    Nasty flower water
    Carl G.

They were out of the first three things ordered off the menu. When the order finally arrived, we were told that they were out of two ingredients for the dish (terrible prep and customer service). Flowers on the table were old, and their water was changed sometime in the 1940's which draws the gnats flying around them, some trash on the floor, and a smell. The person I can only assume was the manager was more worried about entertaining her friends than she was about the cafe. Then, the slap in the face, $4.75 for a 20oz to go cup of tea! The food was pretty good, once we got it. Overall, I would not go back.

Versatile, timeless, all day into evening engagements (as the name would suggest), established in 2020 and worth more than a single visit. Teamwork delivers a balanced Cappuccino and a beautiful Beignet (offered in singles) - toasty on the outside, hot & chewy on the inside. Stop in for before dinner drinks or afterwards for dessert!

Cute place with great coffee and French fries. I've been twice and the customer service has been great both times. It's a great spot to study, have some alone time or just catch up with friends. The food is decent. I didn't like the shrimp and grits and the beignets were fried hard but I could the potential. My only issue with the shrimp and grits were the cocktail shrimp in it. You can't call that shrimp and grits with two cocktail shrimp lol.

Our breakfast with heart and soul that was amazing !! Thank you.

An amazing breakfast and ambience with tunes of jazzy vibes. Real food !! I had the Savoury Beignet with gravy and poached egg over arugula. Amazing !! My daughter had Egg Bite Biscuit that was an egg and bacon biscuit, so good! Coffee is another 5 stars! Staff are pleasant and efficient. There is heart in food, hospitality and vibes!

I went on two separate occasions. The first time I got the iced matcha latte (with almond milk) and the second time I got the hot matcha latte (with almond milk). Both were great. The baristas were phenomenal. I also like the vibe of the cafe.

    Dubai chocolate matcha

Such a cool spot!! It's a cafe, bar, and restaurant all-in-one. I got the Dubai chocolate matcha which I loved. You couldn't really taste the matcha but the chocolate cold foam was delicious paired with the pistachio syrup. I got the flatbread and it was yummy! This location is amazing because it's open all day and has restaurant quality food. The inside is cozy with plenty of open space and seating. It's the perfect spot to study all day or date night or grab some drinks.

    Seared Tuna Salad

Location: It's convenient. We chose this place because it was within walking distance from our hotel. We could have chosen pretty much any other restaurant within the same block but decided that, due to the pictures, this place was worth the try. Ambience: It tries to convey a message of "something old and something new". The something new is brutalist: steel wire wall dividers, low seating chairs, exposed cement walls. The something old is an old piano in the corner and vintage furniture. Service: Nothing to note...which is a great thing. The front-of-house is young and courteous. We were greeted upon entering and given menus to look through. There was one food-runner, one bartender, and two people helming the register/café counter. We ordered fried shrimp bites, 3 Sister's Panini, and a Seared Tuna Salad. After seating ourselves with our number, one of the cashiers apologetically explained that they had run out of shrimp. She quickly took my adjustment and changed the bill. We ended up getting the Artichoke Dip, instead. Food: Artichoke Dip: warm and creamy. The chips were thin which complimented the dip well. The artichoke flavor could have been more pronounced, though. Three Sister's Panini: this was my friend's order and the critique he gave was "Great for the first two bites but soon became boring. Fries are great!". Take with that what you will, I didn't take a bite of the panini. Seared Ahi Tuna Salad: overall the flavors worked great. Fish and citrus is a tried-and-true combination. The salad dressing was light and tart so as to not overpower the delicate fish. There were also pieces of mandarin oranges tossed throughout to add more subtle sweetness and citrus. The salad was easy to eat and it did hit the spot. My only critique for the salad would be the way the tuna was prepared. The sear didn't reach the right high temperature so the exterior lacked the Maillard reaction that I was looking for. Either that or the tuna wasn't patted dry before being added to a hot pan. The color was a light grey. The fish was also chewy in many places due to the connective tissue still being present. I believe this is the reason why many places choose to cut their tuna completely into slices, a chewy fish has an awkward mouthfeel. Because the tissues were still connected at the base, I had to use my knife. The tuna ended up falling apart slightly due to my knife work. Flavor and texture of the fish, besides the tissues, was great. The fish was exceedingly tender which speaks to the quality. Conclusion: I would recommend this place. I didn't have the time to try the café or bar portions of the restaurant so I can't speak to those. The food is great for a nice afternoon meal!

    Vintage Flatbread
    Leodely R.

I tried the Vintage Flatbread, and though flatbreads tend to be crispier, ironically what I liked most about it as a girl with braces was the softness of the bread. The beignets were brought out overly brown with a barely-there sprinkle of powdered sugar, and they were tough to chew. Delicious and overpriced matcha, but maybe I got upcharged for a modification. Definitely DO NOT leave the table to the restroom, not even for a single minute- They'll clean the table, throw away the expensive drinks, and leave only your personal belongings that you left to clearly signal you weren't done yet. Overall the visit felt like a costly one-and-done, and the disposal of my 3/4 full expensive drink felt like insult to injury.

Cute spot in downtown, got the fancy smore beignet which was nice. Saw a lot of people getting work done/studying or lounging. There's a bar area too for drinks

The Vintage in Baton Rouge is a charming spot for coffee and treats. (Looks very cute as a bar too, but we came here during day time). I ordered a latte and some beignet bites, and both were great. The latte was smooth and well-crafted, while the beignet bites were light and fluffy. Although I didn't dine in, the ambiance of the restaurant is cozy, with a mix of vintage and modern decor that makes it unique. Service was friendly, though the wait for the beignets was a bit longer than expected.

Stopped by after the Blues Fest for an alcohol soaking snack and it was a great choice! The place is very cute and I loved the different seating options. Our waitress was very nice and patient.

Torn up and dirty all around. Hard to find a decent table.

Went on a Saturday at 4 and it was busy at all. The bartender is incredibly unfriendly. I asked for a recommendation between two drink choices and she wouldn't give one. Place feels very dirty. Drinks were decent. Didn't feel clean enough to order food from the kitchen so we had a drink and left.

    Marie Y.

Nice atmosphere, a bit pricy for a drink and the beignets were a tad bit overcooked. The wait is a bit long, especially when there was no line and it wasn't busy in the restaurant, about 10 minutes of waiting for an iced latte.

Both good choices. Overall, the wine pairing was okay. I like the appetizer pairing of a nice light, white bubbly prosecco. The second was a classic red wine to pair with a steak. The last wine is where I was not impressed. It was a dessert wine that had a smell similar to a distilled whiskey. I took a sip and decided I rather another glass of prosecco. Shout out to the server who was accommodating and swapped out that glass for what I requested. He didn't have to, but he did! The food was mouth watering delicious. We started off with the sauteed shrimp and the piquillo peppers. THANK GOD the piquillo peppers are a Solera regular. I will be getting them again. The shrimp were just okay, nothing out of this world. Second course was the filet with polenta. It was absolutely delicious and packed with flavors that complimented each other well. Final course we had the rum bread pudding and the manchego cheesecake. The manchego cheese is definitely a rich and an acquiring flavor. Without the blueberry sauce, you would think its just a slab of cheese. The rum bread pudding was spectacular. I have never loved a rum sauce with my bread pudding, but the Solera one kept me wanting more. Overall and enjoyable experience, with a couple minor foods that lack the razzle dazzle of a 5 star review.

She was so personable and attentive without being the least bit hovery. What a gem in the front of house! I started with a delightfully tangy cucumber martini and the dish I came in search of--beef carpaccio. It was beautifully presented and the flavors of quality beef, capers, shaved Parmesan, arugula and a tiny dash of red onion melded perfectly with the drizzles of delicious dressing. The drink and the app were batting 1000 and the pizza continued the streak. OMG the margharita pizza--I added mushrooms and halved cherry tomatoes--was perfectly fired. Sometimes, when dining alone, I won't eat all the crust, so I can enjoy the center of the pizza. Trust me when I say this is a pizza that you will want to eat every bite of the light crispy crust.
