I've lived down the street for 5 years and every time I've ordered, I've regretted it. Always get the order wrong and missing items. Supposedly open till 1am but regularly closed by 10. I order on the app 80% of the time and also go through the drive-thru. My order is always correct and it's usually pretty fast even if the line is long, and my food is always still warm when I get home. The employees are always friendly and accommodating if I ask to change an order last minute. As the only Taco Bell in our area, we find that it's not bad at all...except when they run out of ground beef for the tacos. On this particular visit I was looking forward to my Mexican pizza. When I got home I was very disappointed to find that it was left out. I called the taco bell and thankfully get a rain check next time I am there. I find it quite sad that adding lettuce to something is 45 cents. What I don't understand is if I remove an ingredient I still get charged extra for a different ingredient. Shouldn't it cancel each other out? Especially when I'm trying to switch from nacho cheese to shredded cheese. I think this taco bell or any taco bell really, would get 4 stars if It wasn't for them trying to charge extra on everything. Called the manager and he informed me that if I wanted to drive back to the store, like it was my mistake, he could remake the food. I asked them to deliver it, since it was their mistake, but he couldn't do that. Even though the drive thru window says they offer DoorDash and GrubHub. However, in recent weeks, I have twice seen the dayshift manager go above and beyond to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere in his restaurant. The quality of this taco bell completely depends on who is working I've gone several times and had great experiences with food, orders, and service. Then I went today and I'm 80% sure two of the employees at the window were high as kites as they could not understand basic requests or answer even simple questions and were acting extremely sluggish and unresponsive and looking at me like I was speaking a different language and then not only did they get my order wrong they forgot the other half of it. I don't go to Eagle River often, but after several appointments there, stopped here for the drive thru. The staff were nice on speaker and seemed to understand that I can not have dairy, please make it "fresco" according to their menu which substitutes pico de gallo instead of cheese and sour cream. I took the order, got all the way home 25 minutes away, and it was covered in cheese and whatever so I can't eat it at all. Got my online order wrong. When I pushed back to get the rest of the items, I was told it wasn't on the screen. I gave my full name to have them check again. At that point someone else came out to confront me. I tried to use logic about three combos should have three drinks, it is in the online order. Again I was refused the rest of my items. As a former employee, now customer, the service here is understandable because of the area coach. He has no regard for the safety of his employees, and constantly puts there lives in danger. Something exploded inside the store and he still made them open that day, and the 2 employees STILL have hearing damage because of the loud boom that was made. There's no sugar coating Taco Bell. It is an option for late nights. When everything else is closed, ( minus the gas station option of frozen junk.) they have been closing way earlier than the signs and the illumination menu says they are. I usually have a decent experience at this Taco Bell, it is right across the street from my work and I come here at least once a week. Today I ordered a burrito and made some modifications to it. the modifications weren't done how I had asked and so I went back to have it corrected. they proceeded to correct it for me free of charge, they even double checked with me to verify what I wanted on my burrito. I received the remade burrito and left only to get back to my office to find they didn't remake it how I had explicitly told them too. it makes me think they went out of their way to make it wrong again because I had come back to get it corrected. very unfortunate as this establishments manager is a very genuine and amazing person, if only the staff could match his values. read more

This appears to be the place to work for the local High School kids. Every town has one. It's the local fast food establishment that draws crowds of teenagers during lunch time and later afternoon. It's nothing extraordinary as far as TBs go, but it's tasty and cheap. I typically go through the drive through, but when I've gone inside it's clean. The staff are nice, especially (who I assume to be) the manager. Recently, it seems like they may have gotten some new, young people because they don't seem completely knowledgeable or too used to working in "retail" situations. Still, if you're wanting Taco Bell and you're in ER, I recommend it.
