I haven't been here in a while but this was always my spot to get wings back in the beginning years of their opening. I stopped going because of the major jump in price of the food especially the wings but they are not a big chain so I get it. Things are served à la carte here but on my last visit I got wings and fries. They charge 50 cents to put Tony's on top and call it spicy fries. Hard pass. The wings were good but not enough to stand out on the price point. I would say don't knock it til you try it though. Burgers also seem to be a hit here. The menu is massive. Large menu with small print. We ordered the spicy meat lovers burger and it was so good. Didn't read about it prior to ordering and was deliciously surprised when we realized it had chicken tenders (grilled)! We got the loaded waffle fries also and a spicy bulldog and everything was seasoned perfectly (I don't even like onions but they worked on the hotdog!). Service was friendly and prompt. I had only been to this fast food place once many years ago when they first opened. Can't remember what I had, but I wasn't overly impressed at the time. Today I was absolutely craving a good hot dog, and I didn't feel like going all the way over to the other side of town to Frank's Dawgs. When I did a Google search, Bull Chicks popped up, and since I was shopping in that area of town I decided to give them a try. SO GLAD I DID! Overall I gave my lunch today five stars. It was super tasty, the staff were extra friendly, the whole restaurant was impeccably clean (see photo of bathroom floors ), and although it's a fast food place with no real bells and whistles - the ambience is relaxing. Now with that said, I will say that they use an oversized sandwich bun for their hot dogs. If I were getting just the plain hot dog with mustard it would have been way too much bread for my taste. However, since I had opted for the chili dog (which comes with raw onions and mustard - but you can specify different), the chili on the toasted bun really made it a wonderful sandwich. The hot dog was sliced down the middle and cooked on a grill, the chili was very meaty and well seasoned (and NOT greasy) - along with the mustard and the onions (yum) It made for a wonderful hot dog sandwich. For me, I could have used a little bit more raw onions, I'll know to ask for more next time. The waffle fries were hot and tasty. They're more on the crispy side then Chick-fil-A whose waffle fries are more fluffy, but still good. All in all I really enjoyed my hot dog combo and left satisfied and happy. Now for the cleanliness of the place. When was the last time you were in any restaurant much less a fast food restaurant, where the floors were so clean (YES - even in the bathrooms), that it looked like the floor is had just been installed. I even included a picture of the corner of the bathroom stall to show just how clean all the corners were - grout and all! Same for inside the dining area. The tile flooring absolutely gleaned with cleanliness as were the table tops. It was refreshing and truly appreciated. Whoever is in charge of their janitorial/cleaning should get a raise! I had a little difficulty in accessing current menus online myself, but that might have just been my phone. Just in case, I included photos of the menus on the wall behind the order counter for 8/09/24. I noticed they had other signs all over the place on certain special items that aren't on the main wall menus. For example they had a sign on the side window stating that they offer a fresh 'cracked egg' breakfast sandwiches in the morning through the drive-thru (only) - which I'll have to check out one day. I will definitely go back whenever I'm having a craving for a hot dog for sure. At some point I'm sure I'll try something else on their menu as well. read more

This place has gone way down in every aspect. The wings are insanely overpriced, and they are very small. I had a 14-piece bone in classic wings that was $26.99, not a combo. Just wings. They were smaller than a key fob and just slightly larger than a standard house key. Look at the pictures. I can get a very decent ribeye for that. You might be saying 14 pieces are a lot, but not these wings. A whopping 9 piece combo is $21.99. These people are crazy. read more

After seeing photos of some of the food made here I was excited to try a fast food restaurant that offered out of the norm options. I decided to keep it simple for my first visit and ordered the chicken fajita wrap combo and funnel cake fries, with extra powdered sugar of course The young lady taking orders wasn't rude, she clearly didn't want to be at work, but she wasn't rude. My food came out quickly and I took pictures as soon as I got in my vehicle, so the photos are what the food looked like "fresh." I first noticed how small my wraps were, but was still hopeful, sadly it was a lost hope. The chicken was pretty much what you see in the picture, there wasn't much more. Whatever they use as a tortilla is not, well, it's translucent looking, so it's not any tortilla I usually cook with. Guessing it is just something I'm not familiar with, but it being wet, very wet, didn't make it more appealing either. I had to pat it down with napkins when opening it. Still tried it anyway, the chicken was flavorless, I think, there was something so sweet in the wrap that it overpowered any other flavors. My daughters eat pretty much anything so I decided to just eat the fries and funnel cake and give the wrap to them. They each took a bite and refused to eat any more so it wasn't just me. The fries were so extremely salty, which I wasn't expecting looking at them, they were also not edible by anyone in the vehicle. Turned to what I had been looking forward to the most, the funnel cake fries. As you can see in the picture there was by no means extra sugar, and oddly enough, the sugar on it was morphing into some odd goo. No that is not what powdered sugar has ever done on any funnel cake I've ever eaten, not even on another restaurants "funnel cake fries." I went ahead and gave three stars because it was clean, the restroom was clean, and I am still impressed with the menu options, so hopefully this was a big one off. read more

First time trying this restaurant, the food is absolutely fresh. The waffle fries are amazing and the spicy sauce has a nice kick to it. The sandwich was full of flavor, the spice level is nice about a 3-4/10. The bread is baked perfectly and not hard as other places I have been to. The service was quick and the food was brought out to me. I love the tables with the napkins easily accessible by ripping instead of the traditional ones. My first time at Bull Chicks was pretty good! Bull Chicks has plenty of meaty menu items but quite a few pescatarian options as well! They have an extensive menu with all the info you need posted online. We used their site to set up an online pickup order. I ordered a shrimp sandwich with a side of waffle fries, and my boyfriend ordered a spicy chicken burger with a side of spicy fries. It was ready 20 minutes after ordering as advertised! We went inside to pick it up, though it looks like you also have the option of using their drive through to pick up. There is indoor seating available. The food was pretty solid... my bf did like his spicy burger and fries but I wasn't blown away by my shrimp sandwich. On the online menu it says it is made with an in-house sauce but I'm not sure my sandwich had any kind of sauce... a sauce probably would have made it more flavorful. This might have been a one-time mistake so I'm going to have to give Bull Chicks another try sometime soon! I'm eyeing their veggie burger for the next item to try ;) read more

We stopped in to Bull Chicks while we were out and about on a Saturday. The restaurant is light, bright, and clean, and it certainly smelled appetizing when we went in. I ordered the bacon burger with Swiss cheese and avocado, my son ordered the grilled chicken burger, and my husband ordered the Philly cheese steak (after asking the cashier what he thought of it and receiving a good recommendation). Their sign says everything is made when you order it, and they weren't joking! Our food was piping hot and fresh when it was served, and we didn't wait terribly long for it, either. Everything was as ordered, and it all tasted delicious. The bacon burger had a wonderful chargrilled flavor - it reminded me of The Lion's Share, a restaurant they used to have in the mall in Alexandria, Louisiana, years ago. It was very, very tasty. If you check my photos, you'll see what my son thought of the grilled chicken burger! And my husband was pleased that he'd gone with the cashier's recommendation. We live in Brusly, and let me tell ya, Bull Chicks is worth driving across the river for. We'll go back again. First things first, I am feeling so guilty for not giving Bill Chicks a try. I had been here for a couple Yelp events and hadn't been back. My family and I ended up here last night when another restaurant we frequent had a 40 minute wait. All I can say is, "why in the world haven't we made Bull Chicks our first choice to begin with?!" I just watched a WAFB interview someone had posted in the Yelp pictures that summed it all up. They are not fast food but "convenient" but do offer a drive through. They don't even have heat lamps because everything is fresh and made to order! They have a truly extensive menu including adult beverages (Say what?! Yes, please!) Jason and I shared the brunch burger with chili cheese waffle fries and fried okra while our girls ate the kids' burger and chicken nugget meals with waffle fries. No one was disappointed! So many other delicious options on the menu that I know we'll be anxious to come back soon! Plus they have snowballs, ice cream, cookies (free if you post on Facebook or Instagram, which you bet we did!), and beignet sticks (like fries!) Must, Must, MUST come back and SO MUST YOU!!! PS Tips from my 7 year old: "They have cool things like the drinking fountain choices. I liked the kids' food. I liked the ice cream and the snowballs. Those cookies!, and the lady was nice. I prefer for the menu to highlight the cost of add-ons. Secondly, the food is a hit or miss. The first time I came here I had the turkey burger. It was extremely bland. I couldn't even finish it. The second time I just got loaded fries and they were to die for! The third time I got lemon pepper wings and the loaded fries. The wings were highly seasoned and the fries were good per usual.
