We've eaten at quite a few Brazilian Steakhouse, most of them have fixed prices for everyone. It's graduation season, we visited our friends in VA and he took us to this restaurant to celebrate their anniversary. The price here is $70 per person which is a little higher than other places that I've been. The restaurant is very nice and clean. The servers are quite attentive and pleasant. I like the salad bar with many fresh produce to choose from, we can make our own dip. There are many types of meats that served, but some are quite chewy and a few are tender which I like. The meat servers come very often, we have to turn the sign off a few times to finish what are on our plates. Once in a while on a special occasion, having Brazillian food is nice, but to me it's still over priced. The young people like our friend's sons enjoy this place tremendously, they can eat very well. Overall, it was a great dinner with friends, nice atmosphere, delicious food.

Office holiday party and we took up the back of the restaurant (8 tables? of 10). I helped myself to the salad bar which had many options. They were pretty good about replenishing too. The guys coming around with the meat were attentive! And paid attention to how you liked it cooked. Some beef things were good, some outstanding. I didn't try the chicken or shrimp. We had a choice of the cheesecake or the chocolate cake. Chocolate cake was good and thank god, a small piece! Wish they had something lighter like ice cream. Place was very popular mid January!!

Brazilian steakhouse that doesn't miss the flavor! Each cut of meat is seasoned so well. It's juicy, tender, and servers are constantly stopping by the table to offer you options. An array of meats are offered including chicken, pork, and various of beef. There are also servings of shrimp to go around as well as delightful slices of cinnamon pineapple! I enjoy how prompt and accommodating the servers are. There are also many sides at the salad bar which were pretty good. Another highlight was the elderflower and lemon martini...chef's kiss! Overall, it was fairly priced for the value and I had a great experience. I'll be back for the experience!

My 3rd visit here and it was NOT a charm. Celebrated my anniversary our server was nice. We got our starters: Polenta sticks not good. Puffy bread balls: hard as a rock. Brazilian mash potatoes. We got it served cold :( Dinner service starts at 4pm. They make sure all the lunch patrons clear out 1st. Which runs past 4pm. The salad bar was meh. The only good thing was butternut squash soap. Most side item seems like it came from a container. Guachos all stood around there til like 4:25 is when the 1st rounds of meat came out. The best meats IMO were Filet mignon Lamb chops Rib eye Short rib. However, the top of the line stuff... filet mignon and lamb chops really lagged throughout the course of the night. Often times we had waited for these items. The guachos (who were very nice and professional) kept asking us what we were waiting on. We said lamb and filet mignon. The chicken ( which look dry) salmon- we found out that it's farm raise ( no thanks) Shrimp and pork sausage kept coming out and grilled cheese and grilled pineapple. Our server was ok. However I dont understand why the top meats lag . This happened before at my friends celebration. For what they charge, I expected better. I get better meat and service at K bbq at a lesser price. Valet parking is available for $5

Vegetables, rice and beans plus smoked salmon from the salad bar.

I stopped in at Chima Steakhouse Tysons Corner after leaving AMC Tysons Corner, and when we first arrived the dining room wasn't very crowded. After 8:00 PM, though, it definitely filled up. I hadn't been to in more than 10 years, so I was excited to return--and I'm happy to say it absolutely lived up to my memory. If you're searching for a Brazilian steakhouse in Tysons Corner with a great salad bar and authentic rodizio dining, this spot really delivers. I still remembered how good their salad bar was--and it did not disappoint. What I didn't realize before is that you can order the Select Rodizio and choose just one protein (shrimp, chicken, sausage, or picanha). Our entire table chose the picanha, and it was the right choice. Right after we sat down, they brought out warm cheese rolls with a creamy spread that had a slightly salmon-style, savory flavor. It was a great way to start the meal. At the salad bar, I loaded up on fresh vegetables, rice, beans, sausage, smoked salmon, and beef carpaccio. The beef carpaccio was absolutely amazing. One of my friends grabbed the chimichurri sauce, which I ended up loving--bright, fresh, and very flavorful (I personally would have enjoyed just a touch more garlic, but it was still excellent). Our server, Karas, was excellent and very attentive, and they kept the picanha coming. It was cooked perfectly--medium rare, juicy, and with just the right amount of fat along the edges. They also brought us crispy polenta, whipped potatoes, and fried bananas. The potatoes were incredibly addictive, the polenta had a nice crisp, and while the bananas could have been a little crispier, they were still a nice sweet finish. I'll definitely be back to Chima Brazilian Steakhouse in Tysons Corner, VA--and honestly, I would even come just for the salad bar alone. I also really enjoyed the vegetable soup (I believe it was butternut squash). Overall, this was a great evening, excellent service, and a hearty, satisfying meal. If you're looking for one of the best places for picanha, rodizio, and Brazilian steakhouse dining near Tysons Corner / Vienna, VA, this is a solid choice for a weeknight dinner or special occasion.

Chima's Steakhouse is a premium Brazilian steakhouse chain with a beautiful ambiance and a polished dining experience. The restaurant itself is elegant and comfortable, making it a nice spot for a special outing. The service was great -- attentive, professional, and well organized throughout the meal. Brian M., did a wonderful job.

We had a great experience at China and you really can't beat the flavor and quality of the food! Our favorite bites were the lamb chops, ribeye, cheese bread, and the grilled pineapple. The salad bar has a good mix of pasta salads, breads, and veggies. We were celebrating a graduation so they brought us a complimentary cheesecake, which was also good. Also, the valet is only $5 which is pretty awesome. There are a couple bumps in the ambiance and service. When we were first seated it took about 5 minutes for a waiter to come around with drink menus and explain the setup. Then on the back half of our meal we didn't get any service from the gauchos for about 10 minutes. This was Mother's Day weekend so it was crowded. Lastly, and this is a nitpick, but they call your name out for reservations like orders at McDonald's, for a place of this level you'd think they'd have a more upscale experience. Overall a great experience and we'll be back!

8 years ago I wrote an amazing review with a few notes to be fixed! Guess what? 8 years and quality is amazingly solid if not even better and my notes were taken care of! Yes!!! Their shrimp has gone amazing now and it's peeled with the tail on and amazing dressing/seasoning!! The service is still amazing! The best price now is on Sundays! Don't miss their limited time 2 lobster tails for $20!! And if it's your birthday don't forget to sign up online and get your $25 off coupon just don't celebrate your birthday more than twice a year! Lol ;) After trying all three chains in the area I can tell that Chima WINS!!! 1. The best meats- taste, quality and variety! 2. The best service and most friendly! 3. Complimentary valet parking wish if 1 can remember all the names of the great staff but next time 1 will do!! Thanks to: Eric Zaka Ibrahim Ayman And for everyone who made this visit a great experience for me! The salad bar is amazing, the appetizers are also amazingl! The best ever Brazilian vinaigrette! They are paying atattention to the details! I loved the lamb chops, beef ribs, top sirlion , fillet mignon , the Cajun rib eye and the shrimp, spicy jalapeño sirlion steak ** I love that the soda has free refill! Desserts are great but on my last visit I didn't have a space for it :) Try it, vote for the review , message me, or compliment me with any comment or question, and don't forget to ... Pray for me ;)

The meat! Sausage, shrimp, fillet and something else (it was good).

You could only order 1 time per 2 people from their signature dish section. One of those signature dishes was a single 2 inch long wagyu taco. Imagine you are on a date and you order that as your one signature dish. Who gets to eat it? The cold Tapas items were terrible. The fish was not fresh and poorly seasoned. Tasted very fishy. We ordered the wagyu skewers and the meat was fine but there was no seasoning on it at all and no sauces or dipping salt to go with it as you would expect at a Japanese restaurant. The only thing that was good was the karaage and the wagyu fried rice. As we sat at the table we were dive bombed by gnats and bitten by mosquitoes. Our waitress was great but the mgt did not train her well because she was unsure of many things. Mgt also seemed slightly loss and roaming around. At the end of the night I gave them my parking ticket to validate and they said they did, but I was still charged $8 to leave the garage. This is a reopening but there were too many issues that were not resolved. I have never been charged that much money for such an unsatisfactory meal in my life. It's just like the bare minimum of things that they could do to improve the service at this restaurant and unfortunately, it just never happens. As other guests have mentioned, the service at this restaurant is quite terrible. We are paying $67 a person and barely get someone to refill our water. My husband kept going up to get a clean plate himself (something that the servers used to do ) while we see two of our alleged servers standing by talking to each other. I'm sorry, but if they have time to chitchat, then they probably have time to help the guests. We were there on a Saturday night and I just can't understand the indifference of the servers. We have probably been to this location about a dozen times and the service just keeps getting worse and worse. Now we are at the point where we're wondering why we would ever come back. I ordered a glass of wine and of course had to remind them to bring it, and the server looked at me curiously like oh right I forgot about that. ???Throughout the service there were at least three or four different people who helped us and I have no idea who actually was our main server. The gauchos repeatedly passed us by. I don't really understand the method to how they go to the tables. Also, all they kept coming by was with chicken, chicken and more chicken. Very minimal beef options. I understand inflation is out of control, but guess what you keep raising costs. So maybe stay on par with what you're charging and what you're offering. The biggest stressor of the night was trying to get the heck out of here. I am part of the rewards program and we were there to use one of our rewards, which I told one of the four servers and apparently he had no idea what I was talking about now this goes back to paragraph one. If you have a rewards program, shouldn't that be something that the servers are trained on? So anyway they ran my bill without the reward and then had to get a manager involved to figure it out. But this time it took about 30 minutes just to close my tab. Mind you the waiter had the audacity to ask me to close it out quickly because he was going to be switched to a different area. Now, dude, I would love to if somebody would help me!! Like um, you? It took me at least 15 min to even flag someone down. We will not be back to this location. Maybe we'll try a different Fogo, but we have just about had it with this one. It is not a pleasant experience when yes, you are paying a flat rate, but it doesn't mean you should sacrifice service.

Unfortunately, it was nothing like what we expected, and the food was extremely disappointing. Then I found out the owner is Bolivian not even Argentinian. The chimichurri was red and had a very different taste than what we expected. The green hot sauce was basically like eating raw jalapeño--extremely overpowering. The mashed potatoes were watery and very salty, and the broccoli was literally sitting in so much water that almost half of the bowl was full of it. The rice tasted like microwave rice, and the French fries were just ordinary fries. The biggest disappointment was the meat. It was extremely fatty, chewy, and had almost no flavor. The chicken was overcooked and tasted like leftovers that had been reheated. For an Argentinian restaurant, the quality and preparation of the meat should be one of the highlights, but unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. Honestly, we could barely eat our food and ended up leaving most of it. What made the experience even worse was that, despite barely being able to eat the food, we were still charged half of the meal. The total bill was over $85, and that included $5 for a small cup of what tasted like microwave rice. Just in case the food looks half-empty in the pictures, we did put some of the food onto our plates to try it. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat it, so that's why some of the containers look partially empty. As someone who was genuinely looking forward to trying Argentinian food, this experience was incredibly disappointing. In my opinion, this restaurant does not represent the quality or flavors that people expect from Argentinian cuisine. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I would not return.

We also ordered a variety of grilled meats, including the two large Parrillada meat platters and picanha . The accompanying sides we tried were the fries, cheese rice, fried yucca, and plantains. I really liked the plantains, but the cheese rice was not was I expected. It was more like grits than cheesy rice. The meats were cooked to how we requested it, and of course tastes especially good with the sauces. My favorite cuts were the strip steak, beef rib, and picanha. I didn't really care for the sweet breads, but that is a personal preference. Value wise, the Parrillada platters could easily feed 4 - 5 people, so we had plenty of leftovers. I would definitely recommend checking out La Estancia if you enjoy grilled meats!

Others thought it was a bit on the sweet side Tuna Tartare Nachos - Not too impressed Dry Aged Roasted Chicken - Tasty dish with mashed potatoes...comforting New York Strip - Good steak..cooked well but think it could have been seasoned better. For $52 you are getting into the realm of Capital Grille, Randys which I think have better flavor Crab Cakes - Good amount of crab...the son really enjoyed it. Fries were spot on. Overall giving 3.5 stars...Food is good but perhaps we were expecting more with the 4.5 rating on Yelp.

Disappointing Experience with the Final Bill…read more We had a great time at Ruth's Chris overall and really enjoyed the food and the service throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the way our final bill was handled significantly impacted our experience. When reviewing the bill, I noticed that we had been charged for champagne that the restaurant had provided to us complimentary. I brought this to the waiter's attention, and that charge was removed. However, after the bill had already been paid, we discovered that we had also been charged for three entrees that were already included as part of our pre-fixe meal. This was very disappointing. We had a large dinner party, and the waiter received a $300 tip, so I would have expected the bill to be carefully reviewed before it was presented to us to ensure that we were being charged correctly. Having to identify multiple incorrect charges ourselves made us question whether the bill was being thoroughly reviewed before being given to the customer. After dinner, I emailed the restaurant regarding the additional overcharges and never received a response. I called the following day and spoke with a manager, who stated that she planned to refund the money. However, I still have not received written confirmation of the refund or an apology for the billing errors. The food and service were good, but billing accuracy and customer follow-up are also an important part of the dining experience, especially for a large and expensive dinner. I hope the restaurant addresses this situation and improves its billing and follow-up process so other customers do not have a similar experience.

It may sound unusual, but it is surprisingly tender and flavorful. It comes in a delicious stew served over stewed potatoes and rice. The steak is tasty, although the cut of meat could be better. It is served with a salad and topped with an egg. The Queperi is essentially beef brisket served with cheesy rice, fried plantains, and yuca. It is a delicious and satisfying plate. If you like hot dogs or sausage, try the Pique Macho. It is a huge plate of sautéed beef and sliced sausage cooked with onions, finished with slightly cooked tomato wedges and topped with jalapeños. The beef and sausage sit over a bed of steak fries, and all of the flavorful juices soak into the fries, giving them an incredible flavor. The downside is that some of the meat is a bit tendonous, but the overall flavor is very good and the dish is definitely worth trying. The Lomo Saltado is another good choice. The flavor is quite good, and the portion is generous. They also have a bakery section with Napoleons and a variety of Bolivian baked goods, including cheese bread. Everything we tried tasted fresh and was pretty good. Overall, there are lots of interesting Bolivian dishes to try here, and the generous portions make it a good place to explore different flavors.
