We were breaking camp at the nearby KOA Campground and decided to grab breakfast here being it's just a few minutes away. We arrived at 8:00 AM on Thursday and was surprised to find this restaurant was nearly empty with only a few locals having coffee and engaged in a conversation at the bar. The friendly staff greeted us and we seated ourselves at a high-top near the front windows, we both ordered their freshly brewed iced tea while browsing the menu. We wanted to eat and run so we both ordered pancakes and I got a side of bacon - the pancakes were just okay and the bacon unfortunately was cold like it could of been sitting for awhile but it is what it is and we were in and out quickly and our server Whitney brought us each a iced tea to go which was very nice. Nothing bad here but also nothing memorable except how empty the place was at breakfast time in an area that was busy. We went for brunch. Super friendly and courteous staff. Food was amazing. The Belgian waffle was so good. I'm not sophisticated enough to have ever had one, but the sugar flakes are so good. Popped in for lunch and grabbed 3 hangover burgers for the family. The staff was super sweet and eager to please. The ambiance was amazing, beautifully decorated and very clean. Can't believe this is my first time here, but won't be my last. All the staff was helpful with each other which was great to see team players these days. Stopped in for a quick coffee and breakfast. Y'all, they have DUCK TENDERS!! So crispy with a mild flavor. The cherry sauce served with them is tasty. But since I'm from the woods...order a biscuit and gravy and use the gravy as your sauce. So flippin' good. read more

Nice, cozy ambience. Clean surroundings. Waitress was prompt and nice. Menu is varied between surf and turf (and sometimes combined, lol). Prices are reasonable in this age of inflation . Country music playing, and sports on five plus TVs. There is also a bar, but surprisingly no alchohol is served. I had the Ballpark burger - 6oz topped with imported crawfish. True surf ON turf. Burger was excellent; real homemade type beef burger with crawfish, cheese and jalapenos. Can't say that I really tasted the crawfish but it is a great burger. Chili was nothing to write home about; tasted like Hormels if I'm being honest. Gave it to my daughter and she thought it was ok. Tots were ... well, tots. Hard to mess those up. Philly cheesesteak was good; daughter said it was a little plain tasting; could have used something like more bell peppers and onions, or even jalapenos. Overall, she liked it though. Oh man. I really had high hopes for this place. Moving to the area I was looking forward to a good place to come eat breakfast or lunch at. The restaurant is nice on the inside. Second we sat down the waitress told us it was going to be a little wait for the food, that was fine, didn't have anywhere to be. We both ordered a burger and a Sandwich, nothing crazy. It was an hour before the food came out. The restaurant was empty too... I don't understand what took so long. I also ordered chicken salad and that was not chicken salad... it was just grilled chicken. Wouldn't mind the wait if the food would have been really good but it wasn't anything to write home about. Stopped in Saturday for breakfast. Ok, so the stop serving breakfast at 11. Moving on to lunch. I LOVE a good Caesar Salad, so I order that. The 6 of us ordered different things, 2 of us had the salad. Service was great. She was really busy all over the restaurant, which was not busy as we came in, but got busier while we waited. Can't remember how long the food took. Seemed like a reasonable time though. So. The "Caesar Salad" is a bowl of lettuce, with 2 cherry tomatoes thrown on, 4 or 5 croutons, and a dash of Parmesan cheese. Dressing on the side. We asked for more Parmesan Cheese. Such a letdown. $9 for part of a $3 bag of lettuce. Nah. Won't be interested in returning. read more

I ordered The Ribeye Steak platter with a side of bacon for me and the Country Fried Steak platter with a side of bacon for my daughter. The charge for these two breakfasts was $58. My ribeye and egg breakfast had NO eggs and NO side of bacon and NO toast, just two pieces of plain dry whole wheat bread . I ordered the steak medium rare, it was cooked well, well done. That's not surprising , considering it was about 1/4" thick. It was Inedible. My daughter's Country Fried Steak breakfast was correct, but stone cold. I called the restaurant to complain and was told the manager was outside and would call me back. NO CALL BACK. I called again and asked for the owner. They said he would call me back...wait for it....NO CALL. This was the first time I've spent $58 getting breakfast delivered(ihop was less) and my first order from Yeager's Down Home. I will not order from them again or visit the restaurant. I had such high hopes for this restaurant. Next time I will go with iHop. In my the restaurant or delivery it's always great. Beautiful indoor area with a decent size seating area. Fried duck tenders appetizer provided a large serving size in comparison to the amount you get with the fried duck tenders and waffles. The fried duck was seasoned and prepared well. Waffles (not pictured) were amazingly delicious with a sweet (funnel cake type taste). The boudin egg rolls were tasty as well. The Philly cheesesteak was good; the sweet potato fries were a great add. And the all-you-can-eat fried fish was worth the buy. Love the flakiness and batter on the fish! Would definitely purchase again! The Mac n cheese side was a bit loose and the cheese was watered down. Would probably try a different side next time. read more

We stopped in for Sunday brunch at noon. After ordering coffee we were informed that breakfast was over and they were only serving lunch. Bummer. Just like McDonald's. The coffee showed up and was warm, not hot. Our waitress said she would be back in a minute. About 20 minutes later our coffee was gone and our water was gone. I have been wanting to try this place as it is owned by the same owner of Downhome Grill in Livingston (A Marine Vet). We waited until the crowd died down from the lunch and church crowd. The experience started badly as we walked in and the sign said "Please wait to be seated" we waited 10 minutes and I had to walk around the corner to the bar to let someone know we were there. No biggie. We sat down and a pleasant waitress/server came and greeted us and took our drink order. The restaurant was playing some old country from the '80s & the '90s. Good vibe. Our order was taken and brought out no ranch for the salads and no sweet tea. (To be fair, they make their ranch by hand and they just finished with the lunch crowd. I also forgot they close early on Sunday's) I was not upset about the stuff they were out of. No biggie. The food was outstanding, with great flavor. We came in to try something new. It's clean and fresh!! Plenty seating, I think a bar too. It's a short menu kind of a mix sea food, salads and steak. There's a breakfast menu also! I had the Ball Park burger and Julie had the nutty berry salad. Mine cam with fries and a little bowel of chili. They brought house made pickles, honestly they were pretty much cucumbers that sat in vinegar a while. The fries are those kinda batter covered kind, I don't care for them or "spring mix" field greens. If I wanted weeds I'd go graze in a field. Ok back to it! The food was great! Our server was super! Julie ate her salad like it was on fire! Chili is fresh, glass was always full. Bathroom was clean and smells nice. Portions are big and nice sturdy flat ware to eat with! My experience was not very good last week. The place was not clean in my opinion. We sat at a table where the floor was littered with debris and no one would sweep it. I found the table was sticky and I had to go wash my hands several times during my visit. From what I can tell, again, my opinion, there are no older adult owners or managers to watch over the operation and the service and food, is mediocre at best. I do not like to visit establishments that are not clean, whether it be a grocery store or hardware store. But, least of all, I do not like unclean restaurants where food is being served. read more

Service was absolutely terrible. After being seated for 20 minutes and watching two groups of people who were seated after us get their orders taken by our waitress, I finally went to the check out counter and flagged another waitress to get her to take our order. Then after waiting another 10-15 minutes I had to flag down another new waitress to get a refill on everyone at our tables drinks. I understand that they were busy and people can get frustrated , but I think it is bad Business for the owner/manager to walk away from a table next to ours cursing about the "f-ing @$$holes". First of all my young kids don't need to hear that language and second of all don't speak about your paying customers out loud in front of other customers like that. In total from sitting to paying we were there for an hour and fourth-five minutes. That is crazy for breakfast! And we never spoke to our waitress one time after we were seated. I asked the lady who checked us out who was listed as our waitress for the gratuity and she told me the original girl....ummmm not no but heck no. In all Actuality I should just only give one star but the place was clean And although our waitress was slow she was friendly but I can't see myself ever coming back here to eat. They also serve breakfast but they were no Longer taking breakfast orders when we got there which I was disappointed at that until I saw breakfast platter with a frozen chicken fried steak being delivered to a table by me. All meats that I saw and or tasted were definitely previously frozen. My husband ordered the Crab cake served on burger bun which the waitress assured my husband that it was made with fresh lump crab but it was far being true. The crab cake was a previously frozen stuffed crab made into a patty and then topped with coleslaw and the only thing that was lumps of white on this sandwich was the coleslaw. I had the grilled chicken sandwich it was so thin as you can see in the picture. The tomato slice was thicker by far than the chicken breast which was also super bland. Waffle house definitely has this place bet on the grilled chicken sandwich. I can't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I only had takeout so its hard to really judge the quality of the food but it wasnt that good. The quantity was pretty bad too and that should not have been impacted by the fact that it was takeout. Take a look at my pictures and honestly ask yourself if that was worth $16. You get 4 shrimp for $16, thats pretty paltry. Be sure to check out that side salad also. Walked through the door right at 11am on a Sunday got seated. Our server gave us menus without explaining breakfast ended at 11. I'm sorry I've been a server before and it'd be nice to give your costumers a heads up. "Hi guys good morning! Breakfast end up at 11 you want me to put something in for your real quick or y'all good with lunch" or "hey guys we are only serving lunch from now on.. just FYI" That's literally all it takes.
