Yen is my go-to nail tech and she's amazing and always gets my nails done within 30 minutes. I've never had any issues with her work. I've paid over $120 at other salons for Gel-X with designs, but here I usually spend around $50-$60. I switch it up depending on my mood: tip and dip, Gel-X with designs, cat eye, or gel and the pricing is always fair for the quality. Definitely try to go on a weekday during their happy hour specials for even better deals! Also, don't skip the pedicure especially the deluxe pedicure. It's such a nice treat. You get a 10-minute leg massage, hot wax treatment on your feet, and everything is cleaned off with a hot towel. Super relaxing and worth it. Great service, great prices, and consistent quality. I came in for the first time and made appointments for both manicure care and pedicure at 1:30. Shortly after I arrived, another lady came in with a 2:00 appointment and was told to wait another 20 minutes, so she ended up leaving. Also they never told me they only take cash so the payment was annoyed to me because clearly they take Venmo just rather save money so told me to go get cash! Then another customer walked in saying she had a 2:30 appointment. At that point, a staff member began yelling at me in front of two other customers, asking why I didn't mention everything over the phone -- which I clearly did when I made my appointment. The situation became extremely uncomfortable, and she continued yelling very loudly without stopping. I honestly couldn't believe a business would treat a first-time customer this way. Despite the experience, I still paid for my manicure even though I seriously considered walking out because of the treatment. Unfortunately, this place is now blacklisted for me!! read more

A solid nail spot! Came by today and got a pedicure, this spot is located in a plaza with plenty of parking, between a Donut shop and Cigar shop (which is why it kinda smells like smoke when you enter, but that goes away once you're seated). I had called ahead so there was no wait (I recommend doing that at any spot in OC), and was promptly seated. The seats are great and have a nice massage function, I also loved that they had the risers for your feet so you don't have to hover when getting your feet scrubbed (more places need to use the risers!). I got a deluxe pedicure and the service was great, my technician was very attentive and took her time, making sure everything was exactly to my liking. The value was definitely there too, as this was about $10 less than most places around. I also love that they accept digital payments like Apple Cash, making it super convenient to pay after. The technician barely paid attention to what he was doing, and when he said my nails were "finished," I immediately noticed that the sides of several nails weren't even covered with polish. It was disheartening to point it out and have him simply buff the surface and add one quick coat instead of actually fixing the issue. What upset me even more was that just three days later, the gel on my right thumb peeled off completely in one piece. After spending money and trusting a professional, this was extremely frustrating and honestly made me feel like my time and expectations didn't matter. I came in as a walk in when the shop had techs without customers and yet when the lady started on my dip she was very rushed and like another review said, minimal prep... dip in less than 30 mins. Okay efficiency but the quality didn't follow. Didn't even realize she was done, until she got up and left. I looked at my nails and told her it doesn't look right on the edges (lack of filing and uneven dip technique), she then came over and filed one nail of many and said it'll wash off. I've come here twice now for their amazing gelx prices. Compared to other places, the quality and swiftness of the service exceeds everywhere else. I've only gotten simple designs so far, and from my experience, it only takes max 40 minutes for them to be done. The only downside is that there's no extensive cuticle prep, but I personally don't mind considering how quick and efficient they are. My sets have lasted for up to 4 weeks, with little to no lifting! The nails are quite strong and sturdy as well. Definitely check them out if you can, because it's worth it. I was looking for a decent priced nail salon before going on vacation. I found this place as a sponsored ad on Yelp and also went to their instagram page. I saw they offer a happy hour - $45 gel x set with one color and a $30 gel pedicure! Such a steal with how priced all other salons are. It was $10 extra for the ombré on the hands and $5 extra for the french tip on the toes. I was way more willing to pay the extra and tip more with the cost being where it was. The girl who did my pedicure was so precise and did one of the best jobs I've had in 10 years. The guy who did my nails did well, a little rough at times. My nails have stayed well and no issues with the paint or integrity of the Gel X. I liked the vibe of the place - mellow and used their TV for music instead of cable with subtitles on. read more

It was super sloppy, my nails are uneven, he missed a few coats of polish and I asked for Polk-a-dots nails and some are already scratching off (it's been less than 24 hours). I need these nails to last me as I am going on vacation. However, I feel like they probably won't because he missed a few coats of things. Lastly, cherry on top was I got bitten by mosquitoes while waiting. The shop is decently priced but the quality and attention was not there. I knew at the moment he started it was going to be downhill. I am pretty upset with the outcome and the wasted time.
