Excited to have this new Philly Cheesesteak restaurant in DS! They have a great variety of cheesesteak options available in small and regular sizes. We tried the regular size Cajun cheesesteak. Excellent! Loved the sweet potato tots! Friendly staff with a casual ambiance. Go give it try!

A good stop for those who like Philly cheese steaks in Denham Springs. It isn't the best ever but it is exactly what we expected having been to the BR location. We tried the shroom and the hoagie. Both were decent; could improve on cheese quality, but that is personal preference. We got regular fries and Philly fries; both of these were good. The staff is friendly and the environment is clean and welcoming. If you want a Philly and are in Denham, definitely give this place a try!

This place rocks. Best "made to order" (cooked fresh) sandwiches around. And they named a sandwich/hoagie/sub/hero (whatever you call them). After my Hometown of STATEN ISLAND. AND THIS HERO/U. Rocks

The tiny, dry, empty sandwich was the original Philly. The yummy looking one had cheesesteak, shrimp & chicken. Choose wisely.

The classic cheesesteak I ordered was great. Just like the original location. Happy to see a location closer to home.

I went for the lunch buffet for $13.99 and feel like the BR location def has more options than the NOLA location (I haven't been to that spot in over a year though). There are some seafood options during lunch (salt and pepper crab, salmon, assortment of fish, and mussels) but if you want a wider variety, dinner is the way to go. I didn't try the sushi because the majority of them were always wiped out but the chefs in the back were doing their best to replenish whenever they could. Nothing to extraordinary with the sushi, I feel like you could get most of em at the grocery store. My favs at lunch were hands down the salmon and the baked mussels w cheese on top. The salmon was SEASONED SO WELL and I just kept going back for more. The mussels and cheese was def a hit too bc I could see the chefs restock every so often. There's unlimited boba (not included in the buffet) and I had the mango, which tasted watered down to me. The ice cream was amazing, got a mix of the taro and mango. The cakes were extremely dry and the mousse was the only thing saving it from totally crumbling in my mouth. For the most part, the food was piping hot, but there were a few options that were cold when I ate them, hence the 4 stars. The staff were incredibly sweet and would clean tables immediately after someone would leave.

A Brand Slowing Dying... I'm DONE…read more I will NEVER dine at another Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux. Another dining experience that was below acceptable standards. The last time I dined at a Walk-On's Bistreaux was on Friday May 13, 2022, at the Town Center location in Baton Rouge. After an extremely bad and poorly handled customer service experience, I vowed to NEVER dine at Walk-On's again. Going against my better judgment, my wife and I decided to give the Denham Springs location a try. We arrived around 8:45 PM, The restaurant was not busy, and we were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated in the bar area. Our server was prompt, friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, and presented herself in a professional manner. We started with the Boom Boom Shrimp which is fried shrimp with boom boom sauce. There were plenty of medium sized shrimps perfectly fried but lacked seasoning and flavor. Even the boom boom sauce was bland. For our entrees, we each ordered the Catfish Orleans; one with blackened catfish fillets and one with fried catfish fillets served over white rice, topped with crawfish étouffée and hand-battered shrimp. I was expecting some good hot authentic Louisiana blackened and fried catfish and etouffee, instead we served lukewarm dishes that lacked flavor. The entrees did not have enough rice to complement the amount of etouffee sauce that covered the plate. The fish and fried shrimp tasted ok, crawfish etouffee was NOT good and did NOT look or taste like a Louisiana crawfish etouffee. It was bland, flavorless, and only had three extremely small pieces of crawfish. The entire dish was below average and did not come across as a Louisiana favorite. When our food arrived delivered by a female employee who seemed to a member of management, I asked for some hot sauce. She brought us two nearly empty very UNSIGHTLY, non-eye appealing bottles of Tabasco sauce and stated, "I hope this is enough". How there you insult our intelligence and why would you serve that to paying guests dining in your restaurant? Those bottles should have been trashed and NEVER been in circulation. (See photos). My wife also had the Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae which she said was hot and very good. After eating, I decided to visit the men's restroom. It was very dirty, disgusting, and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned all night. (See photos). I wanted to throw up after seeing the restroom and realizing I had just eaten in this restaurant. If I had visited the restroom before ordering and eating, I would have left immediately. In my opinion, a dirty restroom is a direct reflection of poor management and a relaxed staff with little to no standards. I don't mind paying for a good meal and a good dining experience, but this mediocre at best experience was NOT worth the $80 plus we spent. The food was NOT good, and the service was slow considering the restaurant was not busy. Very disappointed and a missed opportunity by leadership to win me back as guest. A friend suggested that I go to Firehouse as the Grinder was a copy cat of their sandwich. Lucky for me, there was one near by. I went on. Friday afternoon and they were rocking and rolling. There was a line of 5 ppl before me and all the tables were pretty much filled. The lady at the register was so inviting. She never made anyone feel rushed even the lady that shared it was her first time there. Little did she know it was mine too but I had did a lil research before I went. I ordered the Hero sub with extra Mayo and I made it a meal by adding a cookie and a drink. When I got home and hit into that sandwich I was like wow. Mind you before this SM trend I was NOT a sandwich person at all. But FH subs has changed my mind. To add a lil cherry on top the confetti cookie was soooooi good. Per the lady at the counter they bake the cookies fresh daily. I went back on Sunday and got the same mea. They are a little pricy for the medium sandwich with cookie and a drink and an extra cookie it was $14.12 but it was worth it
