I think it really depends on the management on the day you decide to do business here. Since it is always hit or miss I'm going to settle with 2 stars. Sometimes it's amazing. The to-go options are usually reasonably priced, unless they forget half the order... sometimes the food and service are spectacular, until you organize a 50 person event for dinner on a weekday and they refuse to bring our beef / picanha even if you ask for it multiple multiple times. You get dry chicken. Dry bacon wrapped something and pork. Not beef not steak. We had 50 people and really one server with meat. They would go straight to the first table close to the entrance of the Private room. Run out of meat. Then go back to the kitchen. The expensive drinks came almost immediately. I would strongly suggest Chima for an in Person event. I sat and kept going to the salad bar had to go home and make my own dinner. Never again. You can take a risk of getting the butcher meat / celebration packages catered here but always check the packaging before you leave the premises. I've been a customer either in person or to go for over a decade and ordered at least 50 times. For almost $100 a person with my generous tipping policy. No longer a fan. Not a recommend. Pass. Go. Elsewhere.

Fogo de Chão delivers an exceptional dining experience from the moment you walk in. The ambiance is bright and airy, with high ceilings and large windows that create an inviting, upscale atmosphere. Isabelle greeted us warmly at the entrance, setting the tone right away. Roger expertly managed our experience, making sure the right cuts kept coming as we enjoyed the Churrasco all you can eat offering. The food was outstanding, perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and abundant. The omelette bar was a unique and welcome touch, with custom omelettes prepared and served directly to the table. Pablo and Lovis were also standout servers, attentive, friendly, and on top of every detail. From start to finish, the service, flavor, and overall experience were top notch. I cannot say enough good things about this location. Highly recommend!

Came here for the first time this year and was not very impressed with the Service today. The buffet food is very good as they do want you to stock up on the buffet items so that you go slow the meats, but I was not impressed with the meat offerings that they did today and they were not coming that frequently to our table and many times we did found ourselves waiting.

Today we dined at Fogo which used to be a family favorite for us. We will not be dining here after the worst possible food AND service experience from Khalifa & Samir. Khalifa brought me the wrong drink, forgot our bread basket after saying he was bringing it three times, and didn't bring us any yucca, mashed potatoes, plantains or the chimcurri sauce we asked for three times. Still, we were fine as we understand mistakes happen but then we realized we were being totally ignored. Everytime we'd ask where are the items he would say "oh it's coming," and it NEVER came. Usually this place is defined by its teamwork but if we knew coming here at 8:30pm on a Thursday would mean we'd get the worst possible service and not even the food we paid for we would have opted out. We then had a period of 20 minutes STRAIGHT where we weren't offered anything but lamb chops in the first 5 minutes, which weren't good today. I once again let our server know and 15 minutes went by without anything being brought over. That's when I asked another service for manager intervention and NO manager came for atleast ten minutes. It was not busy in there, as I stated we were being ignored so they could shut down clearly. We started wondering if the kitchen closed and no one told us. The first "manager" came, barely said anything and said sorry the foods coming. By the time the food came out we didn't even want it, after taking a break like that you don't even want to eat anymore. And the meat they brought out was grey like it had the SpongeBob suds. We asked for the check and they gave us the family and friend discount despite none of us even being halfway full & not having received 40 percent of the menu items. Nobody even came back and said anything and the real manager was just doing nothing. The server then took FOREVER with my card and I had to go relieve my baby sitter. When I go ask for my card the manager Samir who ignored me the whole time, even after the issue did not say one word to us but at this moment decided to say "it's all good here." I realized we were intentionally being disrespected and treated as we were upset for nothing? I was completely shocked. Instead of him saying sorry he tells me it's all good, and I have the best chef in the kitchen as if that matters ? The manager was confrontational and showed us no respect. He also said "everything takes a while here," instead of apologizing for his team's shortcomings. Horrible leader, horrible team.

Listen- I am no newbie to Fogo de Chão. Sadly, this means that I know the difference between good quality service and subpar. Having that been said, I would highly suggest you visit a different location. The management and the servers don't seem very attentive to customer needs or satisfaction! There were so many times food was brought over and utensils were never provided. It was really difficult to tell who was our server and often times the people that helped us. The most appeared to just be surface from the table next to us or even the water servers! Every time we come here, it's to celebrate something either a birthday or Valentine's Day and unfortunately the Tysons corner Fogo has not made our experience excellent for the past two experiences. This is why I feel so confident to say that the Reston location appears to be much more well managed. In the all you can eat Brazilian steak restaurant categories there is so much competition: chima, Fogo, Texas de Brazil and sadly I will be picking differently next time. Our dessert even came out still frozen!!

The last time I went to Fogo de Chao (NYC location) was over three years ago, and I was looking forward to dining here again at their Tysons location. My friends and I were here for lunch last weekend where we enjoyed the FULL CHURRASCO experience for 65pp. Before we enjoyed the steak, we grabbed some food from the buffet that had ample of salads, cheeses, charcuterie options, and more. I avoided grabbing too much from the buffet because I wanted my fill of steak. I did enjoy the Caesar salad and mushrooms. During the time we were dining, it was pretty crowded, and I don't think we got to try all the types of available meats. Servers will do their best to stop by every table with meats on a large skewer, and if wanted any of it, they would slice off a piece for us. However, I did enjoy both top and bottom sirloin cuts (Picanha and Fraldinha). Both cuts were roasted perfectly and lightly seasoned with rock salt. If I'm ever back at Fogo, I'll make sure to ask for extra pieces of these two. Besides the sirloin, most meats were just OK. There was a garlic steak that was weirdly pasty and unappetizing. The lamb options were incredibly greasy and fatty. I avoided the sausage and chicken since I was here for red meats. Throughout the meal, the servers brought us sides to share, like garlic mashed potatoes and pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread). The pão de queijo had a chewy, mochi like texture -- incredibly addictive with its buttery and savory flavors. To end the meal, we were given a few desserts (cheesecake with strawberry drizzle, chocolate molten cake, and key lime pie) to share. Very sweet desserts, but the chocolate was my favorite. Overall, the food was incredibly heavy and rich, and I don't think I ate my money's worth. After about 10 cuts of all the meats (and sharing some cuts with friends), I thought my stomach was going to implode. It's a nice and luxurious experience, but I personally wouldn't dine at Fogo de Chao more than once every few years.

Food galore!! We went as part of our company dinner and had a great time! I'm always worried about parking but discovered that valet is only $5 for however long you stay. Inside was very spacious and lively. Service was on point. The salad bar had a lot to choose from - veggies to accompany the meats! I loved the eggplants (3 kinds !). We tried all sorts of meats that were brought around to us - especially rare beef medallions. Not sure about price as our company paid but I'd say definitely worth for the experience.

I've dined at several Fogo de Chão locations, and unfortunately the Tyson's Corner location had the worst customer service I've experienced. We were a party of 8, and our server completely forgot our alcoholic drinks. After waiting 30 minutes, we had to involve a manager just to get them brought out. We also ordered a seafood tower, and as it was being brought to the table, it collapsed--green-lipped mussels fell onto the floor. Instead of properly remaking the presentation, the staff simply split the remaining items into two bowls and served it that way, which felt careless and unprofessional. Service continued to be inconsistent. I asked another server for a crab cracker three separate times, and she forgot each time. A manager eventually had to step in again to bring it. Food quality was also disappointing. The shrimp on the tower was excellent, but the lobster claws tasted frozen and waterlogged--no one at the table wanted to eat them. When we asked for a discount due to the poor quality, we were told the chef could cook it instead. That resulted in rubbery, overcooked lobster that was even worse. Overall, this experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially compared to other locations. I'd recommend visiting other Fogo de Chão locations like DC or Virginia Beach instead. If you're in the Tyson's area, Chima Steakhouse offers a much better Brazilian steakhouse experience.

The place looks amazing vary well we got seated quickly the downsides where the service very slow got my lemonade almost when I was going to leave the food was good a little salty for my likening but to make up for the food and drinks being so late we got a free dessert not bad just service wise needs to improve

Fogo de Chão is a great group experience, with an air of fine dining but still allowing familial comfort in both dress and seating. We came with the intention of eating our fill and enjoying every bite. We were not disappointed. While there were definitely moments when our card was turned green and the service did find its way to us, overall the Brazilian steak house experience was superb.

Second time at the TYSON'S FOGO location for Thanksgiving and so glad we did. Their service is wonderful, everything's fresh (quick to replenish), and the meat just keeps on coming!!! TURKEY was so juicy, goes well with their mashed potatoes, and tried the lentil soup for the first time - delish. They have sauces you can request to go with their meat- chimichurri, horse radish, and a salsa/hot sauce- HIGHLY RECOMMEND mixing all three on your plate. FYI, If you're looking for a Fogo for celebrations and holidays w/outstanding service, TYSON'S is a great option. 10 out of 10 for me! Enjoy.

You're in for a real treat when visiting this restaurant! The food is superb! Be ready to get the all you can eat meal and enjoy mouth-watering meat as staff go table to table sharing their offerings! There is a salad bar that has cold foods available such as salads, fruit and soups. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out and sure to be a meal to remember.

The food was amazing, as per usual... but Lilya was the star of the night. Her service was amazing, and made us feel like five star guests!

Recently, Eater DC published a list of what they considered the best steakhouses in the DMV…read more Randy's made the list. We were looking for a place to have our anniversary dinner. After seeing the list, we chose Randy's. Randy's is a Great American Restaurant, and I must say it's so good to go to a GAR with a menu different from the others. In the past, I've written about how one can go to Coastal Flats and get pretty much the same menu as, for example, Jackson's. We made a reservation for 5 p.m. on a Saturday. We arrived about a half hour early, so we asked if they could seat us right then and there. The people at the host stand said "yes". We were seated at a 4-top booth. Thus, there was plenty of room. The booths, which have mohair seat coverings, were a shade of green and quite attractive. The environment clearly says "upscale steakhouse." Our server was prompt in getting to us and asked if we wanted some water. We chose tap water. He gave us time to look over the menu. We decided to not have any appetizers as we didn't want to get too full. To drink, my husband got a glass of Catena Malbec while I got an Espresso Martini. Our server asked if we wanted some bread. We said "yes". The bread basket had 2 flaky, buttery croissants, plus a slice of white bread and a slice with raisins. For our main course, we both got the 7 oz. filet mignon cooked medium rare. We chose to try two sides. One side was "roasted asparagus" which consists of: "poached egg, parmesan (we asked for no cheese and our request was honored), truffled Bernaise aioli". The second side was "Honey roasted organic rainbow carrots," which were "dusted with candied walnuts". As for the food --- We both thought our steaks were properly cooked, However, my husband said his was on the dry side while mine was just right. We both really enjoyed the side dishes. The asparagus was unconventional, to be sure. Never did I have a poached egg with asparagus. I ate the egg, and it was properly cooked. Looking back, I should have thought to put some salt on it as there was none. The truffled sauce was creamy and added nice flavor. The carrots, to me anyway, were a pleasant surprise. The honey added a nice flavor along with the candied walnuts. They, too, were cooked perfectly. As for being "rainbow" carrots, most were orange, with some white and yellow ones. We had some room for dessert, so we decided to share "Tressa's crispy meringue filled with lemon curd and finished with passionfruit coulis". Since it was our anniversary dinner, a dollop of whipped cream was added to the plate. In that dollop was a lit candle, which was a nice touch. I found the coulis to be on the tart side. The lemon curd was mildly flavored. Service was excellent, though dessert took a while ,to arrive. All in all, a nice splurge and we're glad we came here. (Well...we didn't care for the traffic on Leesburg Pike, but the dinner made it worth the trip).

The atmosphere: The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting ambiance. There is plenty of spacious booth seating, which made for a comfortable dining experience. The food: My table started with the Crispy Fried Point Judith Calamari to share. I have a peanut and tree nut allergy and didn't initially realize that the dish included pesto. The staff promptly remade the appetizer without the pesto, which I appreciated. However, the interaction left me feeling a bit like an inconvenience based on the tone of the response. For my entrée, I ordered the Patsy's 5 Star Reserve Rib Eye. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was absolutely delicious. I also added a side of the House Steak Sauce, and it paired wonderfully with the steak. I highly recommend trying it if you're someone who enjoys dipping sauces with your steak! The service: Overall, the service was pleasant. The staff was kind, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. While there were a few minor hiccups, I enjoyed my visit and would return to try more of the menu.

O my! I don't know where to start…read more.. Chris L. was our serve on this trip and he had wonderful recommendations, like: 1. Golden hour cocktail - It was just lovely! It tastes like the best rum punch you've had. It was perfectly sweet, but not too sweet. Beautiful in color. So good I had to sip this one very slowly...like it was the last or only one ever made. DELICIOUS! He also recommended the: 2. Smoked Old Fashioned and it was served to perfection as well. Nice and smoky and smooove. Then...we had the lobster tacos. I don't like lobster. Well, I didn't like lobster until I tried these tacos. To be honest, the lobster tasted like crab legs and the taco was dressed in all fresh ingredients (avocado, charred corn, cilantro, and a fresh flour tortilla) Alright...then next up was the Panko Crusted Sole. It is not filleted tableside because it is pan seared in the kitchen. It was very filling. I think I had three nice-sized filets. It came pretty much with a light and fresh tomato salad. You should do it! Then there was the Crab Cake, which was good. It was in the sweeter end. It was a large portion. It does not have jumbo lump crab meat, but don't let that deter you. Christ also informed us that the "Accompaniments" (sides) could be ordered in half sizes and indeed we - I - had a half size of the Au Gratin Potatoes. They were very smooth, flavorful, and creamy. Also, shouts out to Oscar who held down the water service and the other little things in between that also made this evening even better. The ambiance...I can't wait to head here again on Friday! I went in Saturday evening and the 3 Bears (band) was the live musical entertainment. They were AMAZING! To be honest, I just want to drop in and get a salad and drink...but everything else was so wonderful that $300 later, I'm writing this review. It was worth every penny - and don't forget to tip the band yall! That's it.

First, the au gratin potatoes were tasty and even better when I reheated them the next day. The dumplings first came out cold, and when they were replaced, they didn't have much flavor. I ordered the lemon tart to take home, and I really wish I hadn't. It lacked flavor, and the crust was not crisp. I was very disappointed. Service at the bar was a little hit or miss. The bartenders were very busy, and the waiters would walk by, avoiding any eye contact. Also, the host needs tips on greeting guests. Instead of asking how he could help us or if we had a reservation, he just stated that they were booked all weekend. During our time at the bar, only half of the tables filled up.

The price here is $70 per person which is a little higher than other places that I've been. The restaurant is very nice and clean. The servers are quite attentive and pleasant. I like the salad bar with many fresh produce to choose from, we can make our own dip. There are many types of meats that served, but some are quite chewy and a few are tender which I like. The meat servers come very often, we have to turn the sign off a few times to finish what are on our plates. Once in a while on a special occasion, having Brazillian food is nice, but to me it's still over priced. The young people like our friend's sons enjoy this place tremendously, they can eat very well. I had a party of eight, and we often had to flag down our server for assistance. In most restaurants, the staff is attentive and regularly checks on guests, but that was not the case here. Since the food was not being served by the waitstaff, I expected drink refills and basic customer service to be more proactive. Overall, the lack of attentiveness took away from what should have been a special celebration.

My sweet friend also loves this place. Dinner was easy to decide on this week. I don't typically like being in VA but since I'm his "favorite" plus one, yes let's do it. Service is always great here! Can't remember a bad visit! Ambiance, typical "fine dining" atmosphere. I love that most patrons are dressy. I typically get steak when I'm here but he dines at this location at least once a week (he's loyal) and raved about the salmon. I listened and followed his recommendation. Let's get into it! Salmon - OMG I might have found my new favorite place to eat Salmon! Chef's kiss! Do not get well done, prepare it the chefs way! Sautéed spinach - was perfect! Will note I didn't need a side but I got this and glad I did. Filet Mignon butterflied - Oscar Style is my go to and typical order. Lobster Mac - Always! Perfect for date night, with an ambiance that encourages slow talks and shared smiles. Recommend this over and over!

They have a few tables with umbrellas for cover during the day and even some lighting for nights. Food: The steak and sushi combo was interesting. The sirloin bites were small, but good, the sushi was mid - just not enough tuna on the crispy tuna rice and not enough flavor. The pesto spaghetti (Shrimp and Scallop Spaghettini) was good, but came with only two shrimp and a handful of the smallest scallops I've ever been served. The salmon entree was cooked well. Drinks: The cocktails were the highlight of the night. Several good margarita and martini variations on the menu that were perfect for the weather. Service: This was the worst part of the meal. Our server seemed to be frazzled the whole night. Twice during the meal we had our drinks delivered to the wrong table. The manager verbally apologized, but took nothing off the bill. It wasn't just our table though - we saw several of our server's tables get the wrong food or drinks. It also took a really long time to get water refilled at the table which was an issue in the heat. Verdict: 6/10. If they ironed out the kinks with service and dropped their prices by 10% on select dishes (tiny sirloin bites and subpar crispy tuna rice for almost $50 is madness), they would probably be an 8/10. I'll probably give them one more try and just avoid some dishes.

Sorry for the late post. I was really excited when my husband surprised me with a birthday dinner…read morereservation at Churasko last Saturday 3/28, but I'll admit I was a little nervous after seeing some mixed reviews on Yelp. Thankfully, our experience turned out to be absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the host was warm, welcoming, and very patient as we figured out which dining option we wanted. She clearly explained the different experiences--from the churrasco and Wagyu offerings to the sushi and small plates--and gave us time to look over the menu without any pressure. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with great ambiance and music that really set the tone for a special night. My husband chose the Platinum Tier dining experience for my special occasion and it was worth it. Our server, Mike, truly made the entire evening unforgettable. From start to finish, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He took the time to explain each dish, offered great recommendations, and made sure we were always taken care of. We started with Brazilian cheese bread, which was just okay, but the trio of flavored butters (gochujang, black sesame, and regular) was unique and delicious. Then came the Fire & Ice seafood tower, which was not only beautifully presented but also came with a dramatic tableside display. The grilled shrimp and oysters Rockefeller were excellent, and the chilled oysters and sashimi skewers were fresh and flavorful. The lotus chips on the side were also a nice touch. One dish that didn't quite hit for me was the lobster tempura--it was slightly salty and it was a bit soggy when I expected it to be crisp. However, the lobster bisque more than made up for it. It was hands down one of the best I've ever had--the broth was light but yet very rich and flavorful, perfectly executed!!! We were also served a shrimp egg custard that was interesting and enjoyable, though we were already starting to get full at that point! Then came the highlight: the unlimited premium meats. Everything from the A5 Japanese Wagyu to the lamb chops was delicious and high quality. The bone marrow pasta and Wagyu fried rice were standout favorites for us as well. The presentation throughout the entire meal was stunning--every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and visually beautiful. What truly made the night special, though, was Mike. He went above and beyond to make my birthday feel celebrated. He surprised me with all three desserts, a complimentary champagne toast, sparkles candles, and even two beautiful take-home gifts (a set of Japanese-style bowls like the ones used for the lobster bisque, with the restaurant's name on them). That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. We had so much food that we couldn't finish everything, and Mike kindly allowed us to pack up what we couldn't finished to take home. Overall, this was an incredible experience with outstanding service. Honestly, it was far better than when my husband took me to Hell's Kitchen a few years ago--we spent just as much there but received nowhere near the level of service or even a simple birthday acknowledgment. Highly recommend Churasko, and if you can, ask for Mike--he will take amazing care of you!

We paid Michelin star prices for airport lounge food. That is how I can describe it. The silver and gold packages per person ARE NOT WORTH IT. They give you unlimited wine and beer but it's not wine you get to choose and they were out of the Japanese beer my brother wanted. They have house sake but you can't choose the sake you want. For the cost of what we paid per person (which includes tip) and the service reflects that. You could tell our server didn't want to come to our table very much at all. The only thing that blew me away with the gold package which is what we got was the grilled pineapple. The silver package sits you in the silver section with the silver buffet. The gold package sits you in the gold section with the gold buffet. You get the point so your party all has to do one of them...then there's the platinum which I will never find out about because it's NOT WORTH IT. I thought we were going to get lobster and oysters and all of the wagyu tacos I saw on instagram. I come to find out that is the à la carte menu and it is probably way cheaper than what we paid. The most disappointing thing was that we were told we were getting something called Australian and American Wagyus??? Yeah they were awful pieces of meat. I wanted the Japanese A5 Wagyu seared in front of me for $150 a person at a JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE. It's not the American steakhouse or the Australian steakhouse...it's Japanese...The Filet and Picanha were the softest pieces of meat they offered but even then I could have cooked and eaten better at home. Thank goodness the one great thing is that they didn't charge us for the 2 kids because there was no way they were going to eat $150 worth of food each. If they had charged us for the kids, it definitely would have been highway robbery. The sushi at their "airport lounge like buffet" wasn't great either. The sushi and seaweed salad was sitting out for awhile. It was my brother's birthday and we didn't get a cake- you could only choose 1 of 3 desserts from their buffet. I wanted to try the 4 milks cake but since we didn't know or do the à la carte we were limited to what they offered in the gold package. The ambience and vibes are cool. But definitely just stay downstairs and order off their menu. To do it right I would have gotten the first drink on the house for ladies at dusk and ordered from menu. I hate these kinds of steakhouses because you're always left feeling like you didn't get the quality -- you just got quantity. We felt defeated and I could have eaten better at Capital Grille or gone to a Michelin and at least would have felt more wow-ed! -after a $1,220 for 6 people, I honestly want my money back...
