I have been to SER on 3 occasions but needed to take pause this time to highlight: Desiree, our server for the evening, and the DFW Restaurant Weeks menu. Desiree was warm, personable, and knowledgeable of the menu for being so new! The 3-course menu for $60 is a real treat, you can't go wrong with the filet but the hiking was great also. I loved the passion fruit strawberry tart - it gave me elegant pop-tart feels. Oh! And did I mention the sunset?

Came here for a Happy Hour with my team and it would definitely be described as a mixed experience! It opens at 5pm and the elevator does not take you to that floor until then ! But it's not that spectacular with a view of some freeways ! Service began really, really slow - we waited quite some time for drinks and even then several team members were forgotten! Drinks were also hot and miss - French 75 was poured to a different level for each person that ordered it and the champagne was a little flat! We had to request plates and utensils when food was brought out but it got better after that! Caviar churros were okay - a little chewy but the crudo was delicious and the basics - French fries and bread were delicious l! Ended with a nice glass of Faust and it ended way better than it began !!

So I had really high hopes and some of my experience was good. They comp your valet when you eat at the restaurant. The hotel decor is beautiful and they have so many things in the hotel to make your stay convenient. The restaurant is on the 27th floor so the view is amazing. We had a reservation because we were celebrating a birthday and we were sat quickly. And then our experience faltered some. It felt like because we didn't order the way our waiter wanted us to, if felt like he was not super helpful during our meal. My husband had to pull him aside to order bread because he wouldn't take our order until our whole party was there. When we did finally get to order, it took a little while to getour food, even though they did not seem incredibly busy. They also charged my husband $5 to bring him a small saucer of house made steak sauce. The steak was just ok. My salmon was pretty good, we also enjoyed the brussel sprouts and mushrooms but we did not care for their version of Mac and cheese. We also tried to order some brussel sprouts to go and he made it seem like it was a problem but we wete able to get them. For the prices I wish our food and experience was excellent a but it was just meh. After we paid, the waiter seemed nicer. He took birthday pictures for us and helped resolve a problem our friend had with parking. I wish he had that same energy while he was waiting on us.

Very nice inside. Big windows overlooking the city at night was nice. Everything is à la carte. We ordered the prawns to share and they were presented with a wow factor . Other side included Brussels sprouts, corn casserole and the Parker rolls. All delicious. A friend and I shared the small filet and the salmon, both were cooked perfectly as we requested. Service was great. They should offer to split checks for large parties.

I've been a big fan of Ser for quite a while now, having eaten there several times in the past years. It's been a great restaurant, but this visit was a little disappointing. First of all, the bread continues to be phenomenal. Great wine list, nice touch with the soccer ball ice cubes to honor FIFA, and the presentation of the food was very nice. They brought out a coconut bisque as a starter and it was just ok. I ordered a bowl of lobster bisque and it was not anything like an authentic lobster bisque. I think they added some coconut milk and other spices that were not a good fit with lobster bisque. I ate the lobster meat from the bisque and left the rest. For the main, I ordered the 19 ounce wagyu ribeye, but the quality of the steak was not at all worth the price. Usually, there is a separation between wagyu and other steaks on the menu, but in this case, the quality of the meat didn't shine through. Service was also relatively slow, and I'm wondering if a lot of that was tied to the 20% automatic tip for our party's size. I have no issue with the 20% gratuity policy, but service should not suffer. It wasn't a terrible experience, but truly disappointing. I hope that Ser continues to evolve and hopefully the next visit will be better.

Everything was just okay, it wasn't to run home about; the entire table felt the same. We were also there forever, it took atleast 45 min for them to come ask our party about apps and drinks. Beautiful place with gorgeous views, just not somewhere I'd come to with a large party perhaps. Id come back to see what that steak talking about though.

Had our 10th anniversary dinner here during a 3-night long stay in the hotel. We were seated isolated by a window with a beautiful view. The food was superb. I was most excited for the bone marrow which we were able to take home for my doggy to enjoy afterwards! We're happy with our memorable experience here. The written card from the staff was so sweet. Definitely get the ice cream dessert if you want to end with some sweetness! It was such an experience with just the smoky presentation.

Decided to eat here today, as we are staying at the Hotel for the CMSA conference. In addition, everyone has said nothing but nice things about the food. We arrived on the 27th floor between 5-5:30pm. We were quickly greeted and seated close to the kitchen. Our waiter, Marcus, was phenomenal. He explained everything to us and made recommendations. He made the experience all the more memorable. We opted for the prefixed menu that's available now thru July; Salad: Caesar (Best Bite ) Entree: Surf &Turf (Steak and Prawn) Dessert: Lemon Olive Oil cake w/ Raspberry sorbet Best bite was the Caesar, hand down, but I'm a Salad Snob. It had just the right amount of dressing, and the garlic bread crumble is chef's kiss. I didn't miss the croutons at all. Meat was grill to perfection with a great sauce and just the right amount of creamy potatoes. It also comes with a side of onion jam, yay! Now dessert, this is not your tradition lemon olive oil cake. If you are looking for strong lemon flavor, opt for something else. Although it's tasty, I couldn't taste any lemon at all. It's more of a Vanilla bean olive oil cake, encased in white chocolate and hazelnuts. Enter freely and enjoy the warm atmosphere and amazing views of downtown. They've been approved.

The food was delious and the drinks were great. Our seats where not the best and we asked to move but they did not accommodate us although the restaurant was fair empty when we arrive.

The restaurant is on the 27th floor of the Anatole hotel with views of the city all around. The upscale classy ambiance is the best thing going for this place. We were celebrating a birthday and came here for a llate dinner with family and friends. The waitress did not give good service and we felt a bit rushed most of the time. She kept trying to pick up dishes off the table that we weren't done eatting. She even forgot to pack my side dishes after taking them off the table and I requested them to go. She was too busy trying to get our party out of the restaurant. The food was decent but i felt it was a bit over priced for some of the entrees to be so plain. I saw they have happy hour arounf 5pm and a live piano player around 6pm. The next time the family visits, I will be picking a different steakhouse to enjoy.

This place is very elegant with soft lighting and a calm, welcoming vibe and the view is great. The food was superb. Service is good. Overall I love it. My favorite was the 6oz a5 miyazaki .

I'm surprising a friend for her bday , for a party of two what should my budget be? Thank you in advance

Entrees are around 50, plus apps, etc., if your adding wine/drinks +125. So i would plan for around 175 per person. The food is amazing and the view spectacular. Have fun!!

What is the dress code? Are jackets required or are long-sleeve button up's ok for guys?

Jackets are not required. Dressy casual will work, but don't be surprised to see people in T-shirt's and flip flops. Request Richard as your server, he's been with the hotel for 30 years, and the chef, Thomas Gray, was recently voted one of the top…

The two that got the salmon said it was ok, a bit overcooked and they also didn't care for the mix underneath. The filet was stupendous and the cowboy was really delicious. What I received was a half of a martini with the rest of my martini in a shaker next to it. The martini was fine but nothing special. Not the first time I've overplayed for a drink but I do feel a little funny about the way their menu sold me then undelivered. $19 Hummus - The food was an issue for me though. When I order Hummus, I expect to receive hummus. Like the dish should be 70-80% hummus with some light toppings and some good pita bread. What I received was a pretty plate but very little actual hummus and a disaster of pita. First, they made a pretty plate circle of a small band of hummus then filled it with extra stuff to make it APPPEAR as if the center was filled with hummus yet there was zero hummus except for that small outer band. I estimate 49% hummus and the rest tzatziki and garnishment. Don't get me wrong, very aesthetically pleasing and tasty "extras" but the menu item isn't titled "EXTRAS with a little hummus". It's titled "Hunmus". And the pita... oh boy, what a mess. Proper pita is lightly grilled - served warm with a nice sponginess yet bite friendly approach. This pita was way over saturated in their butter/oil, and crisped up to the point there were burn marks and char on every piece. Horrible pairing with hummus and JOEY should know it. I feel these other reviews may be fake honestly as the prices are insane and the execution quite poor. Be careful. $45 for a $15 meal isn't worth it. Upon entering you're met with dim lights, deep burgundy leather seats and images of musicians painted in every corner. The restaurant is absolutely stunning! We were lead to a large half moon shaped booth nestled in the corner; which was large and plush. Plenty of room for us four and honestly at least two more people. On our table was a place card that said Happy Birthday to my partner which was a nice touch. Our waitress arrived and very pleasant and helpful. She asked if we had questions and gave us some highlights of the menu. We ordered another round along with Meatballs Troubadour, the Heavenly Sourdough and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice. The Heavenly Sourdough and Meatballs Troubadour were absolutely the stars of the show! The meatballs were flavorful and juicy. The marinara sauce paired wonderfully with the sourdough. For entrees, Dry-Aged Delmonico, Pomme Puree, Crispy Brussels, Honey Truffle Chicken and Whole Lobster Spaghetti. All the food was divine! To wrap it all up we of course ordered the 24 layer strawberry cake. The cake was bought out with a candle and 4 glasses of bubbly which was a very nice treat. Drake's met all my expectations and more. A huge thank you to the manager stopping by to make sure all was well throughout our meal. And also our waitress for her professionalism, knowledgeable and all around pleasant vibe. Drake's is now on my love list!
