I brought my daughter and her friend in to get gel nails, and unfortunately both girls ended up with small cuts during the service. My daughter's cut was worse, and I felt the nail technician was not careful enough while working on her nails. She also came across a bit rough and not very warm with my daughter, who was very well behaved the entire time. The salon did give me a discount for the inconvenience, which I appreciated, but I still don't think it's acceptable for both kids to leave with cuts. A nail appointment should feel safe and enjoyable, especially for children. I hope they take more care with younger customers in the future. read more

I've been coming here to get my nails done for 10 years. Today I came in for my fill with Lynn and ended up having to bring my 2 year old with me last min. I was nervous bringing a 2 year old to the salon. But from the moment we walked in everyone was so sweet with her. The interior is always clean, all the ladies wear gloves, they have a great selection of colors, and something is always playing on TV to help the time pass. I've been coming to this nail salon on and off for years. But more recently I have been more consistent. I usually get a gel mani and regular polish pedicure and occasionally will have my eyebrows waxed. Call to make an appointment is the way to go but they're flexible. I once had a polish chip and nail crack. I called that in and spoke with Lynn. She told me to just come back and they would fix it. Sure enough that they did and didn't want to charge me either. But because I've had a generally great experience with the salon, I did pay for the fix. There are plenty of pedi chairs and you can get both fingernails and toenails done simultaneously provided there are enough free Nail techs. Went in for a regular mani and gel removal for $26 (which is not the issue). The nail tech was polite but the service was just subpar. She used ice cold water to soak my nails. After using the drill to remove the gel she didn't wipe any of the dust off of my hands. She just proceeded to give me a "massage." Which was painful and short lived, rubbing in the dust from the gel polish into my skin. Then when I got to the car I realized she had left my clearly broken nail unfixed. I've been there before and went there today on a time crunch (non prime time) so I wouldn't expect that at any decent place after 5 or on a weekend. My long story short is I brought my own polish I was excited to try but then the gal next to me. Omg I loved her toes! So I did what she did, then she left and another gal was next to me and she said wow I love your toes! I said I wasn't responsible lol I used the same color as the other gal. So she did the same. We were laughing because I'm quite certain if someone else came and sat next to her she'd also want the same. I took a pic of mine but it's dark now so it doesn't do it justice. I came here a few weeks ago to get ready for my anniversary celebration. I got a full acrylic set and gel pedi. I don't have anything bad to say. The staff was polite and the work was decent. But I don't normally go to a nail salon because of my very busy life, and I wanted to feel pampered and relaxed while I was here. I felt kinda rushed and the service was a little hectic because I had 2 girls working on me at the same time. Once my hands were done, however, the pedicure felt great once I was able to actually rest my hands. This place is clean and efficient. I found Golden Nail Bar because I was looking for a luxurious pedicure. I wanted a pedicure with a good foot massage to relax after a long week of work but the Luxury Pedicure ($40) I got here had terrible execution. The Luxury Pedicure comes with everything a regular pedicure comes with in addition to a callus treatment, exfoliation scrub, mask, warm towel wrap, paraffin wax and a fifteen minute foot massage. The nail shop itself was really nice with massage chairs and they use a plastic lining for sanitary purposes. It was the nail technician who was weak in both skill and strength. She was sky and meek and her personality reflected on the service. She gave me the most miserable pedicure where she barely removed any cuticle. The callus rub was weak. I notice other technicians at the same shop had a tool for callus removal, but the one I had did not. She just used the regular pumus and weakly rubbed barely anything off. It was terribleeeee. And even her massage was weaker than a child rubbing lotion on your leg. Biggest waste of money ever. I left more annoyed and stressed out than when I first walked in. I would never come back, but I recognize how other technicians would have been better. Still, the owner hired this individual, so I'll let the good and bad reviews balance itself out. read more

I had the BEST gel manicure I have ever had here!!! Stumbled across this gem after my usual local place was packed, two days in a row. Yelp didn't disappoint. Plenty of parking and easy to find. I felt safe in my mask, plus there was a plexiglass barrier between my technician and me. Yay! Lilly was incredibly meticulous, sweet, and paid so much attention to detail. I'm not sure if it's the person I got or the place over all, but Lyn was very good and meticulous in her work. I got a full set for $35 and was out of there within the hour. I love the way Lyn did my nails because she applied just enough powder to not have to go over it again with the machine, which could take extra time if the manicurist packs on too much powder.
