Brioche, bananas, that rich Bananas Foster flavor...it's definitely on the sweeter side, but if you're going to brunch, sometimes you just have to commit. LOL. The menu has enough variety that everybody at the table can usually find something, whether you want breakfast, something savory, or one of the heavier brunch dishes. Just keep in mind that some menu items use tasso or other pork-based ingredients, so I always pay attention to what's actually in the dish before ordering. The restaurant itself is bright, busy, and has that fun brunch energy without feeling too overdone. Service is generally good, although like most popular brunch spots, things can slow down when they're packed. read more

We waited 2.5 hours for this restaurant (did the wait list on Yelp and waited to come until we were #10 on the list). Despite that--as we knew there was a wait--the anticipation of having this place on my places to try for over a 1 year was deeply disappointing. We ordered the trifecta, the yo mama's peanut butter bacon burger, whipped strawberry cream mimosa, and a creamy vanilla iced coffee. The trifecta was the "best" thing out of the 2 entrees. The biscuits were good, however the items on item lacked flavor. The shrimp's creole tomato was lacking in spices. The egg cochon was the best out of the 3- The pork did melt and the sauce was great. The crispy fried chicken tasted like there was just batter thrown into the fryer then placed on top of the biscuit and drizzled with some cream sauce. The cream sauce I thought would at least help balance it out, but it still had no flavor. The Yo Mama's Peanut Butter Bacon Burger was sad. When I hear "peanut butter bacon" I think of a burger that is both gooey, Smokey, and slightly greasy. The peanut butter was just slabbed onto the bread and not evenly spread and so dry. The patties tasted so well done it felt like it was patties that they made extras to support lunch rush and was forgotten until we placed our order. I recommend that the peanut butter be melted down so that it oozes into the burger so it's not as dry and has more flavor. The cheese wasn't even melted into the patties... The whipped strawberry cream mimosa was yummy and I would recommend. It had the perfect amount of alcohol mixed with strawberry purée and cream foam. It was light and balanced. The creamy vanilla iced coffee tasted like milk. Did not taste like there was even any coffee. The cinnamon on top is a good splash once mixed in, but I recommend that more coffee be added to balance the sugar. read more

My son picked this restaurant for brunch and it was a great choice. The food was definitely delicious for all of us except one person. Her bacon and potatoes were not good to her. The drinks were delicious. My daughter n law said there was water on the bathroom floor and that's unfortunate because she is pregnant. Should probably put up signs or have someone check them periodically for things like that. The waitress Ashley was very nice and polite. She was very helpful with menu suggestions. I got the miga and it was outstanding. My husband got the hot chicken and French toast bites. Also amazing. Coffee is strong and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable. It is very pleasant inside and they have patio seating as well. NOTE to Business owner - you have enough customer photo's of your food. You don't need the business owner photo's. It does also come with a biscuit that was light and buttery. Creamy vanilla iced coffee - good. Nothing too special, definitely better than a chain like Starbucks, that's for sure. The beignets were a bit doughy, biscuit texture, the catfish was overcooked and chewy, the grits were real creamy which I did like, and the Whipped Pineapple Mimosa was fine. So the food didn't take long to come out and the food did look good when it came out , for the most part. The side fruit salad was not great. I would not recommend it. Also, the toast came out cold, which was odd. The golf shrimp omelette was great. I got it without cheese. The breakfast potatoes, the ones that were not too crispy, were good and the chicken sausage was exceptional. Very attentive to details down to labeling the correct items with proper dates without having to be constantly reminded or told. The bar is always clean with zero fruit flies anytime Nicole Brown is working as head bartender. When she's waitressing she's always accommodating to all guests/ children and pets . I am the mom of a child with level one autism and she was so patient with him and that means so much to mom's like me who struggle in public with the social aspect of our child's behavior. We often feel judged or ostracized because in all respects, our child's gifted or seemingly normal, but then the behavior issues come out. With Ashley, she was patient as we worked through his food choices which if you have a child with autism, you completely understand the limitations. Five minutes later, the waitress informed us that my friend's meal was ready before mine. I told her to bring it out so my friend wouldn't have to wait. My friend finished her entire entrée, and the waitress never came back to check on us, offer refills, or ask if she needed anything else. She needed syrup. When I got up to ask the lady standing near the kitchen window for ice water, she told me she would inform my waitress, then turned around and never went to find her.
