Before you step foot into a Blue Store, you should know to expect. The experience here is a little similar to Spirit Airlines... if all goes well, you had a great experience and saved a lot of money... but you should generally expect a couple bumps in the road. The most common one at Triplet's is food availability... at any given time, they will be out of a number of items so you'll need to wait ~20 minutes. The cashier doesn't really know how long you'll have to wait either. The seating area to wait for food is very basic... just a few super old chairs side by side. But look... they have low prices so you just gotta accept those things. Because the food is phenomenal. Definitely not healthy, but absolutely delicious. The chicken is fried so well, and the salt and pepper-based seasoning is FIRE . I do wish they had online ordering but I imagine that's part of their cost control. read more

Food is good but customer service is lacking in person. As i was ordering my food the cashier literally picked up a personal call. You would think a cashier would wait till after he was finished helping me. Literally conversing in the middle of me ordering which was very rude. Been hearing about this place since they started the construction on Jones Creek Road months ago. I think they opened a week ago, and I'm pretty sure they've been slammed everyday since. Made it about 30 minutes before closing time today (Sunday they close at 7pm), and the line was practically out the door! At first I was wishing I had called ahead to order and also was thinking they needed a separate worker to take to go orders, but then I heard the cashier tell someone on the phone that they only take to go orders if the order is 50 wings or more. Wait time: not bad considering the lobby was full! Waited in line for maybe 10+ minutes then maybe another 10+ for my order to be ready. Nice that they have some chairs on the back walls for waiting customers. Food quality and taste: my family really enjoyed it. I found it a bit spicy, but my children didn't even complain. The wings were gobbled up as well as the meat pies and boudin links. Interior: very clean and open. Multiple coolers full of drink options at reasonable prices. Takeout only. No seats for dine in. Perhaps one day when less COVID concerns they'll add a couple tables but perhaps not in their plans. Overall, I'll definitely be back as this was good quality at good prices. Blue Store chicken on Jones Creek came through today! 50 wings and 12 pieces mixed (they only sell individual pieces not boxes). Extra crispy, a little spicy and juicy Yum! My 4 instead of 5 is because I had to call to reserve then call on our way to pick up so they would drop them and they told me that I didn't have to preorder individual pieces but when we picked up they didn't have enough thighs. Wow! Super chicken with the best customer service. Chicken is cut into generous pieces. It tastes fresh and homemade. The tenders are a good price and delicious. Sides: red beans & rice, much better than Popeye's; potato logs are addictive. The place has a very home cooked kind of vibe. The prices are reasonable. My only disappointment is that they ran out of cracklins before we got there. We will definitely go back. read more

Go here for the chicken and you won't be disappointed. I can't speak for everything, but the chicken was the star of the show. The rest that we had--egg rolls, shrimp fried rice, potato logs, were ok but underwhelming. The prices are great. Next time I will try a few other things and will hopefully improve my opinion. I'm thrilled that we have a location so close and definitely plan to return with high hopes. Popeyes definitely has some competition. read more

Trash stores and garbage employees!! Do not patronize this location. The owner price gouges and the chicken is form Walmart. Our entire family got food poisoning from this location because the workers are unsanitary and touch chicken with ungloved hands. We've been waiting to try the chicken here but the parking lot has always been overflowing. It's 1:30 on Monday and we're determined to get in. Well we hit it right cuz the lot is only half full. Our anticipation was fully realized as we tried the wings, egg rolls and cracklins. Everything was fantastic! Chicken was a little spicy and that's just the way we love it. It's also a little salty if you watch the salt intake a lot. I watch mine too but all habits deserve a break from time to time. The pricing is very reasonable and the employees are pleasant and helpful. Popeyes better watch out because here they don't act insulted when you drop by to spend your money. Stopped and got lunch here today. 3 piece with breast, wing and thigh. Breast was almost inedible due to how dry it was. The dark meat had a nasty, off flavor to it that definitely makes you throw it away. Just can't go back after that. read more

Getting the food does take a while but they have been slammed with multiple customers as since they just opened which is ok. *** BUYER BEWARE *** HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH CATERING ORDERS!!! -- On Friday morning, May 28, 2021, our company placed a Lunch Catering Order for our clients (who specifically asked for Triplet's Blue Store Chicken). A young man took our catering order and I had to repeat myself several times to him to make sure he took down my order correctly. He was supposed to have our order ready at 11AM. My colleague got to Triplet's Blue Store Chicken to pick up our order at 11:21AM (she accidentally went to the wrong location) and Triplet's Blue Store Chicken DID NOT HAVE OUR ORDER READY! They had not even DROPPED OUR ORDER to start cooking! By this time, it is now almost 11:30-11:45AM and several of our clients are already at our office WAITING on their food! My boss and my team were MORTIFIED .... and we did everything we could to "entertain our hungry clients" until my colleague got back with the chicken and eggrolls. I tried calling Triplet's Blue Store Chicken to speak with a manager but their phone was disconnected/not working (nice!). By 12noon-ish, Triplet's Blue Store Chicken FINALLY had our order ready (1 HOUR LATE). My colleague sped back to our office with the lunch for our clients. By this time, some of our clients had literally been waiting for almost 45 minutes for this food (embarrassing is an understatement)! Tuesday, June 1, 2021, I called Triplet's Blue Store Chicken and spoke to Jennifer (store manager) and she BLAMED US for not getting our order on time because "we were late" .... but then they later admitted that she/they had not even dropped in our order to start cooking. I told her I wanted to immediately speak with her owner, Kim, to get a full refund because NONE OF THIS WAS OUR FAULT. Jennifer said she would "try and get a hold of them." I told her we would need an answer from her/Kim by 5PM or they would lose our company business for good. Nobody called us back by 5PM. Wednesday, June 2, 2021, I call again. Jennifer said she spoke to Kim and Kim said this: "Once the food leaves our store parking lot, there is nothing we can do." I reminded Jennifer that our food was NEVER EVEN READY when they said it would be and that I wanted a refund/some type of compensation for our troubles/awful experience. Again, all Jennifer said was, "I'm sorry but my owner said 'Once the food leaves our store parking lot, there is nothing we can do.'" I told Jennifer to please tell Kim that for them being a BRAND NEW RESTAURANT, their customer service was/is HORRIBLE and I will be sure to pass along to my boss and our clients what Kim said.
