Still my favorite spot for breakfast in Anchorage!!! This place is sooooo cute inside! Even love the oversized spoon and fork for door handles as you enter. I always come here for breakfast when I am in town and have tried most of the menu. FAVORITE SAVORY OPTION: Go with 1 of the 7 different EGGS BENEDICT options. They know how to poach an egg and have a great hollandaise sauce. Today I ordered the "country Benedict" and it was a cross between biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict. It was executed perfectly and delicious! Their bacon here is also really good! FAVORITE SWEET OPTIONS: Don't order pancakes here! They are thick and heavy. However they make the BEST "stuffed French toast" I have ever tried. The combination of the bread they use and fruit just really works. Cinnamon rolls are good (not world famous as they claim, but good). They come with WAY TOO MUCH frosting though so ask for the on the side. COFFEE: Love that they have an espresso machine! They make a decent latte but ask for them to make it hotter than normal. Otherwise it comes out lukewarm. SERVICE: This place is popular and BUSY (especially in the summer). Yelp allows you to JOIN THE WAITLIST before driving over, be sure to do this. Servers have always been attentive and personable. BATHROOM CODE: Wish they didn't require a code! Kind of a hassle. Today the code was 1534

Love this Cafe. The pecan buns are the best I've ever had in this world. I love the Kaladi Brothers coffee, especially the refills. This morning I went to get the sampler plate which consisted of the pecan bun I referenced and a tea like cake and a muffin. I'm not sure what kind of muffin maybe cinnamon or? The muffin was super dry. The tea cake was semi-dry. And the pecan bun was kind of hardened like it's been sitting out and then when she microwaved it the great server who I really liked it was in there too long. I guess I'll suggest next time to heat it up between 30 to 45 seconds. And that's on me. I should have just got the pecan bun and got it from the case. I was sad because I had a bad morning and I was really looking forward to coexisting in a peaceable way in my favorite Cafe. Of course I'm going to be back again and again and this service was impeccable but I just wanted to share that even though it looks looks tantalizing I think it's important to to ask how many seconds you're going to heat up the sampler plate and I should have asked if the muffin and cake were dry cuz I don't like dry and they make me choke just saying. Thank you

Great service from the host to the server. First, you can't leave this place without ordering the hash-browns they are crispy but not extra it's just perfection. Ordered the almond joy Espresso coffee and it was delicious. My husband ordered the hearth attack with all the extras and it was great. I ordered the Crabby Omelet, the crab delicious was the omelet juicy. This place is a must when you are visiting Anchorage. The ambiance is also great, a lot of people around and good r&b classics.

this is my second time here, and it is a brunch house alaskan staple. it's always packed/busy in here and service does take a little while but that's probably because they're busy making everything from scratch! everything i've ate here is delicious. prices are high but it is worth it. i always will come here if i am in alaska!

We were in town from CA and we Absolutely loved this brunch spot! It's super cute, trendy, and clean, with a fun, lively atmosphere. It does get busy, but that just shows how good it is and it's definitely worth it. The food is excellent, and the service is fast and friendly, which is always a win. The salsa bar is such a great touch and everything we tried was fresh and flavor bowl. The pastries were amazing and the mimosas were delicious, with different juice options that make it feel a little extra special. Our waitress went above and beyond, and even made us an extra fancy iced coffee topped with whipped cream, which was such a fun surprise. This is a perfect spot for a girls day or a family outing. Cute vibes, great food, and an all-around fun experience.

A beautiful awesome morning amazing people of the world. We are in Anchorage, Alaska and were hitting up Snow City Cafe for some brunch brunch. It's a highly recommended joint by everyone we spoke to so let's give it a proper go at it. Kodiak Benedict - eggs are perfect, holandaise sauce is a little muted but pleasant. The crabcakes, so surface very well. Its front and center. One of the best bennies i ever had 9/10 Hashbrowns - As perfect as a hashbrown can be. Texture, crunch and flavor is how you would expect from a strong hash. Extremely superb 9.9/10 Reindeer Sausage - Perfectly cooked. Spices used are pleasant and the reindeer flavor is divine. Two thumbs up 8.8/10 If you ever find yourself in Anchorage, Alaska, do give this spot a proper go at it and let me know what you think. Hit that follow for more food and travel adventures by yours truly. Share this review with a smash mode buddy and thank you so much for reading along. I love you Mwah!

While visiting town we decided to come grab breakfast here. They do not have parking but it was early enough we found street parking across the street. The inside is super cute with bright colors. It was early enough we didn't have a wait. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our waitress helped us out answering some questions about the menu. We ended up getting crab cake egg Benedict and breakfast sandwich. The smoothie was good, not too sweet not too bitter. The hash browns were so good! Overall the food and portions were good. Menu had plenty of options. Give this place a bite

    CLUCK NORRIS

My partner and I came on Saturday morning before our flight back home to California. This was on our list of must eats and of course we saved it for our last meal here in Anchorage. I ordered the Kodiak Benedict and I thought it was very good. One of the eggs was not poached and almost a soft boiled egg (jammy), it was kind of disappointing but I didn't make a fuss of it. My other egg was poached beautifully, I don't know what happened to my other egg, but accidents happen. Taste wise, I thought the hollandaise was pretty good, and the crab cakes were not salty which is nice. Holy MOLY I thought they were the best hash browns I've ever had in my life. It's perfectly crunchy and crispy on the outside but soft and tender on the inside. WOW! My partner had the Cluck Norris and he thought it was nicely prepared. The eggs were cooked to his liking (doesn't like it runny). He said it was a simple yet well made breakfast. A classic Americana breakfast that hit the spot. The service was wonderful, the hostess was lovely and our server was on top of it. I loved her tattoos ! When I come back to town, I'll be sure to visit and try something new.

Snow City Cafe is a popular downtown diner with the locals and tourist. Reservations aren't accepted, but you can simply be added to their wait list by either going to their website or at the host stand. There were many breakfast options and with the recommendations from my server, I got the ship creek Benedict. It comes with two poached eggs over a salmon cake. It was delicious and would have been fabulous if both of my eggs were runny. Service was ok. There is no restaurant parking, only street.

F O O D I came here for breakfast and got the Tundra Scramble which has local Alaskan reindeer sausage in it! It was so good! And of course I was freezing when I got there so I started by having a hot chocolate first. Overall everything was great and I'd definitely eat here again!! S E R V I C E My server Monica was so sweet! She was totally on it with service and recommendations. She made sure she gave me a water before I even looked at my menu and then proceeded to make sure I had everything I needed! A T M O S P H E R E It is so vibrant and cozy inside! You don't feel overwhelmed, you just instantly feel at peace in this cozy little diner café! Love, love, loved the experience here!

My goodness this place is always amazing. I come here every time I'm in Anchorage when they are open. On previous visits I've had the stuffed French toast and the Cluck Norris omelette, but this time I tried the Brisket Benedict with corn bread and demi glace and caramelized onions... it was incredible. Voting this one to be a permanent stable on the menu! The owner is great and often serves tables as well. Just a very cute little colorful cafe in the middle of Anchorage. I do mourn the loss of their Coffee Bar however. Also! Since you're reading this on yelp, if you go make sure to use the get in line feature it can be quite busy!

I know they paused reservations but are they back to taking them yet?

10 days ago, the sign up for seating was in person.

    Did they stop taking reservations?

They still took reservations as of July this year

How much is the wait time in morning around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday if we have reservation?

We made our reservation for Sunday the day before on Saturday. I believe we made the reservation through YELP. And they were slammed when we got there around 11 am. They were on a 1 hour wait but, after checking in, we only waited 2 or 3 minutes.
