Another good place for pick up or delivery order. The price is just ok, I didn't find exactly I want but I still give them a try anyway. My own opinion, if you are in a mood for cheap sushi and not super picky with the quality, Ikura Sushi is a good choice for takeout and delivery. Quality of fish is so so but you understand you get what you pay for.

COVID/pandemic era review: Solid but underwhelming sushi. Got the maki roll special F with spicy tuna, spicy salmon, shrimp tempura. Solid, nothing special but gets the job done. The mushed up spicy sushi was alright. The prices are much cheaper to competitors though. Solid sushi, good prices.

Ikura was great. Make sure you check in on yelp to get a free serving of edamame. I got the salmon teriyaki bento box. It was good. Jasmine bubble tea was delish. Came here with a party of 8, and they were super accommodating. Establishment is clean, and food is served promptly. Don't have any complaints really. Almost feels like a fast food place but healthier. I will certainly be back if I am in the area. Also - prices cannot be beat!

Place is amazing for the price and quality I opened a barbershop not to far from here and this is my go to spot for lunch fresh clean and the staff over the phone are super nice even the delivery guys !!!!

Special Philadelphia Roll

Yummy place just around the corner. Simple sushi that hits the spot. Go to rolls attached. K.O Spécial Philadelphia and red dragon

Piece of glass / plastic found in roll served with Salmon Lover combo.

My bf and I used to LOVE Ikura. It was always our go-to take out place and felt it was good quality for the price point, and delivery was always crazy fast. I'm giving them a 1 Star and never ordering from them again as my boyfriend found this shard of glass (or maybe some hard plastic?) in a roll this evening. It's sad because we loved this place, but it doesn't feel safe now.

All flavorless. Even the rice was bad

It's been open for a few years, so clearly it has a good enough formula to keep the neighborhood happy. I have been here once before, but returned last week after dining several meals at Tomoni in Jackson Heights. Apparently, the owners are friends. Nonetheless, I needed to make the comparison. After my first few bites of their Tora Don and Chirashi Don, it was clear that this restaurant has the better quality seafood. Each slice of sashimi had vibrant colors, clean taste, and the proper texture. Tomoni is not bad, but fall slightly short of this caliber. With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.

He ordered the Honey roasted duck ramen and I ordered the spicy salmon miso ramen. Before our ramen came out, we ordered our drinks which were a Thai Iced Tea (can't go wrong with that) and he ordered the Lychee Iced Tea. For apps we had the Veggie Spring Rolls and the Edamame which were so crunchy with just the right touch of salt. We may have visited on a slower day since it was raining, but I can tell that it is a popular eatery and can get busy and packed. We lucked out and were seated immediately and didn't wait long for our food. The server kept refilling our water glasses which was much appreciated. I thought my cup was half full and i'd look up and all of a sudden theres even more water poured. Overall it was a cute restaurant and would be perfect for a lunch. Although we had ramen, they have an extensive menu. Check them out!

The fatty pork belly pairs excellently with the shoyu brother. The vegetable toppings give a light, refreshing contrast to the oily pork belly. Overall, loved this spot! Soft Japanese music played in the background, creating a calm, relaxing setting. They started us off with hot tea while we looked over the morning menu. Breakfast keeps things simple with a single set meal where you choose your fish, select how many vegetable sides you want, and add optional extras. Our cook was friendly and skilled at the counter. Our set included roasted cod, white rice, miso soup, tamagoyaki, tsukemono, and seasoned vegetables. Every single item tasted fresh and well-balanced. Between the quiet setting and the quality of the cooking, it was a standout morning.

It's nonfussy, and although not the cheapest sushi, it's definitely not super expensive/omakase level. It's a small space with a giant bar for seating and maybe a few tables - the owners are definitely passionate about Japanese cuisine and you can definitely feel that as you chat with them a bit. The menu is small, but dedicated to quality, and you will make your choice quite quickly. All the fish was fresh, large pieces, and really really clean tasting. The soup was delightful and paired wonderfully and everything was presented quite nicely. The grilled fish was also tasty and really tender.

RAMEN: all the broths are either beef based, chicken based or vegetarian (no pork based broth)…read more Depending on what you order, they offer a variety of noodles--wavy or thin. All the ramens were pretty good. The serving size of noodles is perfect, just enough to be filling. - If you want a creamier broth that you might get from a pork broth, I'd recommend the miso (mix of mushroom broth and oat milk). - The niboshi is pretty tolerable spice. The spicy fish oil gives you a kick at the back of your throat, so not really a broth for sipping before mixing it. The pork belly is less fatty than what I prefer but the broth was plenty flavor. It comes with just bean sprouts, scallions and bonito flakes. If you want more toppings, an egg is $3. SEATING / AMBIANCE: 6 tables - 3 two-seat tables and 3 four-seat tables, and a row of high tops. It's a fairly small place, but when we went when they first opened during lunch time, it was completely empty so walk in was not an issue. Quiet with RNB playing.

TLDR: 5/5! For excellent service and great food. We came in last minute with a group of 8 and they…read morestill accommodated us and served us to their best abilities despite only 1 person on the floor to wait and serve. Also one of the BEST broths I have had in New York. It is comparable to some in Japan with how good that beef broth is. The chicken broth is excellent as well and worked since my friend has a dietary restriction. Sadly could not try the karaage since they sold out! Get it if you can. Food (5/5): probably some of the best ramen you can get in Brooklyn! You take a sip and it has so much rich flavor you can tell they took a long time to cook it. Just the right amount of salt that leads to explosive umami flavor with everything else included. Only downside is that the egg is an additional 2-3 dollars boosting the ramen price to 20 per bowl. Other than that, it's a great bowl of ramen I will be going again. I heard the steak was good from my friends but we got the okanomiyaki, it's pretty big, delicious, but only get it if you are a large fan of them. It's pretty pricey for what it is. Cucumber salad was delicious and fresh, nice hit of spiciness. Service (4.5/5): The person helping us is super nice, though there is a language barrier and that might cause some misunderstandings. I only brought it down half a point because you aren't going to get that understanding but they are very nice and try their best. Nothing wrong but it does get busy and you might have to call them for refills or other issues. The chefs are also very friendly. Cleanliness and interior (5/5): you can tell it's rather small, but modern and chic. Great for a night out to eat as they are open late. Great casual dinner spot and has a fantastic Lofi jazzy playlist that adds to it. Combined with the unforgettable beef broth, and you have a night to remember. J's Parking Advice- it's pretty packed at night because there is a lot to do around. Parking garages are a little far off too but everything is walkable once you find a spot. There is a street parking but it's hard to find, you might have to park far and walk there or public transport. We did take around 10-20 mins to find parking. So good luck! Overall: it's a spot I have to go back to especially since they sold out of the karaage! If that doesn't tell you how good it is not sure what else! Definitely a local favorite and a hidden gem
