Great little spot.Flavorful! My first time trying crawfish egg rolls and definitely will try again!

I came to Rouls for lunch with my friends, and can't express how good the food is! Every single item was worth the price and cooked how I asked. I ordered the six buffalo wings which came with fries and my friends and I shared the cheesesteak eggrolls. To say you'll finish full and satisfied is an understatement! The wings were crispy but still saucy and the egg rolls were crispy too. When you're passing through, you gotta stop at Roul's!

Decided on the hot sausage poboy and wanted to try the onion rings. The poboy lacked sausage for sure, there might've been 2 patties on the sandwich that was cut up. Waaay too much salad on the poboy, and they just open the bread up and shove everything in there...one side is salad and the other side is a little bit of sausage. If better coordinated would be much better, and the onion rings were ok. I expected them to be handmade in house but they're like some frozen ones from Walmart or something. My brother had a Philly cheesesteak that looked phenomenal, I would love to try that. I paid $14 for the meal so that's a great price. Walk in and order and just sit down and wait. There's a little bit of seating not too much. I would gladly come back for a different food

Food is ok. Nothing good. I barely ate. Not a lot of flavor. Cheap product - but I guess good for a quick flavorless bite, if that's your thing.

Came here to the grand opening with good company and decided to give this place a go! We ordered buko stuff: from the secret hot chicken sandwich, Gyro and Shrimp burger (1/2 lb burger tipped with grilled gyro and shrimp), Large crawfish egg rolls, Large Philly cheese steak egg rolls, and lemon pepper fused hot Buffalo sauce chicken wings. In short.. THEY ALL WERE BUSSING! You're missing out on this place! Sham, the owner always cares about his customers dining experience at the restaurant. If you're not satisfied, he'll be sure to correct it. #batonrougela

I come to Roul's most days after class and can not express how good the food is. Although a little pricey, Roul's never disappoints. I come in and order the six hot lemon pepper wings which come with an option of regular fries or onion rings along with the infamous crawfish egg rolls. I have never left Roul's dissatisfied. The food is flavorful, the staff is friendly and it is very convenient considering that it is nothing but a 5 minute walk from me.

    The wings were raw inside!

Went back to Roul's today , What a disappointment! The service was "meh" , the food was very much not what I was used to from this location! The crawfish rolls were way spicy, not everyone wants very spicy food ! And they were soo good the times before when we bought them! Tried the chicken wings for the first time and all but two were half cooked ! Bleeding inside ! Also when you order your sauce on the side al least the wings could have seasoning on them ! So I guess we won't be going across town for awhile for food ! Maybe we will try the one by our house at LSU ! We just try to stick with what we thought was good ! But alas that has failed us ! So maybe your experience will be better!

Friendly staff! Fresh and so tasty food! Will be back! Thanks

Now they are in a much better, but still cozy, space on Government Street. This facility has indoor dining space, patio dining space, and plenty of parking, including a back overflow lot. Anthony's has been in business so long due to authentic Italian cuisine, including a great variety of take out deli items. If you need some real Italian grocery items for your home, there's a good chance you can get them at Anthony's. However, if you would rather let them prepare your meal for you, that's an excellent option as well. I think they have a first rate muffuletta, and it's important to have the right bread and meats for those. This is something they have covered! Their Po-Boys are also my favorites. These are pressed so they are crispy and flattened. I typically like to get these with a small salad, which is indeed an excellent choice. If you have room, there's always some great dessert choices. Another consideration is picking up something to take home for later, I think a tub of high quality imported olives are a good selection. Don't forget their cheeses as well, these can lift your home cooking to a higher level. Next time you are in the Government Street Arts and Entertainment District, drop into Anthony's for a bite, dessert, or take home items. You'll definitely thank yourself later!

Instead, the lettuce was literally COOKED like steaming hot and there was melty mozzarella cheese inside, which is odd because Caesar salads don't typically include mozzarella - just Parmesan. The tortilla didn't taste fresh, and i think they just took the whole wrap and pressed it flat in a panini press. The heat made the lettuce completely wilted, and this was the most disappointing chicken Caesar wrap I've ever experienced. There was also not enough chicken or fillings inside like overall it was a very small wrap for the price. The quality of their shredded chicken is great, but everything else was extremely subpar. After receiving mine with the mozzarella (lactose intolerant), I even decided to bite the bullet and order a second one (so I paid for two) and this time specified no cheese at all, and extra chicken. The second one STILL had cheese, and the same amount of chicken. The sweet potato fries were fine, and the build your own sandwich my boyfriend got was good. just don't do the wrap from here yall. I usually ask for a plain bagel whenever I get a bagel with smoked salmon but wanted to try something different. I have a feeling that this would have made a difference. I ended up deconstructing and only eating the salmon, cream cheese, spinach and capers on one half of the bagel, this made it a tad bit less saltier.
