IMPORTANT POINTS: 1) COMPLIMENTARY DRINK!!! I got a mimosa, of course. 2) Greeted with a smile once I walked through the door and I was politely walked through the different options available on their menu. 3) Beautiful decor! It feels super boujee with the gorgeous light fixtures. I always go to Orange Hand Car Wash a couple doors down for a car wash and I typically sit there for 30 minutes to 1 hour while I get my car wash. Today I decided to come to Roxy Nail Bar during my wait. It was the best decision ever! Such an incredible experience from the second I walked through the door. It's Tuesday at 3pm and there's hardly any clients in here. I loved that it wasn't super busy and that they were able to see me right away. Anne, the girl who greeted me at the door said hello with a big smile and walked me through the mani/pedi options on their menu. I was indecisive but she was patient with my decision. She even let me sit down in the pedicure chair to get comfortable while I decided on what package I wanted. They suggested the $59 mani/pedi package that included exfoliation as well as a 10 minute foot massage and 10 minute hand massage. I ended up getting gel on a my hands so it was an additional $12. No regrets. These ladies really took care of me. I'm so grateful for how hard they worked. They were smiling whenever they talked to me. And when they massaged me, they didn't mind that I closed my eyes and relaxed. Also, the pedicure chair massages you so it feels incredible the entire time. About one hour later, they were all done with my gel manicure and pedicure. They let me dry my toes while sitting in the pedicure chair which meant a longer time in the massage chair hehehehe. Anne came back around to talk to me at the end of the experience which I really appreciated. She gave me two menus and talked to me about the other services they offer. She even had Tiffany, the eyelash specialist, come and introduce herself to me. Tiffany brought her client over who had just gotten her lashes done and it was an incredible job. I may just have to come here next time I get lashes since they're having a deal! Rather than $100 for a full set, it's $80. Save $20. All in all, extremely happy with my experience here. It was relaxing. I didn't feel rushed by the ladies who were doing my nails and I really loved that every person that works here is smiling when they talk to you. They really do seem as though they love their job and they love to make their clients feel happy and comfortable. When I was finished, they let me use their restroom which is clean and pretty. Then I paid with Mindy at the front. She was so sweet to me! She was very grateful that I came in to give their business a chance and made me feel very welcome to come back. Im not going to lie but everywhere I went they would tell my dip powder doesn't work because my nails are oily or because the previous place i went didn't place the right steps. When I went here she told me the same thing they didn't apply the dipping powder the right way and she wasn't wrong going 3 weeks no chips no break! We walked in and sat for 30 minutes because they had taken too many walk ins and my goal was to leave at 1:30 (hour & a half for a pedicure and fill). Then a girl with an appointment at 1:00pm (keep in mind it is 12:40) walked in and they started going her hands and feet but I was told that "I'm going to start her and if I have time I will do your hands too". .. This place may look cute and clean but their customer service is trash. Do not waste your time. I've been coming here for years, never had a bas experience. The ladies here are so sweet they do the best job they take their time and make sure you like it the way you want. They also offer drinks and snacks that come with the treatment which is amazing!! I've also got my eyebrows done here before too, they were amazing at that too!! I have been to a lot of nail establishments in my days. I am someone who always likes to have well manicured nails and well pedicured feet. I came to this place because it's down the street from my house and my usual nail place still hasn't opened back up. I got a regular pedicure, I hate to say this but when the woman started off doing my nails, she seemed to be really attentive and then she asked what kind of pedicure I wanted and when I said a regular one, I saw the effort she put into my nails go significantly down. They are currently all different shapes and sizes which I can deal with, this is my first pedicure in months, but having the "I'll take what I can get attitude" is not something I particularly like taking. There's a dot on my big toe nail. She also cut off my skin on the side of my foot which I never asked her to do and I thought was kind of unprofessional. Overall not a horrid experience, but not my absolute favorite pedicure ever. read more

Due to Covid, I was unable to get my nails done at my local spot. I came in and needed an appointment ASAP for a family event. They were able to get me in and even stayed 1 hour late to see me without an appointment. They saw me but did not offer any of the refreshments or any upgrades on my services such as a manicure. (I didn't really mind because they got me in) Now, less than 2 weeks later I broke my nails. I broke two nails doing.... you'll never believe it....scratching my face. My face is still in tact, so it's become clear to me that these nails are not high quality. I paid more at this place than I normally do and my nails lasted for a short time. I've been here twice since it's opening. The first time I got my nails done was great. No complaints, but I also couldn't find anything really to praise about. Service was standard and pricing was on par in comparison to other salons. Today, I have a complaint. I arrived about 10 minutes after opening and was the only customer at the time. Things seemed to be going well, till they all of a sudden started getting busy with clients. Within half an hour, the customer count went from 1 (me) to 7 with not enough nail techs to go around. The one who was working on my nails ended up rushing through the gel process which left it with bubbles and just a sloppy job overall. I was literally there first, I should have had the better overall experience. I'm really annoyed and disappointed that I spent part of my day off there instead of somewhere that would have given me the time and quality I paid for. read more

I noticed this place opened recently near my home and since I had the day off, I stopped to check it out. I only got a simple pedi, but the staff was very friendly and attentive, offering me complimentary beverages and taking their time with everything. Kim gave me a perfect pedicure and didn't butcher my cuticles like some other nail techs have. The salon is brand new, clean, and tastefully decorated. The prices are very reasonable (see photo of service menu I posted). They also have a fantastic color selection with full ranges of OPI, Orly, and other top brands you trust. Tip on tips: if you want to tip on your card, tell them BEFORE they run it! It's doesn't have the tip line like some places, and I had to run home for cash! They were very sweet and understanding about my Oops, though. I will definitely be back! Great addition to the neighborhood! read more

First time here, found them on Yelp, pretty much because its closest to our home. Walked in, a man greeted me, he was very nice. Sat me down, gave me a drink menu, which I thought was pretty cool. I asked for water and was served with ice, straw and a bag of Chex Mix. Didnt eat it but I'm Loving it already. Linh was my nail tech. I have to say, she was one of the most best nail tech I've ever let work on my hand. She was VERY gentle, knows exactly what's she doing. She gave me cut cuticle and French manicure gel. I can tell she really does care and not rush working on you. I love it, not only how it looked but she took care of me. A true professional. Definitely will be back. I took a wrong turn, (ended up being a correct turn), and found Roxy Nails including a big banner that said 30% off! Awesome! I walked in and the met the 3 workers/owner, who were terrific! Inside this place is super clean and fancy. I did like it. They don't have a sitting area for people to wait...for a regular pedicure you get a total of a 5 minute message for both feet. It's cool that they have men working there, the only problem is that they put no attention to detail. I requested a flower design on my ring finger and as soon as I saw the old school five dot flower I knew it was a mistake coming here. I'm used to getting very detailed designs where my girl uses brushes, I should have just gotten my nails filled and painted a solid color. I'm a little disappointed because I'm not happy with the over all result and my daughter got a mani pedi and it was not good. She had a hair that had been painted over on her nail and we noticed it when we left, she pulled the hair and the polish got ruined. Most likely not returning here and I would not recommend this place. read more

I have given this place multiple tries being that it is the closest to me, however I've grown tired of how rude & openly racist they are as an establishment. Multiple times I have come in with an appointment & am still told to wait for 30-40 mins while other clients ;all older white women are immediately sat and worked on. My last appointment was immediately after my 12 hr shift and the women who did my nails was openly offended that I started falling asleep while she was doing my manicure. I was embarrassed at her remarks and I reluctantly apologized. I later asked to use the bathroom and she rudely asked if I could wait until she was done & I told her no I couldn't , she then aggressively pulled me out of the chair to "help" me. Unfortunately very sad with my experience from this nail salon. I went in on a Friday morning, after a recommendation from a friend and was very excited to try them out. I never get my nails done, so I wanted to treat myself to something. I got a dip manicure and was so disappointed in the work. They shaped my nails horribly and not how I asked, missed places on my nails, and the nails were bumpy. I asked for them to be fixed, to which they did their best to fix them (that was nice). But the following Monday, my nails started to break and on that Wednesday both of my thumb nails came completely off! By the Friday, a week after my dip manicure, all my nails started to come off, both my thumbs and my pinky nail has completely fallen off. With a dip manicure, they are promised to last more than 2 weeks, 3 weeks tops. So I called the salon to ask if I can have the nails fixed with a possible refund or at a discount, like what most salons do when a situation like this happens. The lady who answered the phone was so incredibly rude to me, said I couldn't get them fixed unless I remembered exactly who I had so my nails, and just told me to come in whenever and they will figure it out. So I showed up hoping for help, and when I got in half the staff came up to me and stared at my nails and yelled at the one who did my nails. I felt so bad, it was an accident/mistake, this stuff happens, I just wanted them fixed at that point. Well, the lady from the phone sat me down and said she would get me fixed and situated, told me to pick a color and someone will be over to help. I waited well over an hour until I got help, then someone finally came to help me with my new dip manicure. Now I'm more of a gel fan, but I figured an "eye for an eye" I got dip the same as the last so the refund/discount would be the same. Well I got glitter dip, and it wasn't until the end of the whole manicure when the nail stylist told me that the particular glitter dip I got doesn't show up very well. So there I was, with this dip glitter that wasn't really dip glitter without any possibility to change my mind. But whatever, nails got fixed. I go up to pay atleast half, and the nail stylist looks at me and tells me it's full price since I got a different color from before. AGAIN, I wasn't aware of that situation until after the whole damn thing. Also not only did I pay full price again, I paid more than my original dip manicure from the first Friday. At that point I was done, I basically just wasted $100 for two dip manicures that 1. Were not good, giving me awfully shaped nails and missing parts 2. Rude customer service 3. The salon pulling a couple fast ones on me making me feel Incredibly dumb and humiliated. I'm hoping the salon reads this review and I'd Reagan's that what they did was not nice, and to please be honest with their clients. If they had been honest with me when I came in to get it fixed, I would've just gotten the same color as before or even a gel manicure instead, but instead they decided to trick me. Hoping everyone else has a great experience here because the confidence of a great set of nails is beautiful and I'm hoping to maybe try them out again because some of the nail stylists there were very sweet! read more

Honestly i had one good experience with this salon out of 5 times so they get one star. the first time was great my nails didn't pop off, the second time i went, they had told me they had an eyelash technician and i decided to try them out since my first experience went well, so i go in and i specifically ask the eye lash tech that i want very full, my other place does them full all the time, she says it'll be $80 which is more than my place but I'm okay with that, she takes a whole hour so I'm thinking they're going to look great, so then my appointment comes to an end and they aren't full, they are not even natural, not sure what they were and her excuse is because my eyelashes are so small that's all she can do.. if that was true why didn't she just tell me no from the beginning , then she still charges me $80! It's the last appointment of the day so whatever i pay and left to my normal eyelash place called ultimate hair and nails in garden grove and they have NO problem fixing them. Fast forward to a week, and i have to get my nails done, 2 of them broke ( again from this place ) so i ended up taking them all off, and i really didnt want to go in and i should've just not gone in but it was 530 on a Friday and this place is down the street from my house , so i go in for a new set the lady was very nice but 4 of my nails popped off in the span of 24-48 hours. I go in on Monday to get them replaced and the owner says come back tomorrow we are busy, so i come in on Tuesday and replace the 4. I'm expecting that they are going to be free since everywhere usually does courtesy replacement for the first 5-7 days, nope she charges me $10, and was very rude about the whole situation from the beginning, when her technician was the one that didn't do the nails properly, I've never had 4 nails pop off anywhere else in the first 24-48 hours. I do not normally write reviews but I was so disappointed and frustrated with this place. I arrived a few minutes early for my first visit with them and immediately I felt rushed. A man started on removing my old dip then had me sit and wait all the wile kept saying choose color choose color. Then a lady came to start the rest of my nails and after both techs asked me if it was my first time I said yes never once did they mentioned a drink menu. My 5yr old was with me because I had no sitter and she was hungry and thirsty and kept saying mom im thirsty after seeing all the drinks being served and again never once did anyone offer me a drink menu that I had no idea about. I finally asked do you guys have a drink menu and the lady said yes and aggressively tossed it on the counter. I was told a thousand times pick your color mind you one hand of fingers were wrapped in foil and the other was being filled so how was I supposed to flip through any colors. I have natural nails and broke two, I asked for all my nails to match the two broken ones length and she did not do that I had to instruct her to file more and shape better I was so tempted to ask for the file and do it myself and I almost got up and walked out mid appointment. So basically after a very long anxiety appointment I felt super rushed, passed around and dismissed especially since it was my first time. I will never return to this place again. read more

I waited over 30 minutes for my scheduled appt. The water in the chair got cold and no one even bothered to offer to change it out. Not once did they offer a beverage (which they say is part of the experience) On top of it the pedicure states a 5 min massage. It was seriously 3 minutes, I watched the clock. It was ridiculous. This was a mixed experience for me. My mom took me to get my nails done for my birthday, about a week and a half ago, and wanted to take me here since she knew they had drinks and special menus for services. To be fair, it was kind of last minute, but we called ahead to make sure they could accommodate us. When we arrived, everyone working was busy with other clients. No problem, we picked out our nail polish and waited. Unfortunately, I didn't get anyone's names so I can't say who is who, but here's what happened: One woman, seemingly in charge, got my pedicure going. She was very quick and tried to make sure we were taken care of, but she's also just one woman. She gave my mom and I menus and sat us both down in chairs. We both picked the Deluxe mani/pedi w/gel polish for our hands. No acrylics or forms, no designs. Pretty straightforward. The lady who did my pedicure was fantastic. She was careful to avoid a bruise I had gotten a couple days prior, and made sure everything that was part of the package, hot stone massage, etc, was taken care of, even got my mom and I mimosas. No one helped my mom, though. She waited another 15 or so minutes before anyone started doing any of her services. I definitely tipped my nail tech for my pedicure. The nail tech who did my gel mani was another story. Unfriendly, and just ignored what I wanted (outside of color). She even cut my cuticle and I bled. I definitely felt it, but I was looking away (so as not to unintentionally move my hands by watching her), she never acknowledged it or try to stop the bleeding until she was ready to finish prepping my nail. Never apologized or said anything. Then, when she was finished painting my nails, she noticed one of them had started fanning out (didn't correct this earlier) and she clipped and filed it AFTER the gel. No other top coat or anything, and went to do something else. It started peeling as soon as I left. I also have noticed, in the past week, while they looked nice originally, the gel is lifting up from my cuticle area on all my fingers. Overall, it took the two of us about an hour and a half for great pedicures and subpar manis. I would try this place again, with an appointment, but it won't be a regular spot. read more
