Organic ingredients, no seed oils. Food and service were great! Kombucha was delicious. Buns were homemade.

I've been to Miss prime beef quite a few times but every time I walk in I am amazed. The service is…read moregreat. The ambience is just like a regular meat market you go in and there's a counter with all the meat. We walked in and we asked for a specific type of steak. We saw the prize of moving on. We needed to get five and so we asked about recommendations on a cheaper cut of steak that would feed fat people and not break the bank. They were really helpful and helping us pick out the steaks that night and then we also picked up some bacon and I believe some dried meats like ham hocks or it was turkey necks. I don't remember. We have gone back and we had thought about looking at meat packages, but we haven't done it yet. We don't have room in our freezer, but they have really good prices. If you're looking straight from the butcher check them out I think you will be surprised at what you can get there and what they do have also ask about anything you may not have been able to find they may have it.

I love Mr Prime beef. Inside the place is not very nice but they have amazing meat…read more I got there hot dogs which was 8.49 per pound so 4 hot dogs, no lie they were the best I've ever had!!! I couldn't believe I was eating a hot dog!!! Also, there pepper bacon HOLY SH*T. It was the best bacon I've ever had!! I don't think I'll be able to go back to those Costco hot dogs & bacon. I am blown away! Also, the staff is really friendly and the location is easy to find.

We love Mexican food in our household so what but a way to look up Mexican markets then on yelp. I found this one and when we pulled up, we were confused by both doors so we went to the left. That one is the restaurant now I don't we don't know if they're connected but either way the food is good. We'll do a separate review on it. So we came out went over and oh my gosh, the amazement that we saw. The amount of snacks that we saw, had us in all had us amazed. They had refrigerated section They had a hot food section, even a little bakery in the back. We bought a lot of stuff that day, and we made our second trip because one of the spices we saw, was amazing so we went back and bought six more. But we also found one that was a fish and I put it on snapper and it was amazing so yeah don't pass up the spices while you're in there. This by far is our favorite store that we have found so far. And don't forget about the dried peppers. We picked up quite a few bags so we can make salsa things at home.

Bought the pork tamales. So delicious and authentic! Will be back for more! Preordered and picked…read moreup on Friday. Available only on Friday and Saturday. Choice of Pork, chicken or chili. So good

Review of New Sagaya City Market - Anchorage, Alaska…read more Five weeks ago, I moved from San Francisco to Anchorage, settling near the downtown area. One of my first missions was to find a coffee spot that felt like home--a place with not just great coffee, but genuine people behind the counter. After trying a handful of cafes, a neighbor suggested New Sagaya City Market, just two blocks from my house. What a win. The market itself offers high-end, quality products. Yes, prices are a bit higher than what you'd find at Walmart or Target, but coming from San Francisco, I was prepared for that. What truly sets this place apart, though, isn't just the products--it's the people. From the very beginning, the baristas here have shown me the most consistent and heartfelt customer service I've experienced since moving to Anchorage. They don't just serve coffee; they connect with you, listen to your stories, and make you feel like part of the community. Today was a perfect example. I slipped in the parking lot (rookie mistake--no spikes on my shoes for the icy ground). After two kind gentlemen helped me up, I walked inside with my spilled coffee. Annie, a new barista I hadn't met before, immediately offered me a fresh cup with such kindness and care. That small gesture meant so much--it wasn't just about the coffee, it was about feeling seen and supported. I also want to shout out Monica and Shea, who I met when I first arrived five weeks ago. They've been consistently amazing--funny, charming, and genuinely interested in conversations about life, community, and even my adventures back in San Francisco. Every time I come in, I leave feeling lighter, happier, and more connected. Thank you, Annie, Monica, and Shea, for making New Sagaya City Market my go-to coffee spot. You've given me more than great coffee--you've given me a sense of belonging in a new city. --- Would you like me to make this version short and punchy for Google/Yelp reviews, or keep it longer and more storytelling-focused for something like a blog or social post?

While the store is pricey, it is worth a visit for the items you can't get anywhere else and excellent customer service. I recommend trying the pre-seasoned ahi tuna, my personal favorite for at home meals.
