It's nothing extraordinary as far as TBs go, but it's tasty and cheap. I typically go through the drive through, but when I've gone inside it's clean. The staff are nice, especially (who I assume to be) the manager. Recently, it seems like they may have gotten some new, young people because they don't seem completely knowledgeable or too used to working in "retail" situations. Still, if you're wanting Taco Bell and you're in ER, I recommend it. The fact that they have the order ahead feature is super nice - even though a few times they just stared blankly at me when I came in and asked about my mobile order. read more

Not the best Taco Bell I've had, but certainly not the worst. The drive thru is usually backed up a few cars, and you will sit in line for about 10 minutes. The food is decent. They've messed up my order once in the many times i've been here, so their service is okay. Decent place! read more

The staff in here was very disrespectful when I had them fix an order that THEY messed up. I went through the drive thru and they didn't give me a part of my order. So I grabbed my receipt, walked inside, and asked the manager to fix it. When I was walking out, a group of young kids working there asked me how I got in if the doors are locked and I told them I simply opened the door and walked in. They tried to argue with me that the doors are locked and that customers are not to be in the lobby. Mind you, they were making these comments as I was trying to leave. Instead of letting me leave and checking the doors after I was gone, they felt the need to be smart with me. Then they went on to say "we'll just so you know for next time, no customers in the lobby". Well they certainly don't have to worry because there won't be a next time. I will not go back there because of this experience. Some of them were also not wearing masks inside the restaurant. Maybe that's why customers aren't supposed to be in there, because they aren't following the Covid guidelines??. For a fast food restaurant this one is awesome. The taco shells seem fresher than average and tacos seem stuffed. I have noticed that the fast food restaurants in ER are much better than the ones in Anchorage, at least this one is. I come here weekly for late night munchies and the kids definitely don't mind eating here. Not bad if you live out here as there are few options. read more

I am starting to feel like hope for having a decent fast food experience in Eagle River is quickly diminishing!! Between my visit to Arby's, McDonalds and this Taco Bell this week due to the fact that I was in town enjoying the Nature Center.....not one of my visits even came close to anything that resembled a satisfactory dining experience. The reason this Taco Bell is getting the review is because it was a epically tragic "monkey show"!! The service was absolutely horrid. The girl at the counter acted like it was more of a chore than her job to take our order. We waited 15 minutes with 3 people in the store. Apparently the drive-thru takes priority over a inside customer. When we finally received our food I had to return my Quesalupa because it not only arrived with steak when I ordered beef, but with sour cream which I asked to be without. I have frequented many Taco Bell locations and overall they tend to be fairly consistent, but this particular store needs a little more than a hope and a prayer because it is really in need of some new leadership!!! read more

This is the worst Taco Bell I have ever been in. Its dirty, slow and the "employees" are what I would call unclean at best. We waited for 20 minutes for our food since it was the dinner rush with three employees present. Of the employees that were present my wife actually witnessed on grab a handful of lettuce off the line with his bare hands and shove it directly into his mouth. All this while standing right behind the manager. We also saw the cashier throw a dirty rag over the heads of some customers seated in the center. Just left the Eagle River Taco Bell (around 1:15am) and holy cow ... Worst experience Ive ever had. The nacho fries were ice cold and when I went back through the drive through the kid gave me a new order saying they were fresh and they were ice cold too.... But that isnt the bad part .... I wrote off the fries and pulled into the lot to eat and when I opend my Nacho Belgrande (no beans) there was literally less than a table spoon of meat. I went BACK through the line and asked to speak to the manger. The young lady completely lost her mind at me.... She said and I quote ... "do you actually think I control the portion size around here?! Maybe you should complain to corporate! The owner lives in California or someplace!" .... I cant even believe it ... Not only is the owner a cheapskate, but the management is a complete dumpster fire. never going there again read more

So I've been going to this Bell for about nine years, and for about seven years or so I have been avoiding them. I go every once in a while because it's a small town and there's nothing else available after 1am. That I give them the benefit of the doubt, hoping they get better. But they never do. I think considering these circumstances one should hopefully find this review credible, at least as much as one can by reading a random review online. So I have had all sorts of bad experiences here. First thing I noticed was a drastic drop in food quality. Food started being served much, much colder. I've worked in the food industry and know for a fact that food I'm hold hold has to be at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit, but the food, eaten right out of the bag in the parking lot, was obviously much cooler, perhaps around 100 degrees, barely warm. Then the burritos got drastically smaller. I've been eating the Bell for years and no other Taco Bell does this. These things are ridiculously tiny. Then I had one guy giving me a hard time because I asked for a bean burrito, he didn't understand and kept thinking I was asking for a beef burrito. Miscommunications happen, fair enough. But then I clarified by asking for a bean and cheese burrito, to which he smart assingly asked "so JUST a bean and cheese burrito? Just beans and cheese? No sauce? No onion?". This led to me just driving though the line without making a purchase. Then tonight, I go and search for "Taco Bell Eagle River Alaska Hours", and I see that Thursday night's hours are listed as being open until 4am, the following morning, which would be Friday morning. So I show up at about 2:50 and place an order. Girl at the window seems nice. So I pull forward and pay her, as she's processing my payment, the young dude on the cook line is glaring over his shoulder at me like I've wronged him or something. Very off putting. The window is closed and the cashier lady and the line guy are briefly talking and when she comes back to the window she's telling "you know we close at 3am?", being that it was only about 2:55 at this time I'm confused. Are they not still within their hours? Their "drive through open" sign was on. They were taking orders still. So I don't quite understand why me being there during business hours is a problem. I just mentioned to her that I checked their hours online before showing up and they have their hours listed at being open until 4am. She didn't seem to really have a point to make other than mentioning their hours. Which leads me to believe that she didn't even want to mention that to me, but rather relayed information to me from the line cook who glared at me moments ago. Please not that I am a very well mannered person and very kind to people. I placed my order well within proper customer/seller protocol. I do not believe I caused any negative reactions other than showing up too close to closing time. I am giving up on this location. Hopefully they will shut down and Del Taco will come to town or something. I highly advise NOT going here if you can, if you really want the Bell, go to Muldoon, that location is much better. read more

Having only a few fast food places in the local area, I have to say how disgusted I am in the quality of food. I get it yeah it's taco bell, but this is low for even a taco bell. Soft tacos are hard and stale. Lettuce always looks like it has been sitting out for a day or two. The amount of meat in a taco is less than the amount of sauce you get in a packet. Crunchy tacos are always broken or soggy. 90% of the time the rice is borderline raw that it could chip your teeth. Usually the staff is pretty nice but save your money and your stomach fine something else to eat. I just recently got my order and came home, as I sit down to eat all I can say is I lost my appetite unwrapping my taco. The amount of time you think you save getting fast food is not worth the wait you will usually sit thru to get your food, just go home and make it. I'm not a health nut nor is this the first time eating from here, but it's been so bad overall every visit that I'm actually taking time to post for once. read more

This Taco Bell is ridiculous. Don't work here, don't eat here. The store manager is a sexist rude person. She is more worried about her drive times than the quality of the customer experience. I've watched her treat her staff like absolute garbage. There is no reason for the way she treats people. I know some of the employees and she will have them work 8 hours sometimes longer without any breaks , continuously yells and degrades her staff. She has one of the highest turnover rates for employees and she wonders why?? Maybe if she treated them with even a glimpse of respect they would stay. read more

Very disappointed...twice I have visited this establishment and the first time I ordered a flat bread chicken sandwhich and when I got ready to eat it I realized that it was ripped to sherds but by that time I had already driven off....Today I ordered an Xl Chupla and when I opened it I realized that it was beef not the steak that I had ordered and paid for...So I turned aroound and took it back then headed home which is about 10 min away...when I got home I was very displeased to find the unethical sloppiness that had been combined with the useless effort to correct the mistake...The Chupla was made with steak but it looked as though it had been setting out for like an hour and the toppings were lite as well as unevenly porportioned mainly to one side...with absolutely no sour cream on one side and just a clump on the other....I am really considering not eating at any other Taco Bell for the simple fact that the level of customer appreciation has totally and almost completely dimished....I love the food once...when it was made well and issued with a guarenteed smile...however it seems now that the smile given is more than a way to say "thank you for your money"...instead of "we appreciate your business" read more
