    Duck Tenders!!
    Jean R.

Stopped in for a quick coffee and breakfast. Y'all, they have DUCK TENDERS!! So crispy with a mild flavor. The cherry sauce served with them is tasty. But since I'm from the woods...order a biscuit and gravy and use the gravy as your sauce. So flippin' good.

Nice, cozy ambience. Clean surroundings. Waitress was prompt and nice. Menu is varied between surf and turf (and sometimes combined, lol). Prices are reasonable in this age of inflation . Country music playing, and sports on five plus TVs. There is also a bar, but surprisingly no alchohol is served. I had the Ballpark burger - 6oz topped with imported crawfish. True surf ON turf. Burger was excellent; real homemade type beef burger with crawfish, cheese and jalapenos. Can't say that I really tasted the crawfish but it is a great burger. Chili was nothing to write home about; tasted like Hormels if I'm being honest. Gave it to my daughter and she thought it was ok. Tots were ... well, tots. Hard to mess those up. Philly cheesesteak was good; daughter said it was a little plain tasting; could have used something like more bell peppers and onions, or even jalapenos. Overall, she liked it though. Final verdict: we will definitely be back. Good food. Good value. Good atmosphere. Looking forward to trying other dishes.

    Super thin OVER COOKED steak

I ordered The Ribeye Steak platter with a side of bacon for me and the Country Fried Steak platter with a side of bacon for my daughter. The charge for these two breakfasts was $58. My ribeye and egg breakfast had NO eggs and NO side of bacon and NO toast, just two pieces of plain dry whole wheat bread . I ordered the steak medium rare, it was cooked well, well done. That's not surprising , considering it was about 1/4" thick. It was Inedible. My daughter's Country Fried Steak breakfast was correct, but stone cold. I called the restaurant to complain and was told the manager was outside and would call me back. NO CALL BACK. I called again and asked for the owner. They said he would call me back...wait for it....NO CALL. This was the first time I've spent $58 getting breakfast delivered(ihop was less) and my first order from Yeager's Down Home. I will not order from them again or visit the restaurant. I had such high hopes for this restaurant. Next time I will go with iHop. In my the restaurant or delivery it's always great. Yeager Down Home will not get any more of my money.

Philly cheesesteak sandwich and sweet potato fries

Beautiful indoor area with a decent size seating area. Fried duck tenders appetizer provided a large serving size in comparison to the amount you get with the fried duck tenders and waffles. The fried duck was seasoned and prepared well. Waffles (not pictured) were amazingly delicious with a sweet (funnel cake type taste). The boudin egg rolls were tasty as well. The Philly cheesesteak was good; the sweet potato fries were a great add. And the all-you-can-eat fried fish was worth the buy. Love the flakiness and batter on the fish! Would definitely purchase again! The Mac n cheese side was a bit loose and the cheese was watered down. Would probably try a different side next time.

This is our favorite place to eat breakfast in Denham Springs! It's quite common to see local law enforcement gathering here for breakfast, as well as many other locals. The food is always excellent. Whitney and Brittany always do an excellent an amazing job waiting on us. Their lunches are also great! Don't miss this little gem in Denham!

Our food had literally no taste. Absolutely zero. I actually don't even understand how it's possible for food to be this flavorless.

I'm not exaggerating, I have not found anything better! AND THEN, every single thing I've tried on the menu is DIVINE! I ordered the wrong thing last time I went. My husband orders two sandwiches when he goes.....no lie. And I tried to order just one of them one time when he wasn't with me. So I ordered and took a bite and it wasn't the one I thought it was....not their fault, I just ordered the other one my husband usually does. I have been eating at Longhorns locations in Louisiana and Georgia for over 15 years. I have noticed in the past couple of years the quality of their filets have dropped dramatically. While the claim not to use "glued" meat, my filet at this location showed signs of glued meat. No consistency in the cut and it came to pieces as cut it. Flavor was lacking. I gave a 3 hoping it was an isolated bad cut of meat. I plan to see what happens the next time I visit. If better I'll update this review. Longhorns used to have awesome filets, but now seem like "dressed up" sirlons.

We agreed that they were really good. We paid our bar tab and got a table. The facility was nice and clean and had seating for about 100 people. I noticed that there were many employees standing around doing nothing, although I expect that later that evening, the place got really , Although the place was nearly empty, they still seated us close to the door to the kitchen, which I really didn't appreciate. We both ordered the softshell crawfish, and I was delighted that they brought out hush puppies at no charge as soon as we sat down. It didn't take long for them to bring out the soft shell crawfish along with a dipping sauce that was something unfamiliar. My friend didn't really like it, and I used it, but was rather ambivalent about it. The soft show crawfish seemed overcooked to me, and I've had fried crawfish tails many times that were much better. At least I can now say that I have actually had the chance to try a softshell crawfish. Also, since the proceeds from sale of the softshell crawfish, we're going to medical expenses for the owner's daughter's liver transplant, I was happy to contribute to that cause. I would go back to Dukes again, but I would order something other than the softshell crawfish.

I went for the lunch buffet for $13.99 and feel like the BR location def has more options than the NOLA location (I haven't been to that spot in over a year though). There are some seafood options during lunch (salt and pepper crab, salmon, assortment of fish, and mussels) but if you want a wider variety, dinner is the way to go. I didn't try the sushi because the majority of them were always wiped out but the chefs in the back were doing their best to replenish whenever they could. Nothing to extraordinary with the sushi, I feel like you could get most of em at the grocery store. My favs at lunch were hands down the salmon and the baked mussels w cheese on top. The salmon was SEASONED SO WELL and I just kept going back for more. The mussels and cheese was def a hit too bc I could see the chefs restock every so often. There's unlimited boba (not included in the buffet) and I had the mango, which tasted watered down to me. The ice cream was amazing, got a mix of the taro and mango. The cakes were extremely dry and the mousse was the only thing saving it from totally crumbling in my mouth. For the most part, the food was piping hot, but there were a few options that were cold when I ate them, hence the 4 stars. The staff were incredibly sweet and would clean tables immediately after someone would leave.
