I was not impressed. The deli is small, with only one person working. The atmosphere is drab and cluttered. The person didn't seem to be very friendly or care if I ordered or not. I stood at the counter and had to wait until she made 3 orders without a word of hello or be right with you. We ordered a reindeer wrap finally which, we shared. The wrap consisted mainly of lettuce with a lot of mustard and a hand full of reindeer chunks. Maybe Pils is a local favorite and the locals know what to order? I was in town visiting and looking for a quick sandwich for lunch. Walked over from my hotel and found this nice little deli. It's a tiny place with limited seating and the woman working there was friendly. I ordered the BLT sandwich on white toast. I've had a lot of BLTs in my day, and this one was pretty decent. The bread as perfectly toasted and the sandwich fixin's were good. I ordered mine with a little extra mayo (which I'd recommend). I'm finding that eating out in Anchorage in general is a bit expensive, even at a little deli. The BLT cost $12.95 (April 2023). Having said all that, there was little room for improvement on the BLT. Perhaps a bit more of the toppings, but as-is, it was a fairly satisfying sandwich. I probably could have eaten two! I was hoping to pickup some soup as well, but there was only one option and I wasn't up for that particular soup today. read more

We were looking for a different place other than hotel to have breakfast and luckily ran into this small deli. It was just 8 am in the morning and saw the owner opening the door while walking by. They have variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The place is very small so mostly takeout but there are a couple of small tables inside and some chairs outside. My husband had a breakfast burrito with coffee and I had sausage and egg English muffin sandwich with hot tea. My husband said it was the best burrito he's ever had. My sandwich came out very hot and was so delicious. Wish we found this place sooner instead of having buffet at the hotel. Well, we have one more day in Anchorage so we will be having breakfast there again tomorrow morning. read more

I'm not a boba expert by any stretch but I have had some Taro boba elsewhere this one is maybe a bit on the sweeter side of what I have had before but super tasty. Lots of boba in the cup. What is important to point out that this is a tiny shop in Covid times and they are open. My friend and I ran into this place randomly on a Sunday morning (in Yelp, it said it was closed!!). We had a breakfast croissant sandwich and breakfast quesadilla and it was so yummy!!! The food feels home made, and the portions were generous. To top off, the two ladies who were working there were super friendly and nice! Originally we were going to go to the Snow City Cafe but that place was very crowded (30 min wait and it wasn't even 9am yet) and very pricey ($14 for breakfast burrito, which was what we wanted to have). Overall, we were really glad we decided to not go to Snow City Cafe and happened to find this gem. Def would go again if we ever revisit Anchorage!! read more
