The food here is simply amazing! They have a good variety on the menu to choose from. It's great for Breakfast and lunch. They're also black owned. The service is very friendly and the restaurant is very clean and inviting. But can we talk about how good the food is though?! Whew!!! THE FOOD IS FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!

Pretty ok, but nothing better than my Mommy's cooking. I probably ordered the wrong things... chicken too salty.

Tucked away in a little strip of businesses. Inside was clean with a clear list of specials written on a blackboard (they listen to customer feedback). Excited to see a full coffee selection. The waitress was pleasant. The locals eat here and have great things to say about the owner, the staff and the food. I ordered sort of a la cart style and got a nice selection for a great price. They were eager to take the Yelp coupon they were offering at the time. The food quality was good, the ambiance was quaint. Glad I stopped by.

My friend recommended this place to me when I visited Baton Rouge a few weeks ago. He eats here at least 4 times a week. I love the "hole in the wall" spots with excellent cooking! I had grits, eggs, steak and a homemade buttermilk biscuit with a large waffle also. I was amazed with the cost and taste reminded me of my grandmother's cooking.

As a chef myself I am soo picky about where I eat, but this place is fabulous. The building is nice and cozy but spacious as well with wonderful local art hanging on the walls. The t.v.s make for a nice and enjoyable atmosphere while you wait on your food. The menu is so vast from Breakfast to Dinner, even Smoothie and Coffee Items....Me and my husband both got the Fish,Shrimp and Fry combo. EVERYTHING WAS FRESH AND SEASONED PERFECTLY!!! The owner came and greeted our table and checked on us and the family feeling was very much in the air..I would recommend this place to anyone and I cant wait to go back.I also bought their seasonings and I cant wait to try them!

Huge omelet! The red stuff is hot sauce I put on it.

Read the reviews and decided I had to try this place before heading home to Shreveport. I wasn't disappointed! Ordered an omelet with all the veggies, turkey bacon and whole wheat toast. When I got the omelet I thought there's no way I'm eating all that, but it was too good to stop. My bread wasn't slathered in butter and the best part was the serve yourself coffee. If ever in Baton Rouge again I'll definitely be back!

Food was okay. Not worth the high pricing, especially when it tastes like everything was out of a can.

I also got a Lime Passion fruit tea with boba. We had 3 mochinuts: white chocolate, funnel cake and churro. Service was 0/10. The young lady at the front counter was not very friendly. She had a flat affect the entire time and when I ask her to explain her fruit teas, she responded "What do you mean? Like all of them?" Their fruit teas looked a little bit different from the tea we order at the mall. What can I say I'm ignorant to the teas but I'm trying to learn. I felt like a bother asking any questions because of her response so I went ahead and ordered one to try. My daughter's corn dog 10/10. My corn dog 5/10. I'm assuming the flaming hot makes the corn dog soggy because mine was not as crispy as my daughter's. Tea 2/10 I liked the flavor but there was a ton of pulp and it was not popping boba, rather chewy, and I'm not a fan of the texture. I would have avoided ordering had I had an explanation of the tea. Mochinuts 5/10 Churro was delicious. The other two were pretty dry and flavorless (my first time trying so maybe that's the norm). Overall review: Pros: Mozzarella corn dog is fire!!! The atmosphere is cute with table games and a claw machine for entertainment. Con: Poor service. Soggy flaming hot sausage corn dog.

I wasn't sure what to get and the sweet girl behind the counter helped out and suggested the potato half and half. I absolutely loved it. So crunchy and crispy and the cheese was so meaty. We sat and played the games that the restaurant provided giving it a cafe vibe. It was very nice. Heading back soon!

I take their vitamins and a supplement on the daily, and I know they are the right formulas because these folks pay attention to the products that bear their name. You can find whatever vitamins, minerals, herbs, and other supplements you might want, in various brands and formulations. Then there are the groceries and food products, it is a full-fledged old-school health food store. You can buy everything you might need here, in a nice small local store, run by friendly and helpful people who want to connect you with products that are good for you. It seems a better place to buy things that you need. But that's not all folks! Remember the name is Our Daily Bread, and boy do they have that as well as other baked products to enjoy. They have healthy hearty breads, from sweet to savory, in various forms from loaves to po-boy buns. Then there are cookies, muffins, and carob bars! So much baked goodness to choose from. And in recipes that are good for you, without all the additives and preservatives. Then there are the prepared foods. These include a soup of the day (roasted root veggie is my favorite), sandwiches made with their breads, and salads. Other options are also available, including healthy juices and smoothies, for those who prefer their nutrients in liquid form. Go shopping around lunch time and have a meal while you are there, you'll be glad you did!

The espresso was nicely dialed in, the notes were present and the barista served it wonderfully. The cinnamon roll was warmed up and freshly iced before being served. The matcha was so good, and a great choice to takeaway as a treat. The staff here really goes beyond to provide excellent service. This is my new go-to coffee spot in Baton Rouge. Thanks Coffee Joy!
