Out with mother in-law to celebrate her birthday. Another day younger. We ordered a broad array of food and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was prompt and the table attendant was knowledgeable and offered a variety of menu choices. The ambieance was old school with all the amenities to include the manager taking the time to cut our Tomahawk.

As expected with a high end steakhouse, this Ruth Chris location in Tyson's Corner blows the competition out of the water. Well I should say land and sea but I've been trying my best to refrain from dad jokes in my reviews. I ordered the lobster bisque, lobster tail, and large filet. The bisque was served at a great temperature and the lobster butter served with my tail was delectable. Everything in all tasted delicious and I was pleased with the quickness and hospitality I received when I unfortunately had to send my steak back for being a tad undercooked. The manager stopped by after it was returned to me as a courtesy to guarantee my satisfaction and thus turning a potentially devastating event to a maximum dining pleasure that is the Ruth Chris experience. The restaurant was very clean & modernized, and I appreciated the fact that I could never find a single piece of trash when walking through out the establishment. Thanks for the delicious meal and hospitality. It did not go unnoticed and I will be back one day soon!

Didn't think the food was that good. Maybe the chief was having a bad night. The service and ambiance were fine. However, I think Eddie Vs is better.

It was my first time dining at this Ruth Chris and services was stop notch along with the food that makes Ruth Chris who they are. The dinner was a private event and they had a few servers serving two private parties. But they will on top of everything from the drinks to the order of every appetizer and entree. Every dish was a signature of why Ruth Chris is so good. From the fresh seared ahi tuna, to their steak house salad, to the tender and juicy filet cooked perfectly medium that came with a buttery lobster tail that was cooked perfectly on a hot sizzling plate, to their creamy mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. It was a fantastic meal and the service put it over the top. The location of this Ruth Chris is odd. It should join 'The Capital Grille' near the mall or the many other restaurants at Tyson's Galleria. Parking around the restaurant is limited but thank goodness for the garage in the back.

My daughter took me to Ruth's Chris for Mother's Day (5/11). The service was good but the more and more that I look at my leftovers and try to eat the filet, I really think I was eating a chuck/pot roast. Surely tastes like it (dry). There was no flavor during the meal and not when eating my leftovers after the flavors settled overnight. Had to ask and add Heinz 57. If this isn't a chuck/pot roast then it is definitely a low grade filet mignon. For what we paid, I am very dissatisfied. The food took so long to come out because there was a back up in the kitchen per the waitress so we took a couple of bites and asked for a to go container. Been to Ruth's Chris many times but has never experienced this level of quality and taste from here. Below are pictures from the restaurant in Tysons Corner/Vienna and the internet. I wish we could get our money back.

So cute!!! It's my birthday and they had a little surprise !!

For a steakhouse that used to be amazing in quality and service I would say this one has declined. It was still could but if I'm comparing it to other steakhouses such as Flemmings and Eddy Vs or Fogo De Chao I would go with any of the other options. Service: The service wasn't bad, he was kind. I was celebrating my birthday so the table set up and hand written card was super sweet from the restaurant manager. However, service is not up to par for a higher end steak house. Food We got the petit filet mignon which was 6 oz for $53. I ordered my steak medium but got medium well. The steak was seared great but the flavor was okay. They don't provide proper steak knives (or I didn't get one). My friend ordered the salmon and shrimp. She really liked her entree. Our sides were terrible. The lobster Mac literally tasted like something burnt. We couldn't tell where the taste was coming from cause everything looked good. My friend spit out the lobster and said it tasted extremely weird. I didn't even bother, I only tasted the Mac & cheese. The Mac alone tasted really odd. We told the waiter and swapped it for the potato au gratin which was yucky too. Tips: Book a reservation in advance Parking lot is a small

Because of the OUTSTANDING SERVICE for a party we held five years ago, we decided to return to Ruth's Chris Steak House in McLean, VA, to celebrate our mom's 95th Birthday with our family. The event was wonderful, with Thomas and Patrick overseeing our party. Meg, Chang, and Tina were our servers for the evening, and they went above and beyond, handling our bar service, and meal from appetizers (delicious shrimp cocktail), choice of entrees, and dessert, along with serving the birthday cake! We had four children in attendance, and Meg saw to it that they were served in timely fashion, and happy with their selections! Everyone-all 25 of our guests-enjoyed their meals, and had a fabulous time, especially our 95 Year Old Birthday Girl!

I like Ruth chris. It's always a promise of a good meal. This for i fuck location is very slow. Hardly anyone is ever there. It's my third time visiting. So finally putting a review out Came with friends. Food was great. Shared tomahawk steak. Was grilled to perfect medium rare. Steak knife was dull. The bartender brought out a whole selection. I think they can make them better. Salad was great. We also got shrimp dishes. One was shrimp cocktail. Jumbo fresh shrimp. Great choice. Another was bbq shrimp. Also great. Staff was so pleasant. Free Parking easy outside the restaurant. It's next to embassy suits hotel. So super convenient. I just wish it had better ambiance. However. Quiet and not packed can be a great tine for a change. Recommend.

Keeping this short and to the point...won't ever be going back to this location. Not sure if it's Ruth's Chris or just this location where the quality and expectations for a high end steakhouse have gone down. This was our second time at this location within the last month, and both times have had issues with the quality of food. The first time we went we sat at bar and ordered drinks and an appetizer. Drinks and service were on point, food not so much. We ordered the ravioli appetizer. It came out cold and had to be sent back. When it came back out it was the same plate just reheated. Whatevs. I will say they were delicious. Second time we visited we figured the first experience was a one off and decided to give it another shot. This time we ordered a filet with a side of creamed spinach and fries. What a mess this was. We ordered a medium filet that came out well done. When we sent it back, the kitchen sent it back out with the waitress to try to justify a well done steaks on the outside but med on the inside. What??? Absolutely unacceptable in my book. New steak came out that was supposed to be medium. Still not what we expected. The manager and waitress were super apologetic and made the experience as accommodating as they possibly could. I really hope this is just a temp flaw at this location and not Ruth's Chris as a whole. I will be giving it a break for now, especially with so many other amazing steak houses out there.

We brought our son and his roommate for dinner whom had never been to the restaurant. The restaurant is in the mall, so mall parking is available although on our visit it was insanely busy and the parking green/red availability markers were not functioning properly. Fortunately, I was able to locate a spot without too much stress, prayer, or endless navigation. My wife was able to make a reservation and we were promptly seated upon arrival. Service seemed a little slow to take our drink order and receive them so I felt we had to guide the server on next actions to avoid wait. I had the pork chop which comes with cabbage but was allowed to swap it for mashed potatoes. A green vegetable would have been nice to come with the entree so I had to order additional sides such as the Brussels sprouts with bacon, and sweet potatoes. Everything was delicious. My son's roommate is a vegetarian and was able to find a lentil dish and salad on the menu for his meal. He was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the meal, ingredients, and low calorie counts across the menu. I asked for a bread basket if they had one since it wasn't offered and we received four 2"x4" thin pieces of a thin bread like a tortilla. I could've used a few more of those baskets while we awaited our meal since it didn't have an impact as a bread roll might. A good visit, good food, decent service, and a decent price.

If you're Korean, and you're looking for the traditional affair, this is not it. I'd take a client or friends here who aren't Korean. It's catered more towards non-Koreans IMO. They're selling this as an upscale spot and while the quality of meat is pretty darn good, you have to ask for lettuce and garlic - the two items always present at a traditional k bbq. It kind of sh*ts on the tradition by doing that. Why not provide that to give the full experience we all expect? I love luxury dining as much as anyone else but this was a colossal waste of money. I come to this shopping center multiple times a week since I live in McLean and almost always miss that this exists. They also have barstools outside facing the bar indoors but it's just so awkward. The sidewalk of this area is not built for that! Great idea (usually), but terrible execution. There's so many Korean bbq places nearby. I'm glad I tried this place to kill my curiosity of what they do different. Again, great spot if you want in bbq in a more upscale atmosphere, but it's more or less "fusion," and I'd be good with a business dinner here. Service was impeccable though. I appreciated the promptness in attending to our needs. The savory dishes btw- the dwenjangjiggae is awful. Lacks depth, flavor, and just overall was very meh.
