My momma and I came for Sunday brunch and there was wait even though they have the option to join the wait list but it's nothing like the Yelp wait list that lets you know your place in line and the time. So you have to go there and let the hostess know you're on the waiting list and the hostess will tell you how much time you have to wait for a table. The Biscuits a (B-)-- they are super dense- which isn't a bad thing unless they are served rock solid without enough gravy to balance it out. Since my last review, I was contacted by management, who did an excellent job rectifying the aforementioned situation. I was given the opportunity to try the French toast that they mistakenly neglected to give me on my previous visit and it was pretty good. It was fresh, which I appreciated. The brioche was a great choice for this dish. I really enjoyed it. 5 stars once again for the staff and management for taking customer service seriously. I was happy to make it over to this place again. I added myself to their waitlist via Yelp while I was on my way. So it didn't take too long. They seated me at the bar with a spot blocked off to keep things socially distanced. The service was nice and the kitchen was a little backed up but I think it took about 30 minutes to get my food and I was all done within an hour. The candied bacon is delicious. The French toast isn't any more special than what you make at home so I really recommend getting some kind of topping for it rather than the classic. I wanted to try their hollandaise sauce so I got it on the side with a poached egg and ate it with the bacon too. It was good, very tangy. All in all I enjoyed it very much! read more

We walked in and checked in. They told us they were gonna message us when our table was ready. We sat there and watched people walk in, get seated, and leave. While we were still waiting. We were told 15-20 minute wait, we were waiting for roughly an hour and a half. We had to ask to be seated and they still acted like they didn't know what was going on. We got 2 free appetizers but the food wasn't seasoned and it honestly wasn't that good. I had to ask for them to refill my water. Our waiter asked if we wanted a refill on our coffee, we said yes, and we never saw her after that. They only checked on us about 2 times while we were there. I do not recommend this place if you are like us and not from here. EDIT! Maybe instead of copying and pasting your message to 3 different people you could actually be a good business and take time to read through our complaints and try to make YOUR business better. Turns out you don't always get what you pay for. I am highly unimpressed. I ordered the "stuffed French toast". My French toast was "stuffed" with peaches and cream. The label "stuffed" is incredibly misleading considering that the peaches and cream cheese were just stacked between my slices of bread. Also, the peaches were canned and lacked flavor. My food wasn't hot like it had just came out of the kitchen. My food was bland, overpriced, and disappointing. The others in my group were also disappointed and unimpressed with their food. I do like that there is outside seating. Not a lot, but enough. It worked well for my family to hang out with my mom. The weather was was great. Service was good. Had to send a coffee mug back since it still had lipstick on it and a few plates for the appetizer that already had food on them. The food ordered was pretty good. The French toast bites were very sweet. Made me think of what Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal would taste like if it was actually French toast. I'd probably pass on that the next time. The vanilla coffee was good. A little sweet for my taste, but delicious any way. The chicken st Charles was excellent! I will be back for that. I also got a mixer (allows you to try two different benedicts) so the other half of my dish was the hot smoked salmon. The salmon was a bit dry for my taste. The sauce did help, but it wasn't a fav. Let's begin with the service. After checking in and being seated immediately, me and my partner waited over 15 minutes until we were greeted by our server. After getting in our drink orders, the service was smooth sailing. The wait time for our appetizers and entrees felt shorter than the wait time to get a drink order in. For that, I take away 2 stars. But wait, -2 stars? Sir, you have 4 stars, how is this so? Well I will tell you! The Sweet Heat Chicken and French Toast Bites were amazing. The chicken was fried to absolute perfection and complimented with the syrup elevated the dish to another level. Speaking of compliments, let's talk about those French Toast Bites. They were incredible; crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. That dish alone took my rating from 3 to 4. The ambiance was just as good as any brunch spots in the area, my only complaint would be the table feeling a little to small and being a little to close to other people. Another instance where I wish I could give a half star but oh well. We came in for the elite event today. I had intended to just do to go during the week but it didn't work out so I hauled my whole crew in. We used the wait list feature which was awesome because I just checked in and we only waited maybe 5 minutes to sit on a busy weekend. First suggestion, during Covid, have the check in process OUTSIDE. Other patrons did not observe any sort of social distancing in the entrance which was really irritating. If the check in was outside there would be more space to spread out. Our server was sweet and attentive. Our drinks came quickly and the coffee was French Truck, which my husband loves. However, the kitchen was so behind. It took 45 minutes to get our food. We saw lots of other people in the same situation so it wasn't just us. Most of it was excellent. I got the tacos and I feel like a better tortilla would make this an awesome dish. Also, the black beans and rice that came on the side were perhaps the blandest thing I have ever tasted. The tacos themselves were delicious. My kids got the typical pancakes and fried chicken that kids always order. And aside from my 3 year old who subsides on snack foods, they devoured it. Husband got a Spanish omelette and was really excited about the biscuit. We sat by the side door and saw lots of people confused about where the entrance was, not sure if there was a sign or not. It also made it really cold with all the in and out traffic there. Almost no other customer wore a mask when using the facilities. I know people forget, but I've never seen it so bad in a restaurant. Let me start off by saying that this location was a huge disappointment, and I hardly ever leave a bad review... We were on the waitlist for a party of 5 (4 adults + 1 high chair). The hostess told us that our table was ready twice, and each time she sent us back to the waiting area because the staff just couldn't get it right. Thankfully when we were finally sat, our server was quick to get our drinks and then took our order within the next 10 minutes. It was busy, but we weren't expecting our food to take THAT long. Well, we ended up waiting an entire hour for our food to come out when all we had was 3 orders of egg bennies and a burger. The people next to us who got there after us even got their food first. Ridiculous! And when it came out, one of the eggs bennies were wrong, but we were so hungry and upset that we honestly didn't want to deal with it or give our server any problems. To top it all off, the eggs were all overcooked, basically like hard boiled eggs. The hollandaise sauce was way too cheesy and needs work. There's not much else to say about this ruby slipper location except it needs work. The hostesses need better training as well as the kitchen staff, because you can't keep seating people when there's no table to sit at, and you can't mess up a poached egg on every eggs benedict dish. I ordered take out today - walked in on a very busy Saturday morning- went straight to the bar and placed my order for the breakfast veggie tacos. Charlie, whom always seems to be a fixture there took my order. She is very good at her job so if she takes your order please reward her. While waiting for my to go order I had a cup of coffee. Their coffee gets a 10 on my scale of great coffee in our area. Far better that coffee served at another popular breakfast place. The breakfast veggie tacos are absolutely amazing- filled with flavor and really takes care of that morning tummy yelling at you. I have been here a few times. I think it used to be a good place because it came recommended by a co-worker but I found out later she hadn't been there before. The biscuits are supposed to be renowned for, but they've always been a little too hard. I think they could also need more servers. It's difficult to both get and keep a hot cup of coffee on the table, and I think the hostess could be a little more pleasant and accommodating. The tables are right on top of each other and it's loud. I can hear everyone's conversation. The ruby slipper was delicious! We were looking for a good breakfast spot, and we now have a favorite. It is located in the Trader Joe's parking lot, so there is a good amount of parking. We were seated right away, we got there around 11:30 on a Thursday. We had to wait a little while for our food because they got our French toast wrong but it wasn't too bad. They had great music playing and very friendly staff. My husband ordered strawberry stuffed French toast, it was so delicious ! I ordered the peacemaker Benedict with the salmon and shrimp boogaloo. I definitely favored the salmon Benedict as my waitress said I would. It was missing the capers which I was looking forward too. Otherwise it was perfect. The shrimp boogaloo was good, but I felt like my fried green tomato was too firm. If I could give no stars I would. We had a party of six and waited 45 minutes for a table (understandably). However our drinks (water, coffee, apple juice and a mocktail) came in wave in a span of 20 minutes. THEN the server took our order. Once the food was ordered we waited 30 minutes while tables that were sat after us got their appetizers and entrees. We could see the kitchen window. When I got up to speak with the manager, I could see our order and the server leaned against the kitchen manager talking. When she notice I was talking with the other manager she grabbed our food from the window. How do I know , because as we walked out she was walked to our table to deliver the (presumably cold) food.
