Super nice owners, cute dining room, and delicious food! This was our first time eating here, and we will be back! Pretty busy, but well managed. I had the Fire Ranch Grilled Shrimp Wrap with a spinach tortilla and it was one of the best wraps I ever had-maybe needed just a tiny bit more bacon We also had the patty melt-juicy burger and yummy sandwich! And, the meatball sub was great-great bread choice! And, a regular order of thin cut steak fries which were done just right!

Came here for the LunchBox Comedy show and dinner; it did not disappoint at all. I had the 3 flight egg roll (Monte cristo, crawfish ettouffee, pizza) with CHEEZE FRIES, classic burger, and a Pesto club. Overall it was good and I suggest giving this place a shot! #lamchoponthegeaux #prairievillelouisiana #south73lunchroom #lunchboxcomedy

Listen, the bacon cheese fries, ARE AMAZING- and I'm not your everyday basic white girl that always orders the same 3 things no matter where I go. I eat more than just cheese fries, chicken tenders and ranch okay? BUT THESE FRIES ARE PERFECT. They, like, literally don't even need ranch (yes I said that like a valley girl would). Other than the most beautiful fries I've ever seen, the food in general is always great! This is a must have for lunch whenever I can !

This place is so cute and the staff were very friendly. We went for lunch on a whim. It is located in a small strip mall and is easy to miss if you are not looking for it. The menu is small. Burgers, sandwiches, salads. I went for the chili cheese fries! I know, so bad for me. But they were soooooo good. Thin potato strips covered with chili and cheese. They were just what I needed on a cold November afternoon. Prices were reasonable and service was pretty fast. Definitely coming back again.

YALL I AM IN LOVE. I'll paint you a picture: situated in the middle of a nice shopping center/strip mall, South 73 Lunchroom brings something deeply needed to Dutchtown! It has food to feed your stomach and heart, but it's not "soul food." You walk in and are warmly greeted, order at the counter (good luck choosing: menu is diverse enough for everyone) and are given a number. Then, you fill your drink and grab your own rolled up silverware, and select a table. While it's a small space, it's not tight. Thank you, Jill and Brandon, for keeping it comfortable! Then, your number is called, and you get the really, really good stuff. (If you've read my other reviews, you know I'm picky. Five stars doesn't happen often. You have to hit your target demographic perfectly, and that's what they do here.) Pick up your food at the window, say hi to Jill and Brandon, and get ready to do your happy food dance. (That's not just me, right?) Our Food: my friend and I got the fried ravioli, something I've missed since Deangelo's closed. While it's not the same, it's a damn good replacement! The cheese is different, and the marinara has a tang that I loved. My friend got the Sensation Salad with chicken. She ordered a small, but it was perfect for lunch. The chicken was grilled and seasoned well, and that dressing: YUM. Parmesan, garlic, lemon, olive oil, and something amazing I don't know. I had the spicy shrimp burrito, add avocado. Oh my friends, it was SO delicious. It has the right amount of spice to let you know it was there, but not to overwhelm the flavors. Jill even paused in her busy kitchen to peek out and ask how everything was! But. Who are Jill and Brandon? The owners, the cooks, the servers, you name it, they do it. I love supporting local, and it doesn't get any more local. They support the local schools by cooking for teachers, they host great events for their customers, and they live and love their family here in Dutchtown. These are good people who happen to cook amazing food at amazing prices. I wish I hadn't waited so long to check it out. This is the perfect local spot, and I'll definitely be back!

Everything we ate was really good. Service was excellent. We had the cheese fries, Buffalo egg rolls, ravioli, burgers, Cesar wrap, onion rings and the porch chop sandwich special.

Honestly I would vote this place best burgers in Ascension Parish! They also have aging sides and everything is made fresh!

Great lunch spot, even though the menu is small it was so hard to choose because everything sounded so good.

They don't have a drive-through so I had to go inside. Being brand new, everything was nice and clean, but I was surprised that they didn't have more patrons. It was pretty obvious that the staff was not totally up to speed just yet; the light kitchen staff looked busy:, on the order side of the counter there were four or five employees standing around doing nothing; two ladies on the pick up side handled my entire order. The lady tried hard to make a milkshake for me, and it did taste good, but it was very thin. The burger was very good, but the Cajun fries were over seasoned (which is saying a lot, since I grew up around here and like things really spiced up) and soggy. I ate about half the fries, and after finishing the burger, it felt very heavy in my belly all night long. Maybe in a couple months I'll give them another try, but I'll be sure to tell them to make the fries extra crispy. I gave them one extra star for not using Styrofoam.
