I stopped here for lunch after seeing the great reviews and just moving to town. This is nothing more than Costco ingredients slapper together and served at high prices. The staff is rude and rush you through your order. They have a chip on their shoulder and our little cocky about thinking they're the best in town. This food is subpar and overpriced. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, which is so dry. I had to keep drinking water to try to wash it down. There is absolutely nothing about this place that you can't make yourself at home with a trip to Costco. Save yourself the time of energy and your wallet. I wish this place was as unique in flavor as it is in its prices. Owner was extremely rude. read more

The place to go for delicious food with quality ingredients. I always like to tip but the pricing is a bit too high I'm afraid (understanding the economy at this point in time). I particularly like their sandwiches (so many veggies!) - and smoothies. Not purée, but fresh food and Jamba Juice quality add ins. It's ideal for most anyone, friendly service, quality food, meet your friends/business, explore the ambiance of quirkiness. Neat consignment, resources and local events and postings. Also, there's a perfect area for a mom to stop by with their little (or older one) to chill catch up on media and one and one time. I suspect because of epic selection and kitchen sorcery they do back there, would explain why each time I leave, my hair smells like the place. Like food. Our very first official sit down meal in Alaska and like Yukon Cornelius we just threw the pick in the air. Fortunately for us, we hit gold! They serve up a sandwich like bubbe used to make. Fresh cuts of meat and cheese with several bread or wrap options. They have great pickles, too. It's a cozy little place with a handful of tables. Came here for lunch with my mom. The sandwiches tasted fresh, but nothing too remarkable. The decor felt a little chaotic for my taste, but that's totally up to the owners. Went on a Friday brunch time and there were diners and take out the whole time. Had tuna melt and chicken cranberry sandwich, both are great (taste was not out of this world per se, but the ambiance and quality makes it worth coming back for!) Great "coffee shop and more" located in ER. It's more than a coffee shop, but not quite a full-service restaraunt. Great for grab-n-go foods, working on your laptop, or a great cup of coffee. Drip coffee "for here" comes in a mug (as it should), and comes with free refills (as it should). I got the breakfast bowl and, while it was tasty, it was a bit too small for me. Not big enough for a breakfast. It was served in a bowl about the size of a side salad or side soup bowl, not a larger bowl like something you might get at Qdoba. I left feeling a little hungry. (5 stars just for this!) 4. The burritos are well portioned. 5. They have a low carb, breakfast bowl option. It's basically an omelet. But a very tasty one with black olives. On the north end of Eagle River on the Old Glenn sits this little gem hidden in a strip mall. When you first walk in you'll notice the greenery and small white lights covering the ceiling. There's only about 8 tables of varying tops throughout the seating area. The walls are covered with artwork, items for sale on display and various menus. It's almost cluttered but the decor kind of feels like home, too. We made our way to the cashier station to review the menus and make our selection, the hostess was ready to help us right away. They have a few menus to look at depending on your tastes, from coffee to frosties, sandwiches, soups, and salads. Plenty of choices for anyone in any mood. We settled on the breakfast burritos for our lunch since we didn't have breakfast earlier, love that they serve it all day. The burritos were served in fresh, toasted flour tortilla filled with eggs, cheese, and bits of sausage. The ratios of ingredients was a perfect blend. This isn't your typical breakfast burrito full with fillers and fluff but it was all hearty goodness. The staff was a pleasure and the food was delicious. Whenever I go in I feel so welcome. Cozy as it gets, they are master sandwich artists. Lots of options for plant based and vegan eaters and for those with allergies too. They have a lot on their menu, so I expect that they can satisfy any craving. Everything is tasty, they are locally owned and run and the restaurant is a long time Eagle River favorite spot. The high school students like running over their for lunch as well, which has to mean good things if they opt for that over the many fast food places they pass along the way there. Totally customizable sandwiches! Anything you want in any combination you want. You wanna wrap with turkey and cream cheese, cranberry, & spinach? Cool. You want a croissant with ham, cheddar, & peppers? Great. White bread with roast beef, pickles, and tomato? They are on it. I always love the soup but get there quicker they will run out. I haven't had any of their salads, but I will tell you what, they have a great selection of coffee treats. Eat your lunch, and take dessert coffee to go. This place is tucked into a strip mall off old seward before you get to Fred Meyer, opposite side of the road. Inside there is not much seating and the seating they do have is not the most comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the service is pretty good. The food is good. Wonderful experience! We are from out of town and stopped by for breakfast & to get sandwiches for later (sight-seeing all day). The service was excellent! We had a huge order, and they called in an extra helper and worked so hard to get everything ready as quickly as possible. Friendly staff, great service, and the food was delicious!
