Been in town on and off for a week but the timing was off to eat here again. Finally went in for a breakfast burrito with reindeer sausage and a drip coffee and it was just as tasty as last visit. Also bought a brownie for later snack and it was amazing. Hoping to come back to get a deli sandwich or wrap before I leave town. There is some seating available inside which is nice. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

We enjoyed lunch at Pil's Deli. Each dish was made from scratch and delicious! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The cafe is small, but cute. I would highly recommend visiting this cafe when you are in downtown Anchorage. read more

Fantastic food! This place is unsuspecting to the naked eye but it is an absolute gem in Anchorage. It's got some great breakfast burritos and sandwiches for lunch. Grace is doing most of the work herself but she is an absolute stud. If you want a quick bite to eat with some simple yet delicious food, go no further than Pil's! read more

I was not impressed. The deli is small, with only one person working. The atmosphere is drab and cluttered. The person didn't seem to be very friendly or care if I ordered or not. I stood at the counter and had to wait until she made 3 orders without a word of hello or be right with you. We ordered a reindeer wrap finally which, we shared. The wrap consisted mainly of lettuce with a lot of mustard and a hand full of reindeer chunks. Maybe Pils is a local favorite and the locals know what to order? This hungry traveler was not impressed. read more

Lovely. Good quick breakfast. Thank you. It was good. Very small but mighty. Its a deli. Mmmmmmm

I was in town visiting and looking for a quick sandwich for lunch. Walked over from my hotel and found this nice little deli. It's a tiny place with limited seating and the woman working there was friendly. I ordered the BLT sandwich on white toast. I've had a lot of BLTs in my day, and this one was pretty decent. The bread as perfectly toasted and the sandwich fixin's were good. I ordered mine with a little extra mayo (which I'd recommend). I'm finding that eating out in Anchorage in general is a bit expensive, even at a little deli. The BLT cost $12.95 (April 2023). Having said all that, there was little room for improvement on the BLT. Perhaps a bit more of the toppings, but as-is, it was a fairly satisfying sandwich. I probably could have eaten two! I was hoping to pickup some soup as well, but there was only one option and I wasn't up for that particular soup today. read more

After trying numerous breakfast places and getting hour wait times, we stumbled upon this super cute hole in the wall deli. They have breakfast and lunch options and offer gf bread options! There are only two tables in the whole place but the food is quick and satisfying. They also have smoothies, coffee, tea and some limited baked goods to choose from. read more

The owner Grace is so nice. She makes the best breakfast burritos. Perfect portion, not big, not too small. Definitely recommend.

Great wrap and gyro. Comfy outdoor seating and perfect for a nice summer day. Prices were reasonable and food was fresh.

This is a very cute deli that provides a variety of fast food. Bummer that they don't serve coffee. See menu pic. There are 2 small tables indoor and three outdoor. Service 5/5 Food 4/5 Price 4/5 a bit pricy compared to a reindeer dog you can get on a food stand $6-$6.5 read more

Cozy little spot, open early ! The most wonderful ham croissant breakfast sandwich- homemade to order.

We were looking for a different place other than hotel to have breakfast and luckily ran into this small deli. It was just 8 am in the morning and saw the owner opening the door while walking by. They have variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The place is very small so mostly takeout but there are a couple of small tables inside and some chairs outside. My husband had a breakfast burrito with coffee and I had sausage and egg English muffin sandwich with hot tea. My husband said it was the best burrito he's ever had. My sandwich came out very hot and was so delicious. Wish we found this place sooner instead of having buffet at the hotel. Well, we have one more day in Anchorage so we will be having breakfast there again tomorrow morning. read more

Stopped in to grab a sandwich not knowing they have some delicious Boba! I got a taro boba and it was creamy and delicious. I'm not a boba expert by any stretch but I have had some Taro boba elsewhere this one is maybe a bit on the sweeter side of what I have had before but super tasty. Lots of boba in the cup. The sandwich was a club. I mean, honestly it wasn't bad but it was a club sandwich. I had that and a bag of chips. Nicely toasted, seems like fresh toppings. What is important to point out that this is a tiny shop in Covid times and they are open. The lady taking my order was friendly, polite , and taking all the safeguards she can like masks and plexiglass dividers etc. to be open and safe for her and her community. Stop in and see them. Looks like they have all the typical small deli fare: sandwiches, soups, and of course, Boba! read more

Great place for a quick breakfast before the train to Denali! They are open early and just the right amount of food. Felt bad for the single person behind the counter making all the food and their credit card machine was down that morning. Service was good and the food was just what we needed. Highly recommend...and close to the Westmark if your on a HAL tour. read more

Funky little hole in the wall diner rather than deli. American breakfasts and a few lunches too. Had spring rolls or fresh rolls that were very good. Love has 3 tables inside and 3 out on the sidewalk on this quiet anchorage street. Right across from the quilted Raven. Site of the set up for the Iditarod in March. Right next door to octopus ink. The best food I had my entire stay in Anchorage, and the people were so kind! I plan to stop here every time I visit.

My friend and I ran into this place randomly on a Sunday morning (in Yelp, it said it was closed!!). We had a breakfast croissant sandwich and breakfast quesadilla and it was so yummy!!! The food feels home made, and the portions were generous. To top off, the two ladies who were working there were super friendly and nice! Originally we were going to go to the Snow City Cafe but that place was very crowded (30 min wait and it wasn't even 9am yet) and very pricey ($14 for breakfast burrito, which was what we wanted to have). Overall, we were really glad we decided to not go to Snow City Cafe and happened to find this gem. Def would go again if we ever revisit Anchorage!! read more
