which we were bummed because this was why we came here since they won first place at Rib Fest. We ordered quickly after perusing the (rather short) menu, most of which was either small plates and cocktails . Our first plate was the hainan chicken arancini. I really liked the contrast in textures between the crispy exterior and the tender chicken and rice mix on the inside. Overall flavour was not bad, too, but I'm not sure that it was exactly good enough to merit the price point of $18. Next was the Xi'an street noodles, which was probably my favourite dish of the meal. The noodles were very well cooked - chewy but not too soft - and I loved the sauce, with the gentle peanut aroma on top of the various spices they used. One comment was that the chilli crisp, which was tasty, was very lacking (in amount) and as a consequence the dish was really not spicy at all. Finally we had the chilli crisp buffalo chicken. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chicken was boneless (I was expecting something more like chicken wings), which made for very clean eating :) The buffalo sauce was nice (and perhaps a bit spicier than the aforementioned chilli crisp) and the chicken itself was very rich and juicy. Portion size was quite large too and overall I was very happy with this plate. For drinks we ordered the Jaded, which was a fun matcha-themed cocktail (even the marshmallow was matcha-flavoured) and a (spirit-free) cranberry limeade, which was surprisingly refreshing and sweet. Overall a yummy meal, but definitely very expensive. I would be interested to try some more of their cocktails, which seem very creative, but I'm not sure if I would be keen to come again primarily for the food. (To be fair, though, this is often the modus operandi of these restaurants that specialise in small plates and drinks )

To drink, I got a coffee. The coffee was fine - not amazing but not bad either. The omelet was just okay - it could have used some more salt. A little bland. I did love the home fries - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and very well seasoned. The toast tasted like grocery store bread, so that was a little disappointing for the price. So to sum up: on the positive side, ambiance and service were great. Home fries were delicious. Portions were generous. On the meh side, omelette and bread were bland (plus they were no longer hot by the time they came out, so that was strange). The only really bad thing I have to say is that they served my mom sour milk for her coffee, but they were very apologetic and gifted us blueberry muffins to make up for it, so I won't hold it against them.

The one star is solely for the cocktails and the excellent service from the bartender. We started with the Hazlet Rye sourdough, which was dense and dry. It was surprising that they thought this was acceptable to serve. For the four courses we had the Hamachi crudo and kohlrabi salad, leek cannelloni, silken tofu and local lobster, and for dessert panna cotta and chocolate torte. The kohlrabi salad was the only bright spot -- it was at least fresh and tasted okay. The hamachi crudo had almost no flavor. The leek cannelloni was overwhelmingly bitter, it was supposed to be a burnt onion miso sauce that tasted totaaly burnt. The silken tofu was literally a large block of tofu with broth poured over it, with no real texture or flavor. The lobster dish was heavy and overly rich. The hollandaise and lobster pie on the side did not balance each other and the overall dish felt dense. Dessert was equally disappointing. The chocolate torte was not a torte but a slice of dry, mediocre cake. A grocery store cake would have been better. The panna cotta was essentially whipped cream and lacked the texture that panna cotta should have. On a positive note, the cocktails were very good. We had the Timepiece and One Tricky Pony and both were excellent. The non alcoholic Automat Spritz was also well done. The bartender provided great service and was the highlight of the night. This restaurant has good reviews and we were super excited to try it. Maybe the Valentine's Day menu was an off night and the regular menu is better. However, at this price point the lack of flavor and cohesion is hard to overlook. There are many better options in this range and we likely won't be back.
