Comfort food for sure. I loved that they had retro video games and pinball machines that accept quarters or dollar bills. It is very busy and it passes the time while waiting. Before you know it, they are calling your name for seating. The food was tasty and good. I had the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich. Crispy bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese. I had a side of grits which I haven't had in forever and was worth the wait! I love the diner charm and the Coca Cola themes in the main dining areas. Happy to go local for breakfast! All the ladies were very friendly and loved our little one. I got the French toast sandwich which had two pieces of French toast, bacon, cheese and egg. (Pick your protein) they have water, coffee, and everything you need at the table. Makes them a little crowded but you don't have to ask for anything. Home fries were good. I've been in Alaska for over 20 years, and how is this the first time I'm coming here. It's small but mighty! We got seated right away. They came with drinks while I was in the restroom, I just got a water and sister got a Diet Coke. We both got the corned beef hash extra crispy, i got the home fries extra crispy and my sister got the grits. The food was delicious, but the grits could have used some salt and butter. We added cheese to ours so that maybe why they didn't add them? Not sure but next we will ask. The place started filling up with so many people and it made me happy to see all the different faces around us. We will be back, and that probably will be tomorrow. The inside was cute. It wasn't too full, and they didn't look understaffed, but it took awhile to get our order taken after being seated. I landed on the biscuits and gravy and added overeasy eggs. Despite the slow start, our food came out quickly and was pretty good. Definitely comfort food so not the healthiest. Met some friends here for breakfast. They were able to accommodate a table of 6 pretty easily - I'm not sure they have seating for parties larger than that. They have arcades when you first walk in that are free to use. Super relaxed environment- I did think the music was a little too loud for breakfast time. Once we ordered the food came out pretty quickly. Everything was pretty good. I had the 2x2x2 it ended up being too much food for me. My husband had the biscuit bowl and said it was pretty good. My only complaint was having to track down refills for water. Seems once you order no one attends to you much after that. read more

Family-owned spot with amazing staff that remember returning guests and create the homie ambiance that this place resonates. Great little old time diner with mostly breakfast food. It was a nice atmosphere for visiting with friends.

Located in a strip mall. There was a short wait on a Sunday morning - but not bad really. Hubby got the corned beef hash, eggs and tater tots, I got the BLT with onion rings. We were right near the kitchen and I could see when my order was up - and it unfortunately sat there for about 7 mins before it was served, so the onion rings were on their way to cold when i finally got them. BLT was pretty good though. Star of the show was the tater tots, they were served piping hot and maybe are homemade (or some better version than in your grocer's freezer). I think the corned beef hash was canned, but was salty and hit a good breakfast spot in my tummy. read more

Located in the corner of a strip mall, this little hole in the wall diner can be easily missed. But I'm telling you guys - you DONT want to miss it! We ended up going on a Saturday at 1130ish and The seating is limited, but worth the wait! I did take a bite and it was quite good (tried to avoid the godly amount of cheese) *lactose here* but he loved it! Our friends got the 2x2x2 pancake, sausage links and eggs. She was pleased && her husband ordered the country fried steak scramble, as you can see mountains with delish country gravy. That was, I think, the highlight of the meal. Super pleased over all with EVERYTHING. They are a well oiled machine. Even when they were busy, a couple of our toast got misplaced, but it was right out in a jiffy once we mentioned it. The walls are decorated with classic Coca-Cola memorabilia and they have a mini arcade with old school video games. I visited for brunch on a Saturday so there was a little bit of a wait for a table. There isn't much room to wait inside but there is a bench outside. The menu is mostly typical American breakfast dishes with some more interesting items such as crab benedict. I ordered the California omelette, which came with bacon, mushrooms, avocado, and Swiss cheese. There was a nice balance of ingredients and the avocado was very fresh. The omelette came with home fries and toast which were a nice addition. The home fries were not the best I've had (although to be fair I'm pretty picky about home fries) but they were good. Staff were very friendly and the food arrived quickly. Prices are a great deal for the portion sizes and food quality. read more

I ordered a chocolate milk and the 2x2x2 with bacon and upgraded to French toast. My husband got the Reindeer sausage breakfast and coffee. Everything was served quick, hot, and was yummy. It was our first time trying Reindeer sausage and they had the perfect sear on it so it was Crispy outside and juicy inside. The tater tots were crispy and hot. Service is always fast, efficient and consistent. Their portions are large and prices are reasonable. You will leave full without breaking your pockets. I grew up on Village Inn breakfast and breakfast here, is a good alternative. My spouse enjoys their coffee. As other Yelpers have mentioned, their home fries are a staple. My spouse gets their chicken fried steak almost every time and it is definitely tasty with some hot sauce. I order something different each time.
