Second time trying this place and it did not disappoint! I got the griddle stack breakfast combo which has 2 pancakes, eggs, and choice of meat. I got bacon and always have to add a side of their creamy cheese grits. Service was great! Wait time isn't bad to say everything is freshly made to order. It's a very quaint restaurant where you can study, socialize, and more.

Service : The server was very helpful when ordering. However, this is not a regular dine in restaurant (self seating) You order at the counter & your name is called once your food is ready. Food : Me and my partner ordered the griddle stack, not the best. The grits and eggs were amazing, however the sausage tasted frozen, bacon was too greasy. The biggest complaint is the pancakes, which they are known for. They were super doughy, too thick (could barely eat half of one) and lacked flavor. Side note : For both meals (griddle stacks), added grits, and an orange juice came to around $35 (43 ish with tip) Not worth it in my opinion Ambiance: It's okay for what it is, but I won't be visiting again.

Last week my husband told me about this spot & I was excited to try it out in the future. I'm home sick today & he thought this would be the perfect remedy. It did take a while according to him but everything was still hot by the time I got it. I had the griddle cakes and grits, eggs and sausage (not pictured bc I devoured them lol) The pancakes were so fluffy and delicious. The eggs were just eggs & the sausage was flavorful. My husband said although the omelette wasn't the most visually appealing it was soooo good. Next time I'd like to dine in to see how customer service is & try an omelette. One other observation is they are a little pricey but the food is worth it.

My family and I visited on a Friday around noon. The spot is cute and cozy. Everything is cooked to order so be prepared to wait a little while. We ordered the chicken and waffles, 2 cozy plates with grits, eggs, bacon, and biscuits, a side of French Toast, and a side of pancakes. It took about 30 minutes. We enjoyed our food. The grits had a nice smooth, creamy texture. The pancakes were thick and fluffy. The French Toast was delicious. My daughter enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The chicken was crispy and nicely seasoned. I'd definitely recommend this spot.

It's a fairly new establishment. The line was long and I waited about an hour for my food. The food is cooked to order so be prepared to wait. The grits were very creamy and buttery I just had to add some salt and pepper. The pancakes fluffy on one side but they were good. I just couldn't cut into them maybe because they were left on the other side too long. Over all it' was nice and clean and I'll give them another try after they settle in.

I wanted to get breakfast and I remember seeing a sign, so I looked it up because I was curious. It was busy when I came in but the customer service was still amazing and they were patient with me and I didn't feel rushed to make a choice. You definitely should have patience here. I believe everything is cooked to order which is fine you know your food will be fresh and hot. I was able to snag a seat and work while I waited. When I got my food at first I was like I should have ordered something else I don't think this will fill me up but shockingly I was wrong! The grits were creamy and the shrimp were juicy and I love that sauce. I cleaned my bowl and I was stuffed and needed a little nap when I was done. I will definitely come back to try different items on the menu!

Very good food! We had the Cozy Breakfast and the Garden Patch Omelet. The hash browns were extra tasty. Nice, easy music and a neighborhood diner feel to it. HOWEVER, they need decaf coffee as an option. All in all, a great addition to the neighborhood breakfast restaurants

Tried a new spot this am. It's the Cozy Griddle on Coursey Blvd. Very good. The potatoes were A+. Very well seasoned. Taste like I would make in a cast iron skillet with onions and peppers. That Bread deserves credit too though. Seriously, fluffy and sweet tasting. I want to go back and try their French toast. With that bread I bet it's amazing. Lady taking order was super sweet

I have been here several times and it is one of my favorite restaurants in Baton Rouge for great flavorful food. The food was amazing and great. For an appetizer, I had a dozen of their chargrilled oysters. You can see the smoke and smell them cooking them on the way in. They have this amazing butter sauce packed with tons of flavor and it is served with their French bread to soak up that butter! Some other appetizers we got were their fried eggplant with marinara sauce and their buffalo wings which are so good. For my main entree, I got their blackened shrimp pasta which was seasoned well and came with garlic bread. My twin got their hamburger steak and it was delicious. Some drinks I got for the night were their old fashioned and their Long Island iced tea. The ambiance is nice and perfect for a family outing or to celebrate graduation in my case. This will always be a restaurant I will coming back to. The service was great and Chance was amazing the entire time accommodating our large party! Thanks so much.

First things, it had at least two. an accessible parking areas for my daughters power chair access. Awesome. And the waitstaff were so pleasant to deal with. First fish, shrimp tacos. I have to admit I was skeptical but CC nailed it. Three generous soft shelled tortillas with 4+ shrimp, multi colored bells, salad, etc. were delicious. I was even more skeptical of the sweetened/spicy syrup that came with them but whoa, perfect combo on the tacos. The side was yellow rice with black beans and pico. Decent. Second dish, Epplant Supreme. Breaded, baked eggplant with well spice shrimp over a bed of thin pasta. Piece of buttered bread and a small side salad. My daughter loved it. I tried one of the shrimp and it was really good. Overall 4/5, edging towards a 5. Well pleased with the dinner and the price.

I'm pretty sure the baristas remember my order better than I do. Here's what makes Reve worth the visit: - The coffee is legitimately phenomenal. They're all about quality over quantity, using science-based brewing and traditional standards to craft coffee that actually tastes like they care. Because they do. If instant gratification is your thing, Starbucks is down the street. If you want good coffee, you're in the right place. - The baristas actually know their stuff. Treat them like the humans they are, and you'll have a genuinely great interaction. - The vibe hits different. It's cozy and intimate inside (compact in the best way), but if the weather's nice, the patio is where it's at--plenty of space, zero stress. Work, study, hang out with friends--it all just works here. If you care about good coffee, good people, and a space that actually feels like somewhere you'd want to be, Reve Coffee Lab is your spot.

The redfish was flaky, fresh, and beautifully seasoned with a proper blackened crust. It was absolutely drenched in a rich lemon butter sauce that tied everything together perfectly. The restaurant was PACKED when I arrived around noon on a Tuesday, which I later learned was likely because they were serving birria tacos that day. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of crowded restaurants, but honestly, the amount of traffic speaks for itself. People clearly come here because the food is worth it. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and the restaurant itself was clean... floors, tables, everything looked well maintained despite how busy it was. Service was excellent. My server was attentive without hovering, efficient without making me feel rushed, and my food came out surprisingly fast considering how busy the restaurant was. Drinks were handled well too ...bottled sodas available, and free refills on tea and lemonade. Next time, I'd probably come a little earlier in the day to avoid the lunch rush, but I would absolutely order this meal again.
