4 piece mixed. Biscuit. Red beans & rice. Delicious.

Big fan of Southern Chicks, we've had dinner there 3 times and each time we got excellent food and excellent service. Great experiences with both dine-in and call-ahead pickup. Their chicken is spicy y'all, and I hear a lot of complaints about this, so be forewarned that spicy is the only love language they serve on their bone-in and tender chicken pieces. Their chicken burger is nice, but it's just a few tenders out inside a bun - would rather see a full size chicken piece to pair with their excellent burger buns. But... after trying a few different menu items, I'm going to keep going back to getting a 3 piece, biscuit upgrade, witha side of red beans and rice - every time! They just do it right. I haven't had the guts to pair a meal with a daiquiri yet, but all of their desserts are fantastic and too hard to pass up! The ooey-gooey bars, banana pudding, and their giant chocolate chip cookie hit all the high points. I can't wait to try their chocolate pudding, it's next on my list. My only complaint is trying to get there before they close, 3pm on Sundays and 7:30pm early in the week. Thankfully they're open till 9pm Friday and Saturday! Just come hungry!

This place hasn't been open a month just yet and I've been a few times so I've been able to get a good experience before making this review. First, this place is much more than chicken. They have burgers, quesadillas, liver, and other items. I am confident you can find something you'd like. The inside is clean and they are keeping a steady flow of customers. Get the chicken with the jalapeño pepper and thank me later. The fish is ok but I do wish it had a little more seasoning. All the sides I've had were good as well. So many dessert options here too. My only comment is that they continue to watch service. I know staffing is hard these days and it showed on my last visit. Will it stop me from coming back? No. But bc they are so new I hope they don't miss out on new people trying this goodness.

This chicken was everything. Fresh hot and no feathers. Nice crispy and flavorful. The biscuit was hot and soft also. I went about 2:30pm. The staff was full and quick. The inside and lobby area was clean. All of the dessert looked fresh. The prices I think are reasonable. They also sale daiquiris, burgers wraps and a variety of other things .I had a slice of the ooey gooey butter cake and it melted in my mouth.

Cute, clean, and playing good jams inside. The chicken is spicy and crispy! A great addition to the area! While its definitely a fried chicken shop, they also have grilled chicken options. Most importantly, they have an extensive dessert menu. Finding a place that will sell me a single slice of cake this close to my house is dangerous.

I went around 3pm on a Thursday and it was packed! I initially went through the drive thru but was unable to order a wrap. The drive thru menu is only for quick orders and not the entire menu. Inside was spacious and clean. There were only a few vacant tables. I ordered the fried chicken BLT wrap. It was $12 and did not include any side or drink. Service was fast and friendly. I only waited about 10 minutes. My wrap was hot and fresh. My only complaint is that it wasn't cut in half. The chicken was crispy and seasoned well. The bacon was crispy. I will definitely return.

Fried chicken juicy seasoned very well

The chicken is off the charts good. The red beans and rice is top tier. The drive through took a while.

Because Sunday's there is happy hour until 5, I got the bottomless mimosas for $12, which came out to four drinks for me. A great deal I think! My friend and I weren't starving, but we wanted a snack, so we decided to split a burger between the two of us. We decided on the fried pickle burger, which came with ranch and fried pickles on the burger. I'm usually not adventurous when it come to burgers, but I was excited to try, since I loved fried pickles. The burger is pretty big, so it was defiantly enough for us to split. I thought the fried pickle burger was delicious! The ranch wasn't too heavily poured on, and the fried pickles were seriously a great touch. The patty was juicy and tasted so good. When I arrived it was honestly dead inside. Maybe one other customer and I had to ask if they were still open because it was oddly slow. But you want to know what was not dead? Their food! The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the veggies had a slight crunch and not overcooked and the fingerling potatoes were the perfect add to that dish. Sweet, salty, faintly smoky, citrusy, it was a perfect margarita. My husband got a house salad, which was good - fresh and tasty - and we ordered hot rolls, which were honestly pretty meh. I ordered the Thursday special, and overall, the food lacked real flavor. The only seasoning that stood out was black pepper. At this point, I've come to realize that not everyone has the same standard when it comes to good food. The atmosphere had its positives--the building is nice and the space was cool--but the music was so loud that we couldn't comfortably hold a conversation, and the temperature was actually a bit too cold to fully enjoy dining in. The only items I genuinely enjoyed were the fountain drinks and the Hawaiian roll. The rest of the meal fell short. The mashed potatoes were overly saturated with gravy, and while the yams had potential, they needed more sweetness--brown sugar especially. I could taste hints of butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg, but it just didn't come together. Service-wise, the staff was polite but lacked warmth or personality. The interaction felt dry and uninviting. Even with my experience, the restaurant stayed busy, with customers continuing to come in. The service was great (S/o to Macy and the man at the front counter who I'm assuming is the owner). When I asked for more information on certain flavors and how good they were, the server was extremely honest especially when it came to the valley bread. The owner also gave us free samples of the valley bread (first picture below) which is a fresh garlic and Parmesan bread. The vibes were definitely there. Back to the Future and Jurassic Park were playing on the tv, and the writing on the walls gave a unique touch. It kept us entertained by reading different names and sayings. NOW TO THE FOOD!! The pink lemonade was good. It wasn't overly sweet which I love. The kool-aid (not pictured),on the other hand, could have used more sugar personally. There was also blue raspberry lemonade which we didn't try. I appreciated that these drinks were additional options besides the traditional coke products that they do have. The death valley meal was a 12 wing combo w/ fries and a drink. My friend decided on garlic parmesan and the valley sauce as her two flavors. The valley sauce was a light, sticky bbq sauce. It was amazing compared to traditional bbq sauced wings. The sauce wasn't over powering like traditional bbq sauce making the eating experience way better. Now that garlic parmesan?!!! Nothing like wingstop for sure. It's hard to explain but it taste exactly like garlic and parmesan. It doesn't taste fake like other garlic parmesan flavors. One thing I really appreciate about this business is their use of fresh garlic because it's not hard to miss. It adds an extra spark to their dishes. My 10 piece combo with half lemon pepper and honey hot was equally amazing. That flavor was unexplainable!! Usually when I get honey hot (or hot honey) it's always too sweet with no kick. Valley Wings honey hot was a perfect mix of both. The "kick" really got my friend, but for a regular spice consumer this would be great for you. The lemon pepper in my option lacked. I don't know if they didn't put enough season on it or my taste buds were off from the other previous flavors, but I barely tasted any lemon pepper. It was still good chicken but the flavor wasn't present. The regular and Cajun fries had a nice crunch to them but nothing special. They do offer a lot of loaded fry options that looked and sound amazing like chicken Alfredo, Cajun shrimp Alfredo, etc. Definitely another BR go-to restaurants on my list. Pink lemonade: 8/10 Garlic Parmesan: 9.5/10 Valley sauce: 8.5/10 Lemon pepper: 5/10 Honey hot: 9/10 Cajun fries: 5/10
