    Lunch Bento Box with chicken
    Tiffany E.

I have been coming here since 2015! I love this place and even became friends with the owner at that time. The staff is always pleasant, quick seating and never a long wait on food. My favorite go-to is a Lunch Bento Box. You can't beat the price and it's a variety of different things. My absolute favorite is the Tiffany Roll (hence my name is ), a deep fried sushi that's not oily and still fresh. The atmosphere is zen, casual. Enjoy a glass of wine and some amazing Sushi. Thank you for always providing the best service and the complimentary saki once in a blue!

Great ambiance. Food is made timely. Very yummy. Menu has a lot of options. Service is attentive. Will be coming back!

Good fresh sushi! Service was great, the Bento Box is worth it for the price during lunch special. Had the pork katsu, which was nice and crispy but a bit dry in the middle, thatd my only complaint sbout this place. The sushi tasted very fresh however and the pork katsu sauce and miso soup were very good as well. Would recommend!

Delicious, well-priced, and fresh sushi! My go-to sushi spot in the area!!! Good for both take out and dine-in, but I'd recommend dining in since they serve you quite fast - highly recommend if you're in the mood for sushi :)

Beef teriyaki bento box. Comes with free saki and miso soup. Excellent.

I go to this place all the time with a good friend of mine. The bento box lunch is a steal at 12 bucks and comes with free saki and miso soup. Can't beat it. I love sitting by the fish tank. The service is friendly and the food never disappoints.

#I like these sushi places in Greenpoint that give you free unlimited hot sake. That's why #I came here. I ordered the #Sashimi Regular with Miso Soup. And after I was taking photos, I noticed there was rice. This isn't Sashimi! I asked the waitress if she brought me the wrong order. She said she thought I ordered the #Sushi Regular. In my mind, I flipped out and pretty much wanted to kill myself. I realized I already put my filthy baby on the food, so I ate it. And I demanded another #free carafe of sake, even though I wasn't finished with my current one. In the end, it wasn't the #end of the world like I thought. But it was weird that I did want to kill myself in that quick sudden moment. I'm assuming it's like a conflict of #self-identity or just not getting what you want when you think it should be easy ...therefore, the mental conflict. An interesting experience and lesson. #Five stars for not killing myself.

Hana-Awaka * Sparkling Flower Sake...don't let that pretty dainty bottle fool you...DELICIOUSNESS!!!

I love this cozy little restaurant!!! The food and service are excellent. I've been here several times before for lunch but this will be my first time reviewing it. So here goes...do they have the friendliest waitstaff EVER??? OMG THEY ARE BETTER CHEERLEADERS THAN THE DALLAS COWBOYS GIRLS!!!! Today I ordered sushi a la carte Ebi, Unagi and Lobster Tail Tempura with Sake "Hana- Awaka *Sparkling Flower" and an appetizer of Kani Salad. The salad was okay and honestly I've had better but it was good enough. But let me tell you about that sweet sparkling Sake that almost had me on the floor...because I was leaning after having only half the bottle (maybe 6 small shot glasses of it)...it was DELIGHTFULLY AMAZING!!! I will be ordering that Sake again anywhere I go that serves Japanese Sake! It's now written in my personal law and constitution foodie book. Okay onto the sushi...can you say massive?! Yeah I know what I ordered may have seemed pretty basic and may even have looked basic but it was all about portion and flavor!! There was love put into my sushi honey no doubt about it!! I thought I could eat it all but The a la carte was so gigantic (to me) that I could barely finish it all I had to have the rest wrapped up to-go. Yep, I'm going back whenever I'm in Green Point Brooklyn again.

Outdoor seating was perfect for weekend sushi! Staff is super sweet and they do offer both indoor and outdoor. We got a boat and was extremely impressed with the quality and size. Will definitely be coming back

The menu is pretty diverse with various appetizers, sushi, and also ramen/curry so your standard izakaya fare. One of my favorite dishes here has been the chirashi. The fish was very fresh and it's pretty affordable. I've only ever been here in groups of two and I probably would recommend it for smaller groups because the space itself is small and most of the tables are two-seaters if I recall correctly.

It's been open for a few years, so clearly it has a good enough formula to keep the neighborhood happy. I have been here once before, but returned last week after dining several meals at Tomoni in Jackson Heights. Apparently, the owners are friends. Nonetheless, I needed to make the comparison. After my first few bites of their Tora Don and Chirashi Don, it was clear that this restaurant has the better quality seafood. Each slice of sashimi had vibrant colors, clean taste, and the proper texture. Tomoni is not bad, but fall slightly short of this caliber. With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.

He ordered the Honey roasted duck ramen and I ordered the spicy salmon miso ramen. Before our ramen came out, we ordered our drinks which were a Thai Iced Tea (can't go wrong with that) and he ordered the Lychee Iced Tea. For apps we had the Veggie Spring Rolls and the Edamame which were so crunchy with just the right touch of salt. We may have visited on a slower day since it was raining, but I can tell that it is a popular eatery and can get busy and packed. We lucked out and were seated immediately and didn't wait long for our food. The server kept refilling our water glasses which was much appreciated. I thought my cup was half full and i'd look up and all of a sudden theres even more water poured. Overall it was a cute restaurant and would be perfect for a lunch. Although we had ramen, they have an extensive menu. Check them out!

I don't know how to describe it quite, beyond that everyone at the table agreed the food was delicious to the point of being nutricious to the soul. Overall, I'd strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting a delicious and hearty meal at a bargain - a drink, entree with sides (during happy hour), and split appetizer with a generous tip amounted to just $46. We got the katsu don, yakiniku don, and chicken katsu curry. We shared and they all had unique, amazing flavor. They were even able to accomodate my friend's request that the chicken katsu be made with dark meat! The service was fantastic. The cocktails were incredibly balanced and a real treat with the meal. The ambiance is clean, classy, and calming. It is certainly worth the trip!!

Also one of the BEST broths I have had in New York. It is comparable to some in Japan with how good that beef broth is. The chicken broth is excellent as well and worked since my friend has a dietary restriction. Sadly could not try the karaage since they sold out! Get it if you can. Food (5/5): probably some of the best ramen you can get in Brooklyn! You take a sip and it has so much rich flavor you can tell they took a long time to cook it. Just the right amount of salt that leads to explosive umami flavor with everything else included. Only downside is that the egg is an additional 2-3 dollars boosting the ramen price to 20 per bowl. Other than that, it's a great bowl of ramen I will be going again. I heard the steak was good from my friends but we got the okanomiyaki, it's pretty big, delicious, but only get it if you are a large fan of them. It's pretty pricey for what it is. Cucumber salad was delicious and fresh, nice hit of spiciness. Service (4.5/5): The person helping us is super nice, though there is a language barrier and that might cause some misunderstandings. I only brought it down half a point because you aren't going to get that understanding but they are very nice and try their best. Nothing wrong but it does get busy and you might have to call them for refills or other issues. The chefs are also very friendly. Cleanliness and interior (5/5): you can tell it's rather small, but modern and chic. Great for a night out to eat as they are open late. Great casual dinner spot and has a fantastic Lofi jazzy playlist that adds to it. Combined with the unforgettable beef broth, and you have a night to remember. J's Parking Advice- it's pretty packed at night because there is a lot to do around. Parking garages are a little far off too but everything is walkable once you find a spot. There is a street parking but it's hard to find, you might have to park far and walk there or public transport. We did take around 10-20 mins to find parking. So good luck! Overall: it's a spot I have to go back to especially since they sold out of the karaage! If that doesn't tell you how good it is not sure what else! Definitely a local favorite and a hidden gem
