There are very few things holding this up as a 2 star. The main star of the show is their Hot crab claws. I've been here many times in the past and that one was always my favorite. They were still amazing but portion sizes have decreased concerning how much crab claws. Their drinks were nice. My server was very friendly and welcoming. Everything else is a hit or miss. The ambiance itself was just okay. They leave out their weekend buffet supplies all week long just taking up dining space, and overall ruining their aesthetic. Their crab and crawfish bake appetizer is 80% cheese and 20% filling. Not worth the money and way too greasy. Both the entrees were deeply under-seasoned. The steak was very pink on one side and unevenly cooked on the other side. A bug fell from their ceiling into the shrimp and crab cake Alfredo. The manager took a long time to come out and address the situation. Then I was promised OVER half off and the receipt showed a different story. It would be a valid conclusion to question the cleanliness here. I used to frequent here and enjoy it, so I was disappointed with this experience. read more

My first time here and it was good experience all around. Came in during restaurant week and was seated immediately. Started off with a recommendation from our waitress which was a frozen strawberry lemonade. So good! We ordered the artichoke dip, chicken Parmesan, shrimp pasta, Mardi Gras bread pudding and strawberry cheesecake parfait. The appetizer was amazing. The entrees were so much food we had leftovers and it all came out hot. Our server was so sweet and really helpful. It was nice and clean and a really pretty environment. The only thing we wished was that the dessert was better. The bread pudding barely had any sauce and the cheesecake parfait was small and underwhelming. read more

AMAZING!!!! We went for date night on Valentine's Day and this sealed the night. I'm a Copeland's girl so we wanted to try them out. They had a 45 minute wait but we didn't have to wait the full 45 minutes. The food was excellent and the service was great! I'm so glad we decided to try them out. Horrible experience The server was very nice and helpful, however a nightmare erupted when the food started coming out. But let me back up- Prior to the, the staff started sweeping, screaming across the restaurant, and acting rowdy. The place was sticky and nasty, music terrible, but I digress...... The food comes out , first nasty fried appetizers, and then the long wait..... 40 minutes for a cold chicken Parmesan to come out, only one other couple in the restaurant . 2 of us ordered the crawfish ravioli, the ravioli was fried too hard and had only a minimum bit of the crawfish sauce on it. Another ordered chicken fettichini the Noodles were very dry and sauce was also minimal . I wanted splenda for my tea took forever to get it. I tried to find myself but couldn't. Needed another glass never came. Had to ask for plastic utensils for my daughter, that took forever. The server was very slow, but nice to us. I won't be going back. My first experience about 4 years ago was awesome. I even said the crawfish ravioli and sauce was so good it made my toes curl. Was in Baton Rouge for school ball game and insisted my daughter take me back. We were all so disappointed. And my ticket was 116.00 including an 18 $ tip which was the minimum !! Me & my husband always come here, especially during restaurant week! We came to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. I got something new, the sweet heat shrimp wrap with sauce on the side & a side of sweet potatoes, and my husband got his normal order, chicken parm. These sweet potatoes are THE BEST I've ever had. They're super sweet, buttery, and have a sugar coating, which could be a lot for someone who doesn't like sweet things, but for me I LOVED IT. My wrap was delicious & my husband's parm was as well. We will continue coming back here. Service was also good. When we sat it did take 10 minutes for our server to greet us but she was busy behind the bar and it was totally fine. read more

Just Horrible I Say... Just Horrible For Saturday night, the restaurant was not crowded as usual, and we were seated immediately. A sign that the restaurant may have issues. Oh NO, out of Bud Light, what a bummer. No Barbeque sauce for the chicken tenders. No paper towel in the men's restroom gives the impression that employees DON'T wash their hands. Just to name a few. My family and I did NOT enjoy our visit to this restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered the fried Jazzy Wings jumbo chicken wings seasoned and tossed in a mild buffalo sauced lightly floured and fried extra crispy. Served with homemade ranch dressing for $16.99 and Crab and Crawfish Bake Lump crab meat, crawfish tails and artichoke hearts in a parmesan cheese sauce with crispy crouton toast for $13.99. For our entrees, we ordered two Fried Seafood Platter with jumbo gulf shrimp, crabcake, crispy catfish, French fries, corn fritters, garlic toast, and tartar sauce for. $25.99 each, two Crawfish Fettuccine with signature seasoned crawfish in parmesan cream sauce topped with green onions for.$20.99 each, and a Kids Chicken Tenders meal with fries. For dessert, we ordered three slices of cheesecake. The food was MEDIOCRE at best. The chicken wings were bland, and they were NOT cooked extra crispy or longer as requested due to the size of the wings resulting in wings that my family did not eat. The portion size of the crab and crawfish bake was small and had not crab meat and maybe two pieces of crawfish. The seafood platter was very small, and shrimps were NOT jumbo as advertised, just small shrimps. The crawfish fettuccine was bland, and they forgot to bring the biscuit that it came with. I refused my seafood platter and sent it back to the kitchen because the entrees and the appetizers all came out at the same time, even though the appetizers were ordered 20 minutes before the entrees. The only thing I tried was the appetizers and I did NOT have dinner tonight. I did not reorder the seafood platter because I was afraid, I would be served the same cold food that I sent back. I will NOT return to this restaurant. At $155.00, the food is NOT worth the cost. I've dined at this restaurant before, and the food and service were always very good. This place had really gone down. I used to love it when they had one in Mew Orleans. I'm a Copelands's Lagniappe Rewards's member so I enjoy the brand. I went with my daughter, her friend, and her friend's mom. The wait was longer than it should have been. Not because it was really busy but because the hostess was really confused and made it very clear that she was not interested in being at work. Once seated, we had 2 different waitresses. They were really nice and moved quickly but the food was tasteless and terrible. I packed it up to go but didn't even want it after I got home. I was not pleased with this visit at all!! read more

My wife and I went there to enjoy our 31st anniversary. It was such a great experience! The food was delicious and the service was awesome. What made it extra special was the service that we received from our server named DOMINICK! He we good in telling us about the food. Always came to see how we were doing or refill our drinks (which meant a lot to me). Then he turned us on to an unbelievable desert. We got the Peach fosters cheesecake (I think that's what it's called) he recommended the specialty list and boy did it work out great! We will be back again very soon. We had a great dining experience with Cheesecake Bistro's Sunday Brunch buffet. There was an incredible selection of both breakfast and lunch/dinner options. Everything was fresh and tasty. What made it even more of a delight was our server, Paige. She had such a positive attitude and checked on us regularly. Her recommendations were spot on, too. Definitely try the fried turkey. It was well seasoned and still juicy and tender. The restaurant is always clean and well maintained, with music at a level that still allows conversations to take place. We also took home cheesecake slices for a later dessert. I almost couldnt wait to dig into my Death by Chocolate piece! Visited on a Sunday after coming to town for the LSU game. We read that there could be long wait times but we didn't have a long wait. I think we may have been able to join the line ahead of time somehow to minimize it. We were seated in a both which was cozy for the two of us because we are tall but it worked. We ordered the crawfish omelette and some chicken wings. Both were seasoned well and they were good sized portions. The staff were polite and worked quickly to serve everyone. Glad we tried it.
