This is my go to Ramen spot. I love it. And it's the perfect cold day for some Ramen. Service is always great. Glass of water is always full. My favorite Ramen spot!

Above average ramen spot in a bustling area of Greenpoint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No frills seating and strong menu of about 6-7 different ramen options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The spicy miso was perfect (not too spicy at all), had a delicate balance, and the texture of the ramen was great. Service was attentive, they were great about refilling our water regularly. Prices are about average, maybe slightly on the high end at around $20 per bowl of ramen.

What can I say? The Ramen Spot hit the spot! Came here for a quick early dinner with another family and was able to grab a long table to fit 7 people. We ordered the shrimp tempura and kaarage to share for the table and both were delicious. Just a side note: the shrimp tempura is more like rock shrimp and it's also coated with a spicy mayo sauce. We didn't know and it was a tad too spicy for the youngest kid in our group, but the big kids enjoyed it and so did the adults. Most of us ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and it was very good. The broth was nice and thick without feeling fatty and very flavorful. The noodles was firm and bouncy, not overcooked. It comes with toppings included with the price so that's nice since a lot of places like to charge a la carte per toppings now. The char su was excellent, flavorful and melt in your mouth. The only disappointment was the soft boiled egg. It was flavorless but the yolk was soft and gooey. Such a shame. The staff was friendly and service was good. We had to ask her to leave out certain ingredients for the kids order and everything came out correct. We all enjoyed our meal and left with a happy full belly.

The vegan ramen is terrific. Really tasty, oily broth. Not every ramen place has a great broth that isn't pork-based but this place does. I like it. Affordable, easy to get a table, clean, hosted by a nice staff, quality ramen.

Food: 4/5 Ordered ramen for delivery and I was very skeptical. I generally dislike ordering noodle soup for takeout because I always think it tastes best AT the location but Ramen Spot didn't disappoint. We ordered the spicy miso and the chicken paitan. The spicy miso tasted exactly how it sounds. The noodles were a bit thicker and the spice definitely packed a punch. The chicken paitan was light and full of flavor. The noodles were thin and chewy. Might be my go to spot for delivery. The packaging is solid, absolutely no spillage. Highly recommended!

I love this place of their roasted corn. Its very good in ramen and the gyoza is light and crisp. Service is so friendly nd theyre so nice, feeling loved. Single bathroom.

Delicious food, Pork gyoza and chicken karaage were incredible. food came so fast too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe here is also great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is one of the places that you have to eat in and not get delivered. everyone was so nice.

One of the best ramens I've had in a while, broth was rich and delicious. The service was great and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance was warm and casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't wait to return!

Unfortunately I was surprisingly disappointed with the ramen here. I'm not usually too picky about my ramen but I wasn't a fan of the noodles that came with the tonkatsu (vs the more standard ramen noodles that came with the shoyu) and the cha-su (despite them giving 2 thick slices per ramen bowl) was dry and flavorless. The soft boiled egg also disappiinted as it had no flavor (vs good ramen places will have a soy sauce marinade). The only positives I can say are that both the tonkatsu and shoyu broths were pretty tasty and the service was good but beyond that, would pass on coming here again for ramen. For $16/bowl, I'd expect more.

It's quite busy but the turnover rate is quick. The restaurant is small but has a good amount of tables and counter seating. But I've got to say I am disappointed by my overall experience based on how popular this spot is. You order from a menu you can write on, which allows you to customize your ramen selections (noodle thickness, broth, add-ons, etc). I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with spicy added. While the broth is pretty good, I think the overall ramen is a bit lacking compared to other ramen spots. I did not realize the ramen did not come with any ingredients besides the chashu meat and some scallions sprinkled on top. So this spot really requires you to customize and add on toppings. Usually other ramen spots already have selection of toppings in each type of bowl. So overall, my ramen was pretty standard and nothing outstanding. I do appreciate that you can add half or full serving of extra noodles for $1-2 if you want more. Also, like others mentioned, Ramen Danbo received a C health code rating. I didn't see this until halfway through my meal, but I probably would not have ate here if I saw it beforehand. Quite appalling for a restaurant that doesn't even have an extensive menu. Overall, the service is okay... I can't say I had any particular issues BUT I just felt like all the servers gave off the vibe that they just hated their jobs or something. It was just the vibe I got but it could just be me.

An absolute gem in South Park Slope!…read more We happened to be staying at a friend's place a few blocks away and was looking for something open on the later side with great food. We searched Yelp and came across Konoba Yakitori, and it absolutely hit the spot. My daughter and I loved our entire experience--everything from the food to the local neighborhood vibe to the incredibly friendly, attentive staff. Everything we ordered was fresh, cooked to perfection, and reasonably priced. We had the gyoza, edamame, Hamachi Lover, Ebi Shu Mai, and the $15 Beef Set (three beef skewers), accompanied by hot tea and Ramune. The beef skewers were a highlight--tender meat with seasoning that was spot-on. Warm, welcoming, prompt, and super efficient. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, and our waiter was extremely helpful in guiding us through the menu. Top-tier service all around. The space is small and cozy with a simple, comfortable design. Seating is a bit tight and close to neighboring tables, but there's nothing wrong with being snug, rght? It gets busy, but customers tend to eat quickly, so even without reservations, the wait moves well. Most importantly, despite it being a intimate spot, we never felt rushed at all. It's simple, which is what makes it amazing. An incredible restaurant all around--I love this place and can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

First: got combo B which was the perfect amount for 2 people since it included an appetizer, 2 ramens, 2 desserts and 2 drinks. Left very filled and happy. Would highly recommend their lemonade and Thai tea! The popcorn chicken is more batter than chicken, so it's good if you like more of a crunch. The tonkotsu and miso ramens were good, but not particularly notable. Kyuramen is a chain after all, so the food quality gives that same vibe as comforting when you're just craving some. Second: Got the yakitori platter, beef ramen (seasonal) and curry ramen and I'd personally pass on all of them. Their meats are over cooked which makes them tough. Both times the service was fine, I appreciate the call button so both don't have to wait for awkward timing issues. I do like the aesthetic of the place, especially with the privacy of the room shades/dividers. p.s. don't forget their slurp and win program! When you drink all the broth, there's a word on the bottom (or not) where you can get a free popcorn chicken/drink/etc for your next visit. I thought the chances would be pretty slim, but I got a drink voucher my second time!

The first time I tried it, the flavors were fine, but nothing really stood out enough to write home about. This time around, I ordered takeout, and overall I was genuinely impressed. The noodles were cooked perfectly, with just the right texture. Both the tonkotsu and the miso broths were rich, flavorful, and had a satisfying kick of spice. The pork slices were tender and tasty, and I really didn't have any complaints about the bowl as a whole. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's the best ramen in all of New York City, but it was definitely better than average and very enjoyable. The price felt fair for the quality and portion size, and I left feeling like it was money well spent. It's absolutely worth stopping in if you're in the area. Also, don't skip the boba from the shop next door. It's surprisingly good and makes for a great addition to your meal. Definitely give it a try.

Overall, there wasn't anything special about the steamed dumplings. Iron Men (3/5): I was disappointed since reviewers said that the broth would be very rich but it did not have much flavor to me even after using their house chili sauce (+$2). I definitely tasted the Iberian pork undertones but overall, I thought it was watery and didn't have much flavor without the chili. The poached egg was perfect. The rosemary oil was very subtle (cool presentation as it was provided in a dropper!) The noodles were perfect--chewy and bouncy. I thought the 2 slices of pork were thin but tender, also more lean and not fatty (not as ideal so did not melt in your mouth). Expensive for a bowl with little meat ($23). I did not use the miso paste as I did not love the aftertaste, which admittedly could be why the broth lacked flavor to me! Nagoya Miso Katsu-Don (N/A): I tried a little of the dish. I thought the pork was very crunchy and had a great taste. Boyfriend said the dish was nothing special.
