I'm not exactly a Jersey Mikes regular so when I was asked at the vegetable toppings station if I wanted it Mikes way I had to do a bit of a double take and wonder who the heck is Mike, I'm the only customer here. Absolutely confused on the question I was informed that "Mike's way" means all the toppings. Apparently my husband likes his sandwiches Mike's way and I just like mine with tomato, lettuce and mayonnaise because I like to play it safe. With tip for two regular (sized) sandwiches, cookie, and brownie it was a little over $29. The sandwiches were good. I secretly liked that I got a little bit of someone's mustard from the communal sandwich knife and it made me think I should order my next sandwich to have a tangy little mustard to give my sandwich that little zing to take it to the next level. In store was clean, pretty empty, with what felt like a good but not overwhelming amount of options. The meat and cheese slicing sub maker had the personality of a piece of toast but the second sub maker at the vegetable station was warm and nice with a huge smile on her face. read more

Pickup line slammed with 10+ tickets. Main line 0 customers, why do I come in for my pickup and wait 5-10 minutes instead of the main line maybe helping out or just give them my ticket to make? Nobody came in for the main line but 4 customers sat waiting for pickup. read more

When they 1st opened in Wasilla, I ordered the #9 Club Supreme and the sandwich was fantastic! meats were abundant and was was fresh sliced, along with the cheese. Had it Mike's way with all the fresh vegitables, spices and sauce and absolutly delicious. I used to visit Subway all the time, but got tired of the pre-cut weighed, minimalistic approach to both meats and 1/2 slice cheese pieces. A far cry from all the pictures and commercials, so I quit visiting any subways. Then came Mike's and was so impressed that you could actual buy a sub that looked as good it tasted. After returning to Mike's over a dozen times, I went in to order my favorite sub and the new person constructing it, acted like she was a Subway employee. The total meat stack was only 1/4" thick with two thin pieces of cheese. I spoke up about the deficiencies which quickly turned into an argument, then the manager and 3 others joined in. Asked if she was a Subway employee because the sub looked like something I would get from Subway, got no response. They offered to tear the sandwich apart to add a little more meat and cheese. Jersey Mikes is a sub shop that we found traveling on the Southern East Coast and loved their subs filled with fresh ingredients at a reasonable price. Recently they opened shops in Eagle River and Wasilla. They have an excellent menu, made to your request, on fresh bread, delicious flavored meats, and fresh vegetables. You can also have them in a wrap or bowl as a salad. They have limited seating space and the bulk of their orders are carry-out or delivery. The service is fast. They have canned, bottled, and a dispensing machine for non-alcoholic drinks. I find Jersey Mikes and Fire House subs superior to the other chain sub-shops. I have supported Fire House Subs for a long time because of their support to First Responders and Firemen. I do want to say that we have many fine independent sub-shops in our area and I working my way through them all and will provide reviews on each. We are blessed to have so many fine eateries in the Wasilla Area. read more

I've worked at a New Jersey sub shop a life time ago, so I have some insight here. I was watching what was going on behind the counter and it was absolute chaos. I worked in a deli with 3 people that was 10 times as busy, they had 10 people behind the counter and it was SO unorganized. So it didn't suprise me that they forgot to make my order. After my husband had finished his hot meal I had to inquire about the status of my cold sub and they had simply forgotten about it. When I finally did get it, it was excellent. Easily the best sub I've had in the 15 years I've been in Alaska. But they really need some supervision. I'll definitely be back, because there is no question the staff know how to deliver a good product. read more

Does corporate know that this place basically closes a little after 8:00? They allow all of the bread to run out as the day is closing, and by about 8:20 or earlier they are putting all the chairs in the table and sweeping debris into the middle of the floor. I went in at 8:35 and all they had left were three mini rolls. This is probably the third time I've gone there and come out empty handed. I give up. Not trying again. read more

The food was really good! They were busy and got the line down fast. They are a lot more expensive than in Colorado where we are from and used to Jersey Mikes- but everything seems to be more expensive here... desserts were ok- but for us we skip them now and just get the sandwiches read more

The elderly man who just started working at the ER location is so rude. He yelled at both of my kids when they didn't order loud enough and then made a joke about us to a teenage employee while we were still standing there. This will be our last visit to this location. Finally, a decent sub shop in Alaska. Jersey Mikes has a great selection of subs, even though I always get the turkey and provolone. The staff are friendly, the orders don't take long, and the line moves quickly. It's always nice and clean as well; what more can you ask for at a sub shop? read more

Good cheesesteaks, but way way way expensive. Service is indifferent, due to the new factor that has everyone eating there. Bought lunch there on 5/18/24, and my 26 dollar cheese steak (full sized and double meat to split between two people) had a hair in it. Discovered at the last bite, of course. Jersey Mikes in Eagle River just opened... and the food I phenomenal! Eagle River has been lacking in fast food chains for a while now and this new addition is perfect for our small town. The customer service is great! All the workers are so friendly and will welcome you in with a smile! Compared to like the local subway is has a much better energy and vibe to it. Worst Jersey Mikes I've been to. Brand new, but the employees don't care at all. Food is trash.

The sandwiches are ridiculously expensive. This could be overlooked if the value was there. Unfortunately, I don't think two slices of meat on a mini sub is worth $8.99. The ingredients are good and fresh. Just wish there were more of them on my fresh baked roll! read more

The music was so loud we had to practically scream to place our order. None of the staff could hear anything we were saying so we had to keep repeating ourselves. Had one large sub, one mini and a kids meal. Came to $43. Asked for the large sub to be toasted and it wasn't. Asked for the kids sandwich to be cut and it wasn't. The root beer soda was empty.
