GREAT FOOD & GREAT STAFF... The Fee for using a Credit Card is No Good, especially w/o a forewarning.

I ventured over to the east side of the parish to meet some friends to watch US in the World Cup. I was not aware this was an actual large restaurant, but when I walked in, it was a nice surprise. The bar area is big and there are tons of other tables. TVs line the walls. My friends ordered a couple of apps which were all good - there's a grazing board which had a lot of fresh and flavorful bites. I ended up ordering the smashburger because it was the special. I hadn't planned on eating the whole thing, but I did and I don't regret it. They have flat cut fries which needed a little more flavor, but still good. Service was okay enough. When at the table, he didn't check to see if everyone was good each time, which led to multiple visits when things could have been handled all at once. We had to ask for small app plates, and silverware was not provided at all spots. Dishes were never cleared when bringing additional apps, so we took to stacking and rearranging plates. And no one seemed to be quite sure of the happy hour specials, if any. All and all, it's a great place to watch the game, and I assume a good place for kids to go because it's so open and wide. read more

They have tons of TVs. Their charcuturie boards are amazing! The steak filet wrap is really tasty.

This place is really good. The fries are these interesting thick-but-not-too-thick steak fries, the wings are tasty. The service is nothing to write home about, but good. It's a little pricey but you can tell they make at least most things in house. Last time we went, I got the steak filet wrap which wasn't as big as I'd hoped, but it was very good! It'd be a fun place to watch a game. I think this is our new favorite wing place! read more

Kenzie the waitress is probably the rudest person i've ever met in my life. I asked for apple pay she looked at me like i was a crazy person and then said follow me while i was obviously still eating then got mad when i said i was still eating then said you could've said that a little nicer. Also gave me barbecue wings when i asked for daytona. read more

Pleasantly surprised by the food here. Naked boneless chicken wings were good and fries were good as well with good ranj

Great place to eat. we had the wings with peach habanero sauce and the wings with ghost peppers they were delicious. We also had the homemade pepper jack cheese sticks and they were the best. Also their home made ranch dressing was amazing. Funnel cake was delicious! read more

Manager was complete cornball of a person , me and my buddies went to get some good eats, and were welcomed with rude hostility for no reason , mind you manager looked young enough to be my daughter.Mind we left hungry , starving , empty , hallow , sad , broken #yougetthepoint (we mainly left because of the manager everyone else as super nice) read more

Good place for wings and watching the game. We also do takeout here and like it. Prices are not bad.

Just Wingin' It is a great option for food and sports on TV that's close to home. Beer is always cold, food is always hot and fresh. Appetizers are always hot and quick out of the kitchen. When it comes to wings, the biggest bang for your buck are the giant boneless wings doused in their Daytona sauce. Coming from someone who usually subs fries for something else, the thin and crispy steak fries are always delicious. Servers are always expedient and attentive without being overbearing. For the size of the space, there's no shortage of TVs to watch every game possible. read more

Great food and great service! Patty melt was delicious with large portion sizes. Friendly servers and orders come out very quickly. read more

What better way to celebrate your victory at the gym than to have a post snack from Just Wingin it! This is a cute restaurant/bar! Servers are pretty young...mostly high school kids or barely college aged kiddos...so don't expect as super attentive or super knowledgeable service. Maybe I'm just getting old lol. I love coming here for the freshly made mozzarella sticks! It's hot, fresh and super crunchy on the outside! I've also tried a variety of wings and by far my fav flavor is the Caribbean jerk. It's not like the typical spicy Caribbean jerk you've had in the past...it's more of a sweeter tasting wing vs a savory flavored one. I did try many other flavors but I was not liking the vinegary ones. I would have liked for them to label their wings so you know what flavors you are getting since the majority of the other flavors are similar in tastes. Other than that...I'd definitely come back for my Caribbean jerk wings and mozzarella sticks ! read more

Went back for their throwback Thursday. Didn't get the discount I was promised even after showing up in their themed attire (last night was tie-dye night). Food was good though, so only 1 star off. *I did point out the discrepancy on the receipt to the server, but she ran to get her manager. We left because I'm not haggling over $2. read more

Update months and months later after we came for their grand opening week.. It seems like they've made some changes to their menu..! All wings now comes with a side of fries.. thank goodnesss.....considering they're pretty pricey already. We ordered 20 bone - in breaded wings. Honestly, their wings are HUGE. We ordered half Tiger Sauce and half garlic Parmesan. The tiger sauce tasted like a sweet & sour Tabasco sauce.. pretty tasty. The garlic Parmesan came out .. LOOKIN' GREEN! We both were confused but I mean never judge a wing by it's coating.. right?!.. I mean essentially their garlic Parmesan sauce is exactly like an aioli. It was different for sure. I probably won't be ordering them again. However, def def definitely recommend Daytona (p.s. they're always sold out of daytona) and tiger sauce. read more

I come here for the wings and the Mozzarella cheese sticks. The mozzarella sticks have to be in house made they are the best. They have bones and bone in wings in a wide variety of flavors and they also have naked or breaded on the bone in wings. I always get the naked bone in, my favorite is the traditional Buffalo but they are all good. They also have daily lunch specials Monday they Friday. So if your in the area you might wanna give them a try. read more

My husband and I decided to order take out. He ordered the caesar salad with added shrimp. I ordered the grilled redfish which came with broccoli & a side salad. We also ordered a side of onion rings. My fish very dry. The caesar salad came with dressing on the side, but it was very strange and didn't taste at all like caesar. Both his salad and my side salad had huge chunks of lettuce. There was zero attempt to cut the salad into bite size pieces. And the order of onion rings, well they were just sad. I really feel like there was very little to no effort made to put our meal together. read more

I would say this is a nice spot for close neighborhoods to get out and enjoy some decent grub and watch their favorite sports team with some buddies or the family. I don't see all of Baton Rouge cramming to get a table here unless there was some really great happy hour or offers. I know the business is new so we will give some passes on some things but one of the things I wanna address is how Smokey the place was when we came in. Needs better ventilation. Anyhow, we appreciated that our server wanted to make us happy even though the kitchen was out of everything. On to food: Appetizers: -FRIED PICKLES- they're sliced into rounds thick enough to not shrivel away when fried. Tastes like pickle chips. Had to ask for ranch dipping. -CHEESE & CHARCUTERIE BOARD- we got the Large size. Items on board were decent but we felt it could be better for $24 -BOUDIN BALLS- Fried. Pretty decent flavor. You get 6 to an order. -NAKED BONE IN WINGS- crispy but still juicy. -BREADED BONE IN WINGS- just personal preference but I prefer breaded for boneLESS wings. Flavor on the wings were decent. There's 9 flavors total. We tried: -TIGER SAUCE- -GARLIC PARMESAN- -LEMON PEPPER BUFFALO- -CARIBBEAN JERK- Side of Fries were cut into thin steak style. There's also shuffleboard in the corner you could play. I wouldn't be opposed to going back to trying more things on the menu. I just hope by the time we do, the kinks have been worked out and the inventory will be better. read more

Seems like this place has a new owner & hate to say it but the food was much better this time! Super fresh & came out hot too! My husband and I shared the fried cheese. We always get a side of ranch also. They are the larger ones, so 5 is pretty great for an appetizer. Normally we opt for the 50 cent wings on Monday, but we shared a patty melt. Again, the flavor and freshness of this sandwich was amazing. The fries were the same but we've never had them come out hot before. Crazy as that sounds we live close, so we come here often & the fries were always cold. Love that the back really cares about timing. It was a better experience & hoping they carry this through. read more

The wings and burgers are great, but what keeps us coming back are the tamales. My wife says they are the best she's had since her dad passed away. That's praise indeed because everyone loved his home made tamales. He was dedicated and made hundreds at a time - very tiring work- and everyone looked forward to tamale season. A must have at our LSU tailgate parties. We were going to try and make some ourselves, but since finding Just Winging It that's not necessary. read more

Worst service ever.. manager actually said "didn't she tell you service would be rough tonight.. we are busy"... appetizer never showed.. had to get our own drinks from the bar.. they spent time on a jr high catholic school basketball team then they did on anyone else in the restaurant. So so good. This evening, we had the "Just Wingin It Shrimp Pasta". Creamy, spicy, delicious. They're just wingin it alright.. We tried this place when it first opened and it was terrible. Year or so later, we go back for a pick up order. We waited 40 extra minutes only for it to be completely wrong. It wasn't even edible looking. The wings were coated in a "garlic parm" chunky (yea, chunky) sauce that was green.. We didn't even order garlic parm. Guess they didn't want us to try the beans either since they forgot to include those despite us paying for them. I guess the only thing that could be good would be their bottled beer. read more

Great neighborhood restaurant/sports bar to visit. I had the Plantation Salad with fried chicken. Sooo good! It was fresh, the chicken was still hot and a spring mix is used with chunks of blue cheese. It was filling and I should have stopped there. But I didn't. Instead I let Maddie ( the waitress behind the bar) talked me in to a fried chicken red beans and rice wrap. I was a little reluctant thinking it would be messy with the red beans oozing out as I ate. But that was not the case. The wrap was served in two pieces and is very large. The flavor is excellent- I like this place and always meet interesting people at the bar. read more

Boudin balls were delicious. Charcuterie board had some delicious chicken on it. Filet bites were yummy. Red beans were good. Fried shrimp could use some seasoning, too bland. Bad business to charge someone for extra condiments though. Never had to pay extra for a small cup of Mayo, might want to rethink that one. Or bring your own condiments. Overall, it was enjoyable. * good food good deals * I went here with my boyfriend and we both wanted burgers and wings, so we ordered them both and split them between us and they did not disappoint! we asked for the burger to be medium rare (yeah we're those people) and they actually cooked it that way! we were both very pleasantly surprised because a lot of places will ask how you want your burger done but not actually cook it that way which can be so disappointing but just wingin it cooked our burger exactly the way we wanted it!! the wings were also so delicious - we got buffalo & the tiger sauce and they were both so good! definitely come by (especially on Monday for 50¢ wings) you will not be disappointed! read more

Called in a small to go order - ended up taking over an hour after they told me 10 minutes and continued to make up a ready time every 5 minutes. Then at the very end my whole order was wrong. Went there for lunch. Friendly staff at the bar. Cold beer. Everything is very clean... ...so, being at a wing place, I ordered wings and sweet potato fries. The food came out fast. The meager portion of sweet potato fries were good, but the wings were tiny, barely warm, NOT fresh cooked and obviously had been sitting in a bin to keep warm in the back. I would expect this from a place serving cheap happy hour wings, but when "wing" is in your name I expect a decent portion that is fresh cooked. Maybe it was a bad day...I'll try again later... read more
