Takes a long time for drinks that are burnt and/or way too sweet, rude business owner. Not recommended.

Tried rush on 5th for the first time today. I tried once before but waited 20 minutes behind one car and gave up. The girl was nice (Saturday at 10am ish) The prices were fair, 3.75 for a 12oz mocha. Nowadays you can't find one under $4. It was your average mocha, more chocolate than coffee which is common but not what I like. I like to taste the coffee. Also interesting it's not listed that they charged extra for iced. Like an iced latte. I would try the food but I'm always skeptical of anything like that besides a bagel. They have a punch card where you get a free 16oz drink when you get enough punches, or signatures in this case. read more

The customer service was great, she apologized for the wait and was nice. Unfortunately one of the coffees tasted like burnt watery coffee and couldn't taste the added flavors in it. The second drink was just bitter. read more

I want to like Rush, I really do. It is right next to another coffee stand, and oftentimes the line is significantly shorter-unfortunately there is a reason for that. The line takes forever, even if there is only one car in front of you. The first time I gave the benefit of the doubt and assumed the person in front of me must have been a friend of the barista and was chatting (which mind you, still isn't great when there's a line forming behind them, but still); however this has happened without fail every single time I have been here. The wait times are just that slow. I have been when I still had 20 minutes to get 5 minutes down the street to work, and been late to work, when there was only one other car in front of me, and nobody in line on the opposite side. The service ranges from fine to not great depending on who's working. I've had times where I pull up to the window and proceed to wait another 5 minutes before the barista acknowledged I was there to take my order (and there was nobody else at the stand). It feels like a time management issue above anything else- I am the only person there, finish my order BEFORE you take several minutes to clean and rearrange things, don't do it while I'm sitting there waiting. My other major issue here- for some reason the hot drinks are ALWAYS lukewarm. No matter what variety of hot drink I order- tea, coffee, etc- it is always barely above warm, and by the time I get where I'm going is room temp. Even ordering "extra hot" only gets it to where it ought to be to begin with. I have asked in all ways I could think to try to get my hot drinks, well, hot, to no avail. They sometimes carry flavors I've never seen other stands carry, like Ube, which is nice, and at times the service can be decent, I have just found it is unfortunately not worth the wait. read more

Just amazing! Alaska is definitely the home of many coffee shacks. And they mean business. This particular one is THE BEST that I have ever had. I ordered a 32oz caramel frappuccino. The price alone was waaaaayyy cheaper than Starbucks and Dutch Bros. And the taste was out of this world. Similar to my other fave shop in Palestine Tx called Jocelyns Donuts. So creamy. So dreamy. Try their iced matcha latte!! I first went to this place because it didn't have a long line and was easy to go in and out. But then their matcha was so creamy and thick that I fell in love with their drinks. The amount of ice was perfect and it was so good from the first sip to finish. Literally just left this espresso.. I purchased four 24oz lotus and two 16oz coffee. They got the flavors wrong on one of the lotus drink, and of course I told her the flavor is wrong. The girl yanked the drink out of my hand and made the right one. The making of the second lotus was so loud I could hear everything she's doing. And one of the drink spilled on me when she yanked the other drink. Gave me the drink and shut her window. We still left a 20% tip. Never going back. They're so RUDE. My coworkers always go there and that is why I went there to get my coworkers morning fix. NEVER!! I will let our staffs know too. SMH just sad :( read more

I came here with my niece seeking breakfast burritos (as a New Mexican, I needed my fix while on vacation). My nephew ordered the scrambled egg boat, my niece the ham and cheese croissant, and I a burrito with sausage. My only single complaint is the sausage appeared to be the microwaveable patties-- mine wasn't cut up too well and I found two half sausages in my burrito.... if you plan to order breakfast, order the boat. It was DELICIOUS- made my mouth water the second it entered the car so I insisted my nephew let me have a bite of his.... and it didn't disappoint in the slightest. The barista was super sweet and friendly. Quick service, considering we ordered three food items. (Also, the number listed on Yelp! and the iPhone maps is out of service so we weren't able to call ahead!) read more

I used to love their drinks but I was treated horribly from one of the girls there and she wouldn't even let me finish. I did talk to the owner and he was awesome the blonde girl just needs to work on customer service and I went to this place for years. After tip I paid $8 for a drink I couldn't drink. read more

don't order through the yelp app, went to pick up my order and the girl had no idea you can order through yelp and had to call her boss to verify...somehow didn't have my order. YELP customer service was super nice and refunded me though. read more

I always have an excellent experience here- at both of their locations. Their breakfast burritos are huge and custom ordered, and their coffee is always smokey (in a coffee way) and not bitter whether I get drip or espresso. Treat yourself sometime with the lefse special. read more

Went here this morning for the first time and the barista was short with us. Service was somewhat unpleasant and my drink was so-so.

Totally worth 5 stars! Can't imagine why it's less. Espresso drinks are delicious (especially the frozen ones), and breakfast burritos are more than filling and very good. Manager can memorize 4 orders perfectly. We went twice this week, each time we were around the area. read more

I use to frequent another coffee shop east of this one, but have been to this one several times now and they make excellent drinks! At least the barista that works on weekday mornings. Have also had their breakfast burritos a couple of times and those are really good as well. The "other" coffee shop may have better access, but this one is worth it, IMO. read more

I bought a promotion on here to get 50 dollars for 25 dollars. When i tried to redeem neither location knew anything about the yelp deal and would not allow me to redeem. When one girl called the owner they told them to give me a 50 dollar gift card. When she tried to do this the gift card would not activate. Seems like some really poor business practices. Will not return and recommend that you try one of the other many nearby coffee shacks instead. read more

Ordered at the window received okay drinks got home checked my email and seen I had been billed $3.00 for delivery along with my tip. Tried to contact any of the numbers listed on any of the contacts no response or wrong numbers so be cautious and check what your being billed for. Very tasty bagels! Service was excellent but a little slow as they only have one toaster with which to to toast the bagels. I just wish that I had carefully read that they were only a food stand and not a sit-down restaurant. Their menu was very limited but was unavailable on the Yelp site. I'd really like to see menus available for all postings to help in the decision process on whether to try a place for the first time. read more
