So I was in desperate need of Flipflops. Target, Cabelas, Ross, Khols, and Marshall's could not help me (unless I wanted to spend $50+ at cabelas for fancy men's sandals), and as a last act of desperation I wandered into Rack Room. To my surprise they had a fair selection of women's size 12 sandals, but nothing simple and cheap for a water park. An employee by the name of Justin stopped to ask if I needed assistance and after I, albeit in a foul mood at this point, mentioned my issue he hussled about the store to find everything that would fit. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman when she goes shopping with Richard Gere's credit card. Justin was kind and incredibly helpful, far more than the "sorry, have you tried shopping online?" that I kept getting everywhere else. If Justin's representative of the management/training style of the rest of the staff here, I'd highly recommend this shop for affordability, (options for us Peggy Hills), and good customer service.

I was immediately greeted when I went in, and the employee asked if I wanted something specific. Yes, baby shoes. He starts by asking me about size. In this case, size doesn't matter so much (the only time I've ever said that! Lol) as the design. He asks the standard questions, directs me to the section of baby shoes, while telling me about their current sale. I showed him a pic of what I had in mind. I really want pink and white baby DC shoes. They didn't have that, but had Converse shoes in pink. Again, not what I was aiming for. Their girl shoe section isn't spectacular, unless you want girly, glittery, bubblegum pink and blues. Even though they didn't have what I wanted, both employees really tried to help me. I appreciated that, and that customer service is what would bring me back in the future to check out their selection. I'd definitely come back, and will probably end up looking for shoes for my husband as well. Review 2 of 2017.

I've also never been very sporty/athletic, but I LOVE to walk and hike, and I value good shoes and being able to get them fitted by someone who knows what they're doing, so I always buy my athletic shoes at running stores despite feeling out of place when I go into them (my own issues, I know!) ANYWAY. My experience here couldn't have been better. The person who helped me was knowledgable and encouraged me to try several different brands of shoes, then special-ordered a pair since they didn't have my specific size in stock. When I went to pick them up, Dustin very kindly looked at the fit and told me they were probably too small, but said I could try them for 30 days. After about a week of wearing them, I realized he was right, and so they exchanged them for me in the next size up, no questions asked. I'm so grateful they have this policy, so grateful for their friendly, non-judgemental, and helpful staff. I love their inclusive "running is for everyone" motto, too.
