Second time trying this place and it did not disappoint! I got the griddle stack breakfast combo which has 2 pancakes, eggs, and choice of meat. I got bacon and always have to add a side of their creamy cheese grits. Service was great! Wait time isn't bad to say everything is freshly made to order. It's a very quaint restaurant where you can study, socialize, and more.

Service : The server was very helpful when ordering. However, this is not a regular dine in restaurant (self seating) You order at the counter & your name is called once your food is ready. Food : Me and my partner ordered the griddle stack, not the best. The grits and eggs were amazing, however the sausage tasted frozen, bacon was too greasy. The biggest complaint is the pancakes, which they are known for. They were super doughy, too thick (could barely eat half of one) and lacked flavor. Side note : For both meals (griddle stacks), added grits, and an orange juice came to around $35 (43 ish with tip) Not worth it in my opinion Ambiance: It's okay for what it is, but I won't be visiting again.

Last week my husband told me about this spot & I was excited to try it out in the future. I'm home sick today & he thought this would be the perfect remedy. It did take a while according to him but everything was still hot by the time I got it. I had the griddle cakes and grits, eggs and sausage (not pictured bc I devoured them lol) The pancakes were so fluffy and delicious. The eggs were just eggs & the sausage was flavorful. My husband said although the omelette wasn't the most visually appealing it was soooo good. Next time I'd like to dine in to see how customer service is & try an omelette. One other observation is they are a little pricey but the food is worth it.

Service was great. Inside was clean. Food was hot and delicious. Pancakes were amazing! The eggs in the omelet could have been more fluffy.

My family and I visited on a Friday around noon. The spot is cute and cozy. Everything is cooked to order so be prepared to wait a little while. We ordered the chicken and waffles, 2 cozy plates with grits, eggs, bacon, and biscuits, a side of French Toast, and a side of pancakes. It took about 30 minutes. We enjoyed our food. The grits had a nice smooth, creamy texture. The pancakes were thick and fluffy. The French Toast was delicious. My daughter enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The chicken was crispy and nicely seasoned. I'd definitely recommend this spot.

It's a fairly new establishment. The line was long and I waited about an hour for my food. The food is cooked to order so be prepared to wait. The grits were very creamy and buttery I just had to add some salt and pepper. The pancakes fluffy on one side but they were good. I just couldn't cut into them maybe because they were left on the other side too long. Over all it' was nice and clean and I'll give them another try after they settle in.

I wanted to get breakfast and I remember seeing a sign, so I looked it up because I was curious. It was busy when I came in but the customer service was still amazing and they were patient with me and I didn't feel rushed to make a choice. You definitely should have patience here. I believe everything is cooked to order which is fine you know your food will be fresh and hot. I was able to snag a seat and work while I waited. When I got my food at first I was like I should have ordered something else I don't think this will fill me up but shockingly I was wrong! The grits were creamy and the shrimp were juicy and I love that sauce. I cleaned my bowl and I was stuffed and needed a little nap when I was done. I will definitely come back to try different items on the menu!

Very good food! We had the Cozy Breakfast and the Garden Patch Omelet. The hash browns were extra tasty. Nice, easy music and a neighborhood diner feel to it. HOWEVER, they need decaf coffee as an option. All in all, a great addition to the neighborhood breakfast restaurants

Tried a new spot this am. It's the Cozy Griddle on Coursey Blvd. Very good. The potatoes were A+. Very well seasoned. Taste like I would make in a cast iron skillet with onions and peppers. That Bread deserves credit too though. Seriously, fluffy and sweet tasting. I want to go back and try their French toast. With that bread I bet it's amazing. Lady taking order was super sweet

I had a personal vegetarian pizza and hubs had eggplant parm. Prices are very reasonable. I love their food and waitstaff is excellent- the 20 and 30 minute wait times not so much. Even the bar was SRO. It is a testament to their quality that it takes an act of DOG to get seated quickly. (I'm usually hangry when I get off work.I want to getting fed in 20 or 30 minutes, not just be seated and they don't take reservations. That being said, if you don't mind the wait, the food is always fresh, made to order. The quality is consistent and they are now even open limited hours on Sunday which is a nice brunch alternative. I am really happy for their success. It is well deserved. If you aren't in a hurry, you won't be disappointed!

To find out there was a location that opened nearer to home was so exciting. It had been wayyyy too long since I had one of the burgers and I absolutely love a good burger. If I was basing this review alone on the burger and the service, it would be a 5 star review. However, I also had the fries as it comes with the meal. I don't think you can just order a burger. However, you do have the option of onion rings or a side salad for an alternative side option, which is nice. I love a good order of fries, which was my side choice. I mentioned good fries, because these were forgettable. They weren't the worst that I've ever had, and if you like frozen seasoned fries you might like them more than me. I found them on the dry side. I may have liked them more if they were served with sauce other than ketchup. The burger did not disappoint. It's much bigger than what you get a most places. The patty was simply seasoned with what I think was salt and pepper, which really allowed the freshness to shine through and allowed the other burger ingredients to stand out. I would put this up against any of the other top burger places in BR, and the value exceeds any of them I am sure. I look forward to going back soon--perhaps I will like the loaded fries better.

Today, my wife and I opted to give this location a try. We arrived around 7:00 PM and decided to dine in. The dining room was very clean, and there were several other customers waiting on their orders. After placing our order at the counter, we grabbed a seat and waited about 10 minutes for our food to be ready. We each ordered the shrimp burger, which is a 1/2 lb. burger with shrimp, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, ketchup, onions, pepper jack cheese, and served with fries or onion rings and a drink for $13.99 each with .75 up charge for the onion rings. I really wish there were a la carte pricing where I could just order a burger rather than being forced to purchase a combo meal. The burger was average, nothing to write home about and it did not taste like the burger I used to get from Roul's back in the days. The burger bun was soft and fresh, but very greasy. The burger patty did not taste fresh, it was dry, over cooked, and lacked flavor. There were only three or four shrimps on the burger, and the burger was topped with very little lettuce and other fresh condiments. I couldn't even taste the onions, tomatoes, and pickles. I personally like a lot of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on my burger to enhance the overall burger taste and experience. Both the fries and onion rings were plentiful, hot and golden brown, but like the burger they lacked seasoning and flavor. Also, the onion rings were cooked from frozen and made fresh. I remember Roul's having the best seasoned fries and seasoned burger patties and that's what drove me to enjoy dining at Roul's Deli, but not today. There's room for improvement.
