Y'know, it's weird. I LOVED fast food for the first 20 years of my life. Then a LOATHED fast food for the next 20 years of my life. Now, I guess I've gone full circle? I'm starting to be cheap and value my time more. I also have been getting up ever earlier to go into the mountains and climb. I've been eating a lot of fast food (from the drive thru) because of this...and I kinda like it! I now thinking hating on fast food is just a cloaked way to hate on low-income people. Anyway, I got a breakfast burrito and a breakfast grilled cheese. They came out extremely fast (less than a minute) and set me back $5. In this economy, what's not to love about that? read more

This place has a lot to improve on. First off all the food is always made sloppy, lacking and nothing, literally nothing like advertised. They're always screwing up orders when you ask for a double and get charged for a double, they give you a single. Never fails. When you ask for it to be made without something, like tomatoes, they make it with it anyways. They literally can never get orders right. Always mixing them up. It's kind of frustrating... if it was like every once a while, it wouldn't be a big deal but it's all the time. There's been times that I've driven all the way home until I find out their mistake and there's literally no way I'm gonna drive all the way back and wait in their long lines. And yes, their lines are horrendous. I've waited AFTER paying for over 20 minutes before. They even sent me to go park and then brought the food to me. The fries are almost always cold and taste stale. The environment is always dirty. The condiments, napkins, ketchup, lids, straws, etc. always empty or low. This has been going on for at least a year now. Always an issue And. Please tell me why the last year there's always a baby behind the counters?? Like 6-8 months ago (give or take) I saw a lady with a baby to her chest working in front or the deep fryers. I have imagined all of the dangers with a baby around the deep fryers and coughing, sneezing or spitting up into stuff. It kind of seems unsanitary when I asked about it, they said that it was the owners grandchild or something? Like...Why? What place does a newborn to infant have in the kitchen of Carl's Jr.? I was also told from a classmate who worked there right after high school at the owners are so rude. One day I actually ended up meeting the owner and she definitely rubbed me wrong right away. The food was decent but the restaurant was extremely dirty. Almost every table was dirty and the booths have a small channel in the back that collect stuff, they looked like they have not been cleaned in a long time. The number they give you so they could bring your food to you was filthy. There were employees that were just standing around talking that could have easily taken care of the entire dining room in about 10-15 mins but this is the culture we breed today. read more

I won't give them a one star because the employees were friendly and helpful and is the Carl's Jr I have visited. The restaurant is clean and efficient. It was lunch time with many families coming in but no line at the register. The delivered my order in record time. That's where things got less than great. They are a fast food restaurant but being quick is not the most important aspect of serving your customers. Food should be hot, reasonably close to the menu description and complete especially if you offer window service. First off my order had two errors with it. A milkshake that counter person asked if I wanted whip cream on it and entered it correctly but who ever drew the shake did not add whip cream. I told the employee that delivered my meal to the table and she very pleasantly and quickly corrected the error. Second I asked if they offered a military discount and he said yes. No military discount was entered on the order. Now for the food, the milkshake was flavorful and thick. Better than many I have had at a fast food outlet. But I order the Jalapeño 1/3 lb Thick Burger Combo and substituted the shake at added cost for the drink. The burgers was grayish brown and dry. It appeared as though it had been pre-cooked and set in a warmer for a long time. It also showed little sign of being warm but room temperature. It showed no sign of warm. It also was smaller than the pictured menu item and neared little resemblance to what I thought I was getting. I had to look to see if the jalapeño was used and it was but added absolutely no taste or heat to this sandwich. The rest of the condiments were adequate but nothing more. It was a normal order without upsizing. I expected the FFs to be small and they were very small and 1/3 were burnt small crisp sized pieces like from the bottom of a container. The remaining FFs were limp and cool. I rarely rate a restaurant this harshly but I call them like I see them. I intend to return only to make sure this was not just an unlucky day for them. read more

There's a reason this restaurant has less than 2 stars. I ordered 5 items and for some reason I only got 3, I'm not too mad about it since I only paid for the 3 items. The service was extremely slow, I was the only vehicle in the drive thru and there wasn't anyone inside the restaurant. The biscuit sandwich was extremely dry and cold. I would give this Carl's Jr 0 stars if I could. Management needs to overhaul the morning shift! read more

I've not had a horrible experience here. The staff doesn't much care about customers, but it's a temp job, not a career for them, I understand. My question is, does anybody at Carl's read these reviews? They are consistently poor. I was going to go to Carl's tonight, but after looking at these reviews it is clear that nobody there cares. From the moment you walk through the door and smell the sewer gases venting into the arctic entry you know your in for an experience... And yes, I'm being serious. It smells like how I would imagine an old pile of meat dropped into an outhouse would smell. (This fine feature is more on display in the winter months, but is noticeable year round...) This establishment is sadly dumping on an otherwise decent reputation for Carl's Jr. Consistently serve the wrong order. Average 20min wait time (For Fast Food!) Plenty of inept staff that treat you like a burden (I thought you wanted my money? That is how this works right?) Soda syrups are out every other time. Fried things are consistently soggy. Matter of fact, the only thing consistent about this place is their inconsistency. For the SAME PRICE OR CHEAPER you could order "to go" from Pete's bbq (next door) and get a vastly superior (hand made patty) burger and fries from a locally owned business. Pete's is attached to Tips which may steer some people clear... but what's worse? Being in close proximity to a dive bar? Or, having to smell death before you order your hastily prepared trash food? Idk where to begin. I think the breakfast sandwiches at this location are good. Shakes, (how can you mess those up?) are good too. The promotional burgers are sad. It's like they were prepared ahead or something. There were no juicy toppings and fat burger thickness we were anticipating. I was ashamed of my burger. The double kids hamburger is the best items on any Carl's Jr menu. Hands down. The promotional shakes are good but easy. How hard is it to crush up jolly ranchers, or cereal and put it in a vanilla shake? Not very. How about have a bunch of crushed items people can add in their shake of any flavor? read more

I love the restaurant chain and I keep trying this location on the extremely far off hope that it will be better than the last time. #1: the restaurant stinks from the first second you step in the door. I have sent several comments to the store manager and corporate over the last couple years but it has never gotten better. #2: just like the other reviews, the food temps are hit or miss. There is no way I would bring anyone else here. #3: the parking lot is a skating rink all winter long. I think I have slid in my truck and on foot every time I have visited. read more

On a Sunday morning, I ordered my meal with a coffee. I went over to the beverage section to make my coffee and its out. Then waited for 5-10mins trying to be patient and understanding that the employees might be overwhelmed. Other patrons that ordered coffee realize like me there wasnt any coffee to be had. Ao i bring it up to the window guy and he switches the coffee dispenser. Guess what, i realize that was empty also. Them everyone in the building realizes there wasn't any coffee made in the building. Finally, someone decided to brew some more coffee and us xoffee drinkers just waited, patiently. Awful experience again. I feel bad because the staff were trying. They were all very young, inexperienced, and no one I recognize from previous visits. 34 minutes from ordering i finally had the three meal order. Burgers were cold. They had no root beer and the sprite was mostly soda water. After I asked for the shake to be re-made a third time (it was like ice cream soup the first two times) and requested non chewy cold fries I looked at the burgers, none of which had the bacon I paid $1 each to add. They added cold bacon to burgers that were cold by then. If it had been hot, fresh and accurate I wouldn't have had an issue but it was cold, took 34 mins, they couldn't make a shake, soda was crap and didn't have any chicken at all all for $36! One star is because I staff seemed to try to get it right but didn't seem equipped. read more

I felt very bad for the one young lady who was trying to hold this place together. One lady working there was kind of wandering around and the two other staff seemed like they were still messed up from partying last night. One was dressed super sloppy and one was trying to make his Carl's Jr. uniform look gangster. Our food was not what we ordered. Chicken sandwiches were supposed to have lettuce and tomato, but they didn't and after the 15 minute wait, I didn't feel like going back in. The guys working on the food were arguing with each other and ignoring the one worker girl. The worker girl deserves an award for putting IP with the b.s. and still giving friendly, apologetic customer service. read more

My husband ate his western burger because he eats anything. The other food including the cold, hard fries went to waste. Then I called and told them the food was all cold and I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes in the drive thru for a refund. Spoke to 2 people claiming to be managers saying they would meet me outside and no one did. 30 minutes after calling I finally get to the window and am still waiting for my refund. The quality was never amazing, but it's really gone downhill over the years. The food is often cold, fries are stale, and the employees aren't always the kindest. The few times I've gotten food that wasn't cold, it didn't taste very good (kinda like cheap cafeteria food with no flavor). I ordered food for my boyfriend and I and when I got the food they shut the window and walked off first I realized none of the sauces I asked for was in there. I tired to get the teen boys attention that was at the window for my sauces and then after we drove off we realized a large onion rings was missing we ordered two. When I went to go bite into the onion rings we did get, they obviously had been sitting out for a while. They were hard and cold. This morning I visited this establishment and ordered the 2 for $4.00 Grilled Cheese Sausage Breakfast sandwiches. I was given a total price of over $8.00. When I asked if the sandwiches were still on sale I was told "yes, but we're not supposed to announce it." Although I got my order at the correct price I believe that I should not have had to ask in order to get the correct price. Bait and switch is probably illegal, and definitely unethical. Third time I've tried this place and it blows. Painfully slow service, cold burgers, and most of the kitchen staff appear to be mentally handicapped. Went earlier today through the drive thru to get ice cream but their machine was broken! My friend and I were so disappointed but we ended up ordering two cookies. The young man working went above and beyond and gave us SIX for free! He was so kind and 100% deserves a raise. He raised the bar for customer service in my eyes! Very inconsistent food quality...fries are typically lukewarm as is the burger. Hamburger tends to be dry and recently they changed their drink sizes...what was a small drink is now their medium size and a small size is equivalent to a kids meal size read more
