I've been here few times now for breakfast and brunch and the quality has been consistent every visit. My son decided to try his eggs a new way (basted). Our server ,Noah ,was such a treat. He explained all the different ways the eggs could be prepared and didn't rush to explain the menu. I highly recommend the build your own omelet option if you like to try different flavors ! I added salsa to mine and loved it.

Was in the area and stopped in around 10:30am on a Saturday. There was a 15 minute wait, which wasn't bad. We were seated in a booth and noticed there is a bar area with TVs playing the college football games. If we'd have known the bar was an option we would have gladly sat there. Service was good. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros (I recommend adding the Chorizo) and my husband ordered Biscuits Gravy with Sausage. The huevos rancheros were excellent- really yummy! Fried flour tortilla chips, green chile, chorizo, cheese and a fried egg - I'd order this again. My husband said the Biscuits and Gravy were ok - I tasted the biscuit - it was good - fluffy and nice flavor. I think it just wasn't as much food as he'd hoped - would have been better to order a side of eggs or something else also (next time).

I've visited this restaurant many times at different locations. No matter which one I go to, there's always a level of inconsistency or problem with the visit. It's easy to go to when you don't know where to go so I keep going. This visit, when I walked in, there were two others waiting and nobody to greet us. About 5 minutes later, the hostess walked up, was pleasant, greeted us, sat the couple before me and then sat me. As I walked to the table, I loudly moved through the restaurant due to the stickiness of the floor. In a side note, when I left and went to the mall, my shoes were sticking all along the way. The server was extremely nice, attentive, and quick, however it was concerning that he was serving my food while his nose was running. No joke, I literally started sneezing uncontrollably after the fact and could only pray that his nose didn't drip in my plate/coffee. I think all people preparing or serving food should wear a mask. I also don't like that they don't have fancy coffee for the fancy menu. I went basic on my meal. The best experience I had at Another Broken was downtown Baton Rouge. I really hate that they closed. BTW the chicken sausage isn't very good.

This restaurant was fantastic. We visited during LSUs family weekend and couldn't have been happier with our experience. Service was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. There were 6 of us and we each had something different. Apple fritter French toast, Chicken and Waffles, eggs Bennie's and goat cheese and lemon pancakes with fresh blueberries and possibly the best breakfast Ive ever eaten, grilled andouille sausage with poached eggs and blackened shrimp over the softest garlic focaccia with a delicious Cajun hollandaise. O and the City Grits with Gouda holy moly. Seriously can't wait to fly from California to Baton Rouge again to eat at this restaurant

A go-to brunch spot! Their black stone benedict can't be beat! There are so many great pancake/waffle/french toast options! And if you do have a sweet tooth, their chocolate milk comes dressed up like a glacee - I have to get one each time! With how busy they stay, service is great and efficient. All locations have an option to join their waitlist on the website which I love for saving some wait time!

I for one am a huge breakfast lover and this place hit the spot with breakfast! It has all the classic breakfasts you could possibly think of and a few more unique and delicious sounding options that make it hard to choose just one! Coffee and service seem to always be consistent here and I'm very happy with every time that I get to come here and enjoy my morning ! I can't wait to try more things from their menu !

When you walk in, there's an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. The hostess was friendly with her warm greeting and seated us promptly. (It was a Monday morning, so we didn't expect a wait) once we were seated, our server was quick to come and take our drink orders. They have an extensive drink menu, but we settled on coffee and tea, even though a mid-morning cocktail was very appealing! We ordered our food and it was brought to us in a very timely fashion. Everything was presented nicely. But what we found was most of the food was flavorless. We had to add a lot of salt and pepper to just about everything. I even had to ask for a side of sour cream to accompany my omelette. I noticed the table next to us opted for the country potatoes which were totally burnt!! Our server was very friendly and attentive, however, when it came to settle our bill, it took a little longer than expected. The biggest shock to us was that our bill was pretty high for breakfast for two people!! $55 for two people without cocktails seems a little steep to us, but I'm sure it's totally fine to most. The reason for the mid-rating is because there was nothing that made us both say "oh, we're definitely coming back again for this!" It's a fine place, but doesn't seem to hold the cost/value to us.

Outstanding service and tasty brunch at the Perkins Rd. branch of Another Broken Egg, in Baton Rouge, LA. The apple fritter French toast was absolutely delicious. We also ordered an omelet and a sandwich. The mimosas increased the atmosphere.

This place gives me a "Jimmys Egg" vibe. The service was great. Our server was nice and attentive. My guest got a side of biscuits and gravy. Gravy tasted average and had no meat in it. I got the cinnamon roll French toast and it was absolutely delicious! It tasted exactly like a cinnamon roll. I would definitely return and get the same thing. Probably not biscuits and gravy though:

So we decided to come out for a breakfast date this morning. We were greeted at the door. They wasn't too packed like usually so that was a plus for me. We were seat close to the bar area. Natalie was our waiter and she was awesome. She was very nice, polite and prompt. We both ordered the southwestern omelette with a side of bacon, grits, toast, and potatoes. Also we got a 1/2 order of Beignets. To drink orange juice, sweet tea with lemon, and water with lemon. Everything was great. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service.

That's where the surprise came from - it is really, really good! The baguette was toasted to perfection and balanced the amount of cheese very well. The pasta was refreshing and also surprisingly good. I thought it would be a very "tomatoey" salad, but it wasn't. All flavors are well balanced, mostly. Personally, I'm not a fan of green onions, so to me this pasta was a little heavy on those, but easy enough to pick them out. The Turkey Bistro also very delicious! The sun dried tomato mayo goes so well with the turkey. The toasted bread is a little hard so be cautious of that if it can be an issue. Tomato basil soup was very good, a little too chunky for my taste but still taste good. Loved the free dipping bread for soaking up all the delicious soups and sauces. They were able to play their hearts out while their dad and I ordered food and yummy coffee and tea drinks. The play area was very big with a male attendant supervising and assisting the kids there from 9-2. I somehow thought it would be free since we were buying food, but I guess since we didn't have to tend to our kids much, that's what we were paying for. It was $8 for one kid then $5 for additional kids for unlimited time as long as parents don't leave. This would actually be a steal of a deal for a work from home mom/dad like the moms I saw today working/doing schoolwork with their laptops while their kids played. There were lots of play options such as small monkey bars and slides, a puppet show area, a caterpillar tunnel, etc. Great for toddlers to perhaps 8 year olds. Compared to other food places with free play areas (like George's on George O'Neal with their outdoor play area), I would choose this one in a heartbeat. No worrying about weather, and the food here was healthier and just better in my opinion. The location on Bluebonnet just past Perkins is close proximity to the mall and much of BR population too. The service was exceptional, especially with the sweet owner, Melissa, there answering all my questions about the biz and making sure we were satisfied with everything. She informed me that this is only the 3rd Java Mama franchise in the US, and she clearly has freedom to change up her menu as 3 of the 4 paninis were named after her sons - so cute! I chose the chicken salad on croissant, and my husband chose the ham, turkey, avocado, etc. on croissant, both with fresh fruit as our side. I'm a chicken salad sandwich lover, and hers was definitely unique and scrumptious. I tried my husband's too, and it was so fresh and delicious. My girls tried the Wow butter and jelly and the 5 for $5 mix in muffin pans. My oldest flipped out when she discovered that the Wow butter was actually a type of peanut butter (which she loathes), but have no fear, the owner quickly made her an actual butter and jelly sandwich that my daughter gobbled up. The 5 for $5 was perfect for my 3.5 year old too and had great quality and heathy options. Overall, (meaning I'm ready to wrap up yet another epic review lol), I would definitely recommend this new business, especially for families. Not sure it will cater to people without kids unless you just decide to grab a quick bite of some yummy options. The prices were definitely higher than expected, but then great quality does warrant higher end cost. Pretty sure this will be my family's new favorite lunch hangout.
