We ordered the Burger Sliders (4 mini burgers served on a buttery toasted buns with pickles and mustard with a load of seasoned curly fries) and the Wingsday platter (10 buffalo boneless wings served with a load of seasoned fries). The portions were huge and more than we could enjoy in one sitting. The service definitely complimented the food. Our waitress made it seem like we were her only table and anticipated our every need. The wings never disappoint. They always hit the same every single time. I always order mild boneless wings and they are usually delivered in 5 minutes. They come hot and ready, and they always have good music playing. The tables are clean and the seats are comfy and I said already but the wings are so goooood! Went expecting great crispy and saucy wings. Not so much. We were shocked at how all orders of our wings came out with basically no crisp to them. There was no fried batter at all. They were basically like plain wings placed in the over to cook, then covered in sauce. It was a complete letdown. We also ordered two types of the new strips. They had a bit more breading. One order of these (bbq) was drenched in BBQ sauce. I mean so much sauce that they were basically inedible. It was just too much to palate. They were also overcooked, which May account for the excessive sauce. But, it just made it all worst. I will say however, the strips we ordered with the Honey Chipotle sauce were the best thing we had on the visit. The sauce was very good. Theses strips were not overly saturated in sauce and were very good. These are what earned the 2 stars above. My overall opinion is: If you go to a wing place, the wings should be good. This was our first visit to this location and the first in almost 18 years that we have eaten at a Hooters restaurant. I'll start by saying there were a lot of people here today. It was too beautiful of a day not to go out. They took my name and phone number and while we waited outside in our car, we could look at a phone app and see how much longer our wait was going to be. That made the wait more bearable being able to see the number of people who were ahead of us get counted down. Once we were inside, we were seated in a booth. There was way more than 6 feet of clearance between us and the nearest people sitting by us, so we felt at ease removing our masks. Our server was Aubry and she was quick to take our drink orders. Once we had our drinks, we were ready to order our food. My wife does not eat chicken wings, so this trip was strictly to quench my desire for some good spicy chicken wings. She ordered a chicken tender plate and a side of curly fries. I ordered the 20 piece chicken wings off the menu and for my sauces, I chose "Hot" and "3-Mile", all breaded. It took a long time between ordering our food and actually receiving it. I don't know if it was because of the number of people there or if something was not working with their computer ordering system. Aubry kept checking on us and apologizing. We understood it was not her fault. When the food did arrive, it was nice and hot. I dove into the "Hot" sauced wings first. They really were not all that hot, but it was pleasant. I loved the sauce and plan on getting some from the grocery store on our next trip. The sauce also made for a great dipping sauce for the curly fries. By the time I had finished off these 10, I was almost full. I did manage to eat a couple of the "3-Mile" wings. Definitely had more heat than the "Hot" ones did, but were also full of flavor. Went with a girl friend last night and we had a blast! It was the first time I had ever been to a hooters. We ordered some drinks first and they were both delicious. The service was really fast and our waitress was nice enough to take a photo with us so we could show our husbands where we were knowing they would be jealous! The food was also delicious. It's a somewhat peppery barbecue and is $1 more than the other sauces, but it's worth it. They have a few different specials throughout the week. So it was veteran appreciation day, I came in later on in the day craving something spicy. On a Friday night, I sat myself near the bar. I requested for local news channel or something other then a old football documentary and I was told they cannot take it off any sport channels. My waitress who initially asisted me switched on me and never let me know i had a new waitress coming, unheard of. Who runs any business like that?! When I asked for a yuengling which was listed on the beer menu, the new waitress came back only to tell me they don't have that beer in stock although it's listed on the menu. This is my 3rd time this year I have given this location a chance, 3 strikes now. I ordered the buffalo chicken s'wich & the poor girl had to look up a menu to see if it was sliders or tenders after I told her I just want a buffalo chicken sandwich listed on the veteran special. The waiters did not introduce themselves or state their name & once again there hospitality was lacking. Honestly, I just wanted to walk out. After sitting their for 10 minutes I requested a menu besides the beer, it sadly did not come out. After I ordered the veteran special platter I asked again for a menu, this time after I got the food. Several of my buffalo chicken sliders seriously lacked sauce... deal breaker. Left the lsu game and wanted some crab legs, around 11:20pm me and my girlfriend show up and get seated in a booth, we are sitting down for 15 minutes multiple waitresses pass nobody acknowledges us.
