Menu

This is a new place in Denham. It's very nicely decorated, with an open kitchen. Staff is very friendly. Menu is on a chalk board to the left when you walk in. You order at the counter, seat yourself and they bring your food to you. I went for breakfast and with high hopes. Honestly, I was t a fan of their coffee, and the fact that eggs are only offered scrambled or as an omelette. The scrambled eggs seemed more like the liquid eggs. Not a fan. The frites were very tasty but thick. Biscuit was huge. Sausage was cut into squares and very thin. We went back for lunch and I ordered the filet sandwich. It's massive with lots of tender filet and sauce! Very tasty but more than I could eat.

Not going to lie. I was expecting more from this place. For me it was meh at best. The food was just ok. The servers were nice but it's more of a buffet and seat style of dinning. The restaurant itself is an old build or hold house converted into a restaurant. They have an open concept which is cool but the down side is you get the heat from the kitchen flowing into the dinning area. It was hot for breakfast so I couldn't image what lunch is like. Once again, I was just expecting more.

Huge and delicious true cinnamon roll. Plenty of cinnamon with excellent dough. Not overly sweet nor the icing. Really great

Not much of a variety in food. I'm trying to stay away from Pasta and Bread but that's just about all they served. Food was good but my pasta was not even warm. Cooled down too much before I received it or I'm sure it would have been better.

I really wanted to love this place because I've heard rave reviews on other social media platforms about it but it fell short for me unfortunately. My bf and I went at 9 on Sunday morning for breakfast. We pulled in right when they opened so luckily we missed the rush that came in later. We both got the breakfast buffet. They do have a variety of foods you can choose from and you can still get an omelet made of your choosing as well as waffles. I tried a little bit of everything including the eggs, sausage, bacon, crawfish pasta, biscuits, home fries, sausage gravy, an omelet and the peach pancakes. The eggs were bland, sausage gravy didn't have enough sausage IMO, the crawfish pasta was ok, the biscuits were ok. The omelet I got was not what I chose and instead was a mixture of my bf's order and mine. The peach waffle was probably the best thing I tried. The staff was very welcoming but we also only got checked on once during our meal. We did like the decor and the table markers were a cute add on. I think it's a nice addition to the breakfast scene in Denham but I think that will be our only visit there.

The breakfast plate.

Good was large portions with a great taste. Staff were extremely helpful on making a food selection. Has a very home town feel. Very clean and charming. Been here a few times now and I keep finding new favorite selections. My only negative is that they are not open during weekend hours. They close to spend time with family which is an excellent reason that I applaud them for. Family is so important and we should spend as much time with them as possible.

Busy Sunday morning. Parking limited. Very pleasant staff. 10' gathering area at entrance to order or pick up order. You order, get your table card and a cup, if you paid for one, get your drink and find a seat. We had the breakfast burrito and breakfast plate with bacon and regular grits and coffee. The burrito was room temperature, almost cold. Good amount of protein in it though. The biscuit was the best part. Coffee tasted burnt. The disposable coffee cups had no sleeve so I used a napkin as a makeshift saucer and held the cup rim so I could walk to a table. This place has lots of potential. Only a single door to enter and exit. Secondary door at side front was locked with a chair in front. Good addition to Denham.

We arrived at 8:00 AM on Thursday and was surprised to find this restaurant was nearly empty with only a few locals having coffee and engaged in a conversation at the bar. The friendly staff greeted us and we seated ourselves at a high-top near the front windows, we both ordered their freshly brewed iced tea while browsing the menu. We wanted to eat and run so we both ordered pancakes and I got a side of bacon - the pancakes were just okay and the bacon unfortunately was cold like it could of been sitting for awhile but it is what it is and we were in and out quickly and our server Whitney brought us each a iced tea to go which was very nice. Nothing bad here but also nothing memorable except how empty the place was at breakfast time in an area that was busy. The restaurant is located on the end of a strip mall a little off the beaten path so that may explain it, we probably wouldn't return just based on the food quality...

I have been here several times and it is one of my favorite restaurants in Baton Rouge for great flavorful food. The food was amazing and great. For an appetizer, I had a dozen of their chargrilled oysters. You can see the smoke and smell them cooking them on the way in. They have this amazing butter sauce packed with tons of flavor and it is served with their French bread to soak up that butter! Some other appetizers we got were their fried eggplant with marinara sauce and their buffalo wings which are so good. For my main entree, I got their blackened shrimp pasta which was seasoned well and came with garlic bread. My twin got their hamburger steak and it was delicious. Some drinks I got for the night were their old fashioned and their Long Island iced tea. The ambiance is nice and perfect for a family outing or to celebrate graduation in my case. This will always be a restaurant I will coming back to. The service was great and Chance was amazing the entire time accommodating our large party! Thanks so much.

Per the business, the communication stopped. I have my emails showing my consistent effort in trying to confirm my order. Even more disappointing to find out Paige was a previous student of mine. Thank you Oak Point in Watson for going out of your way and making a cake for my son's graduation. Again- customer service is huge! Obviously- if asked I will not recommend Paige's Pantry.
