There was a great small town feeling walking into Tinkers. The variety of sandwiches and breakfast picks were impressive. Service was wonderful and I'd recommend the Deli for breakfast and lunch. read more

Drove 20 minutes here just to find a sign on the door that said that they were randomly closed today. Business does not stick to its posted hours. Save yourself the drive and go somewhere else. read more

I stopped here for lunch after seeing the great reviews and just moving to town. This is nothing more than Costco ingredients slapper together and served at high prices. The staff is rude and rush you through your order. They have a chip on their shoulder and our little cocky about thinking they're the best in town. This food is subpar and overpriced. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, which is so dry. I had to keep drinking water to try to wash it down. There is absolutely nothing about this place that you can't make yourself at home with a trip to Costco. Save yourself the time of energy and your wallet. I wish this place was as unique in flavor as it is in its prices. Owner was extremely rude. read more

The place to go for delicious food with quality ingredients. I always like to tip but the pricing is a bit too high I'm afraid (understanding the economy at this point in time). I particularly like their sandwiches (so many veggies!) - and smoothies. Not purée, but fresh food and Jamba Juice quality add ins. It's ideal for most anyone, friendly service, quality food, meet your friends/business, explore the ambiance of quirkiness. Neat consignment, resources and local events and postings. Also, there's a perfect area for a mom to stop by with their little (or older one) to chill catch up on media and one and one time. I suspect because of epic selection and kitchen sorcery they do back there, would explain why each time I leave, my hair smells like the place. Like food. But that's usually a good sign for a good restaurant/cafe. Keep on keepin on, Tinker! read more

This is 100% my favorite place to go in town. We've been here many times and have never been less than satisfied! We've love the rainforest wandering soul vibes as the people who work there are amazing! My daughter shares a birthday with one of them which I thought was kismet! read more

Our go to place in Eagle River for breakfast, smoothies or a quick lunch. Tinker and the ladies are wonderful!

Fresh ingredients, good service. Great location with easy access. Welcome addition to Eagle River

Our very first official sit down meal in Alaska and like Yukon Cornelius we just threw the pick in the air. Fortunately for us, we hit gold! They serve up a sandwich like bubbe used to make. Fresh cuts of meat and cheese with several bread or wrap options. They have great pickles, too. It's a cozy little place with a handful of tables. We were extremely comfortable and really dig the intimacy of the whole event. They also served up the best iced tea I've had in months. 07/22 read more

Just comfortable vibe as soon as you walk in! The staff is very friendly and whether you are having lunch or breakfast (I can never decide) you will be happy with your choice. read more

The food and services were very good. I did not have to wait very long and had a nice discussion with the lady at the counter. We enjoyed our sandwiches read more

Came here for lunch with my mom. The sandwiches tasted fresh, but nothing too remarkable. The decor felt a little chaotic for my taste, but that's totally up to the owners. The seating was very limited which made lunch a little less enjoyable. The service was nice and the ladies making the food did a good job putting their quality work in! read more

Good vibe, good people, good prices! Local own, extensive menu (both food and drinks), affordable and yummy! This place is hopping! Went on a Friday brunch time and there were diners and take out the whole time. Had tuna melt and chicken cranberry sandwich, both are great (taste was not out of this world per se, but the ambiance and quality makes it worth coming back for!) People seem to get really excited about the Friday chili but I thought it was okay, not a repeat for me. Coffee selection was vast and intriguing combos that I'd come back to try them all! read more

Great atmosphere quick service and the best darn breakfast burrito I've ever had. What a great little place.

Such great food! The service and atmosphere is the best. Tasty sandwiches made to order. Love the place and people.

Great "coffee shop and more" located in ER. It's more than a coffee shop, but not quite a full-service restaraunt. Great for grab-n-go foods, working on your laptop, or a great cup of coffee. Drip coffee "for here" comes in a mug (as it should), and comes with free refills (as it should). I got the breakfast bowl and, while it was tasty, it was a bit too small for me. Not big enough for a breakfast. It was served in a bowl about the size of a side salad or side soup bowl, not a larger bowl like something you might get at Qdoba. I left feeling a little hungry. Next time I'll try something else. read more

If you're looking for regular breakfast in Eagle River, tinkers, rainforest has good food, quick service and a homestyle atmosphere.

The Rainforest Deli is located in a small mall in Eagle River and has a long time reputation of serving great sandwiches and homemade soups. They have coffees and teas and healthy drinks. It is a small place that might accommodate 16 to 18 diners. It is a warm and friendly place that makes you welcome during every visit. A family welcome place. Not a large menu but everything is tasty, fresh and made right before your eyes. Outstanding place for small groups or singles. read more

Best lunch spot in Eagle River! We loved our sandwiches and will be back for sure!!!!!

Just had lunch here for the first time. Great experience with friendly staff and good food. I'll definitely come back here again.

Definitely a family-owned, family-run business that cares about its customers. They have an interesting menu, and can accommodate dietary restrictions better than most restaurants. Only open for breakfast and lunch, so check hours before visiting in the afternoon. read more

Did the take out thing: 1. Excellent customer service on the phone. Very bright, cheery, and knowledgeable. 2. They serve breakfast all day. Win! 3. They have pumpkin spice YEAR ROUND. (5 stars just for this!) 4. The burritos are well portioned. 5. They have a low carb, breakfast bowl option. It's basically an omelet. But a very tasty one with black olives. I happen to live black olives, so score for me. 6. Didn't need a name or card or anything over the phone. Took care of everything when we came in. Excellent experience overall. With Eagle River having so few Breakfast restaurant options, this place will be regularly visited by us! read more

On the north end of Eagle River on the Old Glenn sits this little gem hidden in a strip mall. When you first walk in you'll notice the greenery and small white lights covering the ceiling. There's only about 8 tables of varying tops throughout the seating area. The walls are covered with artwork, items for sale on display and various menus. It's almost cluttered but the decor kind of feels like home, too. We made our way to the cashier station to review the menus and make our selection, the hostess was ready to help us right away. They have a few menus to look at depending on your tastes, from coffee to frosties, sandwiches, soups, and salads. Plenty of choices for anyone in any mood. We settled on the breakfast burritos for our lunch since we didn't have breakfast earlier, love that they serve it all day. The burritos were served in fresh, toasted flour tortilla filled with eggs, cheese, and bits of sausage. The ratios of ingredients was a perfect blend. This isn't your typical breakfast burrito full with fillers and fluff but it was all hearty goodness. The staff was a pleasure and the food was delicious. Love this little shop, will be back to try something else. read more

Best breakfast burritos ever!! They put black olives in them which are, in my opinion, the secret ingredient.

Funky little tropical themed deli in the heart of Eagle River. Notorious for their delicious breakfast and lunch wraps and sandwiches.

Whenever I go in I feel so welcome. Cozy as it gets, they are master sandwich artists. Lots of options for plant based and vegan eaters and for those with allergies too. They have a lot on their menu, so I expect that they can satisfy any craving. Everything is tasty, they are locally owned and run and the restaurant is a long time Eagle River favorite spot. The high school students like running over their for lunch as well, which has to mean good things if they opt for that over the many fast food places they pass along the way there. Worth becoming a regular! read more

This is an interesting place hidden in the awesome town of Eagle River! The owner and staff are always very helpful and friendly. They offer a wide variety of scrumptious things to eat and drink. The Turkey Ruben sandwich on Rye is my fav. The is a great local place to relax and eat! read more

Local flavor deli in Eagle River with a casual and lived in vibe. We had coffee drinks. My friend found the Kaladi daily roast to be too weak. Staff offered to add a shot of espresso, which did the trick. My nonfat Mexican mocha with whipped cream (don't judge!) was piping hot. Our baby companion happily played in the kids corner. read more

Totally customizable sandwiches! Anything you want in any combination you want. You wanna wrap with turkey and cream cheese, cranberry, & spinach? Cool. You want a croissant with ham, cheddar, & peppers? Great. White bread with roast beef, pickles, and tomato? They are on it. I always love the soup but get there quicker they will run out. I haven't had any of their salads, but I will tell you what, they have a great selection of coffee treats. Eat your lunch, and take dessert coffee to go. The service is outstanding and I only wish they had more room and more tables. read more

The owner is very rude and unprofessional she insulted me right to my face! I will never go there again! Her chili is very watery and her salad is tiny! it wasn't enough food! she's expensive! lexi's cafe is right across the highway their portions are huge and their half the price! and they serve lobster bisque and clam chowder which is delicious! go to lexi's instead! read more

Wonderful experience! We are from out of town and stopped by for breakfast & to get sandwiches for later (sight-seeing all day). The service was excellent! We had a huge order, and they called in an extra helper and worked so hard to get everything ready as quickly as possible. Friendly staff, great service, and the food was delicious! We especially loved the smoothies and selection of breakfast and lunch items. There was a kid's play area too, which was perfect for our group! Highly recommend! read more
