Edit in response to owner's comment: Another reason to avoid this place -- the owner is lying through her teeth to save face. They definitely OFFER DISCOUNTS IN EXCHANGE FOR REVIEWS (or at least did when I went) because they literally asked my sister about it as she was paying. Also saying tools from the "soiled" box are actually clean is next level bull****. As someone who has worked in beauty, soiled boxes are reserved for tools that have already been used on clients and are not yet disinfected. California LAW literally says this: "All tools that have been used on a client or soiled in any manner shall be placed in a box labeled dirty, soiled, or contaminated" ALSO Cici also never "recommended" acrylics to me. Instead, she just started gluing acrylics to my nails as soon as I sat down while nodding and lying that she was doing builder gel for me (in the hopes that I would be fooled and that her work might be a bit easier for it). I wouldn't mind if she had just been honest but I hate being deceived. I also wouldn't mind if my nails turned out anything like the inspo photo but she just literally sucks at doing nails (the picture speaks for itself). Everyone beware -- these 900 something "positive" reviews are likely all incentivized reviews in my opinion (discount in exchange for a review). I got my nails done here with Cici and asked for builder gel but she started gluing acrylics to my nails. I kept asking her if something was wrong bc she was legit not doing builder gel and I just gave up because she kept telling me she was doing builder gel (the gaslighting was next level). Next she was using DIRTY TOOLS!! Ask me how I know (she was whipping stuff out of a box labeled SOILED). My nails literally looked horribly crooked and bumpy at the end and I just had to say YOLO and move on. It wasn't that cheap either. I'm not usually one to leave a negative review but I just want to warn y'all as I think it's really deceptive to offer discounts in exchange for reviews without disclosure. I would go somewhere else babes.
Had a nice if not slightly rushed experience here last week for a new hard gel set with gel polish. They did get me in when I called the day before for a Friday appt which was nice. The girl who did my nails Olivia did a great job, though she mentioned she usually lashes and recommended a few other girls for my next visit. Prices were good and the salon was nice enough, I'll probably be back!
Everyone is so nice and attentive! They're also very efficient and always on task! My nails came out amazing and what I wanted!
The women here are super talented. At this point I've been here multiple times and each time, my design is exactly the way I want it. They shape your nails exactly as you want as well. The inside is fairly clean and its nicely decorated. My only complaint is when getting a fill, the nail technicians file the gel/dip powder down instead of soaking it off and then filing it off. It hurts when they do this, which makes me think it isn't normal? I've been to other places and my nails are always wrapped with acetone to remove the powder/gel. I only come back here because the designs really are super well done.

I've been going to Terry at Lush Nails for over 5 years now, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my nails. My nails are my guilty pleasure so I want someone who gets as much joy out of them as I do when I see them. Terry is absolutely phenomenal at what she does. No matter what idea or inspiration I bring her (a photo I saw on IG, a new trend, or some really random idea I think that could work), she brings it to life every single time. Her creativity and skill are unmatched and her attention to detail is my favorite. She is incredibly meticulous when it comes to filing and shaping, and you can tell she truly cares about the quality of her work. My nails always come out looking clean, polished, and perfectly structured. I've moved to Los Angeles and still make it a point to drive out to Tustin just for Terry to do my nails; that's how good she is. Cannot recommend her and Lush Nails enough!!
Update in response to owners reply: The owner is lying through her teeth on her response. They did not recommend a new set. They were recommending me a FILL. That is not a professional decision if you saw lifting on my nails. And when I asked how much for a fill you were charging me full price. I shouldn't be getting charged full price when my set only lasted 8 days before breaking. I was never once given the option to repair, you were trying to charge for everything single thing that was recommended. I was given any options for discounts or understanding for 8 days not being normal for Builder Gel that's supposed to last 3-4 weeks. Thats sad that this salon owner is comfortable to lie on here about what happened to a customer. Do not go here. Im really disappointed in having to write this review for a nail salon Ive been coming to for years. You can see my past review with this salon from over 8 years ago. In late June, I got a builder gel set for the first time for fourth of July with Helen and I loved how they came out. Although when getting a fill on 7/12 with Tori, I have had issues with lifting and breakage over a span of less than two weeks. This salon uses a great quality hard builder gel, IBD - Hard Gel LED / UV Clear, which should last 3-4 weeks when applied properly. Although my first nail broke within 8 days from a crack on its side, which is a sign of improper application, there was nothing other than normal use with these nails. Although the salon fixed it free of charge which I was pleased with. Unfortunately 5 days later, with my nails being only 13 days old, two more nails broke yesterday, 7/25. When I reached out to the salon they told me to come in to take a look, I expressed my dissatisfaction and was told two weeks is normal. When arriving they told me to sit and I waited for a nail tech. I had to explain my problem with multiple nail techs until they finally brought out the manager who I spoke with on the phone. I don't understand why she didn't approach me right away when I already spoke with her, this felt really unprofessional to have to repeat my situation over and over. All three of the techs who listened to my issue all kept trying to charge me for a fill and new set, after I repeatedly requested to get the nails removed because they have consistently broke on me and are lifting off of my natural nail. The manager tried to blame it on my nails, saying they are weak. I felt my dissatisfaction was not heard because she still tried to tell me to get a fill for full price. Which after seeing my natural nail is lifted is extremely unsanitary and I could get bacteria build up? I don't understand how the salon could recommend this solution and then want to charge me full price for it. The manager seemed upset and walked away from me when I requested to just remove my nails free of charge. I have spent over thousands of dollars to this salon and I don't understand how they couldn't sacrifice a $15 charge to remove the nails for me, an upset customer who is dissatisfied with the service. Spending $65 on a fill that only lasts 8 days without breaking is ridiculous. She was only willing to offer me $5 discount to remove it and still wanted me to pay them $10. I would never again recommend this salon to anyone after the way I was treated, it was so embarrassing to have to repeatedly explain myself and not be listened to as a customer.
Unfortunately, I'm really disappointed with my French polish change experience. I was expecting clean, precise French lines, but the finished result looked sloppy and uneven. Some areas appeared smudged, and the white tips were not clean or consistent. I understand no service is perfect, but this felt rushed and did not reflect the quality I expected
The service was amazing along with the nails. The vibe is like an aesthetic white pink kind of thing. Employees are very nice.
I was in town visiting and needed a place to get my nails done. I'm usually very hesitant of trying new places since I've had bad experiences in the past. I found this place, and figured I'd give it a go! I absolutely loved the environment, Terry did an amazing job on my nails, she was quick and efficient and beyond sweet! Now I only wish I lived closer!! 10/10 will be back next time!
If you're looking for your go to nail salon in OC definitely make a trip to Lush. I've been coming here for over two years and they never disappoint. I got my nails done by Heidi and she is so so talented. She always takes the time to make sure my nails are perfect and exactly like whatever inspo I show her. I had a VERY disappointing & frustrating experience at this nail salon. I called ahead to explain the issue with my nails, the salon told me to come in so they could check them and fix the problem. I trusted their word and came in for my 5:00 PM appointment on time. However, once I arrived, I was made to wait an additional 30 minutes just to speak with the nail technician. After waiting that long, I was told that my nails would not be fixed. I don't understand why I was asked to come in at all if there was never any intention to resolve the issue. The nail technician, Heidi, originally did my nails with a gold finish. Within only 10 days***, the color had already turned into a rusty, copper-like finish. She was late to my original appointment and rushed through the service. When I came back to address the issue, instead of taking responsibility or offering a solution, she blamed normal daily nail use and said it was my fault. That explanation is unreasonable for a nail service that didn't even last 2 weeks. I was then made to wait again, only to be told the nails would not be redone because the gel had not fully come off. This entire experience felt dismissive and unprofessional. I will never recommend this nail salon to anyone. If you are paying close to $90 with tip, this place does not deserve your time or money.

The lady cut my toe nails so short that it was hurting when she filed it. I asked 3 times if she could do acrylic on my big toe to make it square since the side of it broke so it could match the other foot and she didn't do it. These aren't even square and she kept cutting the side of my toe nails and filing them back when they were too short and hurt. I've been coming. Here for a long time this is probably the worst shaping I've ever gotten here. I could have done my own shaping better than that at home. Just ridiculous *** it was around 5-7 weeks since my last pedicure so my toes were not "really short" besides the big toe that broke. I added another picture to show that she was filing into my toe nails after cutting them super short as short as she could get them and made half of them round and tiny. She also cut the sides of the nails which you aren't supposed to do due to infection and hang nails. I asked her not to do this. there was no reason for her to cut the sides of my nails on one foot and not the other leaving with me with uneven toes. I appreciate the response but I feel that there should be an attempt to fix the situation instead of making excuses or insinuating that I'm making this up. read more

This is my go to place. I absolutely love coming here!! I don't even live in the area, I'm coming from Riverside, but I plan out once a month to get my nails done with Hana when I'm in the area. Hana is amazing!! She's so precise and so sweet. I definitely recommend booking with her :) read more

Was going to this place from past 4 years. No matter who I had picked, the nail technicians service was always good. Went there for mani pedi today, but got so disappointed with the service. I had a design picture which I didn't knew is a 3D design. If it was told beforehand, I would have asked for something else. It's not fair to tell the details to customer when you already put the nail paint on acrylic nails. Even after that I was okay if it's not going to be exact same design but at least follow the design in the picture. So many flaws (nail designs were switched between fingers, lines were not straight and clear, messy hearts). It's sad to leave a spot which you enjoyed for last 4 years but I cannot trust the services anymore. Best wishes to everybody in the studio for future growth and success. read more

I come here every so often to get my manicure, I've had good experiences so far. I don't usually do anything too elaborate just gel nails and they usually come in great! This time around I asked for a simple gel nail with gold lines on the cuticle area - make it minimalist. The lady was able to do it with the help of others and I loved how it turned out. read more

Don't go to this nail salon unless you want a "ring of fire" nails. Incredibly damaged almost down to the skin lines from when the cuticles were removed. This is 3 weeks growth from the time it was damaged btw. Yes I told the nail technician it was damaged at the time of the manicure and they lied to my face and denied it. Well this picture is proof it is damaged horribly and will take at least 4 months to grow out... Over 20 days later no apologies and no money back offered. Horrible service and lack of customer care. They would rather rush for an extra client and make an extra buck. read more

DONT GO TO KIM! I have been a loyal customer here for over 10 years. I came in because I needed to get one nail fixed. Kim sat me down and began working on my nail. She added an acrylic nail on my finger and then added gel. I mentioned mid service that the nail was a little bit crooked. She said I know I'll fix it. She then continued doing the service and finished. By the time it was time for me to pay, she had left and I mentioned to Kelly and the lady at the front desk that I was unhappy with how thick the nail was. They said no problem and asked Kim to fix it. Once I was sat back down she fixed the thickness of the nail and began filing and filing and filing my nail. (Reminder she added an acrylic nail). She filed my nail so much that she got the edge of the nail and I started pulling away because at this point there was no more nail to file. She was filing my skin. I left with tears in my eyes because of the pain. I didn't want to make any more complaints because like I said I've been coming here for years and I just dont think it's anyone else's fault but the nail techs. My nail was not only poorly done but my nail also hurt so much from the filing. Clearly you can tell from the picture which nail was poorly done and damaged. Overall, love this salon but do NOT go to Kim!!! read more

Obsessed with my nails! Thank you Tori! My hairdresser had the same nails, she told me who and where she got them. It was lush with Tori-I showed her the picture and she immediately knew what to do. This place was great. Definitely quite busy for a Saturday but what more can you expect? I had an appointment at 12, showed up at 12:05 and was started on by 1215, and out the door by 1:30. Honestly pretty impressive for having dip, nails and a gel pedicure by Demi, who was also excellent! read more
