I was in town and needed my nails done at the last minute, so I picked this salon because it had almost 5 stars and a ton of positive reviews. After my appointment, I went back and read the negative reviews, and honestly, those matched my experience much more closely. The first red flag was that I walked in to ask about pricing, then left to think about it, and one of the employees actually came out into the parking lot to convince me to come back. That immediately felt off. The second red flag was that I asked for almond-shaped acrylics, and the technician immediately started putting tips on without ever asking what length I wanted. He just assumed I wanted them short. By that point I was already committed, so I just went with it. As the service went on, I also noticed the salon wasn't as clean as I would expect. There were leftover decorations up and everything was just dirty and had stains on it, and debris around the work area, and it just didn't give me a great feeling. To be fair, the pedicure came out really nice. They opened what appeared to be a sealed pack of sanitized tools, which I appreciated, and I'm happy with how my toes turned out. The acrylic nails, though, were another story. The technician left noticeable gaps between the acrylic and my cuticles, as well as along the sides of my nails. They're also extremely thick. My boyfriend, who normally doesn't notice nails at all, actually asked if they were press-ons because they looked so bulky and fake. It's only been about a week, and because of the large gap near the cuticle, they already look like they've grown out for several weeks. I know sometimes a last-minute appointment is all you can get, and that's why I stayed. But if I could do it over again, I would have gone somewhere else. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR "HAPPY HOUR", DO NOT TRY TO SAVE MONEY HERE! I decided to give this salon a try because of their Happy Hour special ($25 gel manicure and $20 pedicure), but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. The biggest issue for me was sanitation. As someone who takes cleanliness seriously, especially when trying a new salon, I brought a brand-new cuticle trimmer and my own personal nail kit that was still sealed in its original packaging. I only asked the technician to use it after I observed him preparing to use tools that appeared to have just been used on the customer immediately before me. The service itself felt extremely rushed. I had gone in with my mom and we were both going to get the same thing, yet while she was still receiving her pedicure, the technician had already completed BOTH my pedicure and manicure. I had not had my nails done in 3-4 months, so there was plenty of cuticle and nail maintenance that needed attention. Instead, he barely touched my cuticles, did not properly shape or file my nails straight, and made no effort to trim or clean them up. The polish application was sloppy, uneven, and looked rushed. To make matters worse, he accidentally messed up my thumbnail while applying the top coat. Rather than properly fixing it, he simply painted over the damaged area and sent me on my way. When I politely expressed my concerns, another employee dismissed them and claimed my cuticle trimmer was "old," even though the technician had opened it from its sealed packaging himself. When I explained that my concern was sanitation and that I had seen tools being reused between customers, my concerns were brushed aside. The technician's attempt to "fix" the manicure only made it look worse. As if that wasn't enough, I nearly slipped on a puddle of water on the floor while leaving. Only after I almost fell did staff warn me to be careful. A wet floor in a customer area is a serious safety hazard and should not have been left unattended. I own a business myself and understand that mistakes happen. I remained polite throughout the entire visit and simply expected basic cleanliness, quality workmanship, and professional customer service. Instead, I felt rushed, dismissed, and disappointed. If sanitation, customer service, and quality matter to you, I would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere. read more

I came in for the first time and made appointments for both manicure care and pedicure at 1:30. Shortly after I arrived, another lady came in with a 2:00 appointment and was told to wait another 20 minutes, so she ended up leaving. Also they never told me they only take cash so the payment was annoyed to me because clearly they take Venmo just rather save money so told me to go get cash! Then another customer walked in saying she had a 2:30 appointment. At that point, a staff member began yelling at me in front of two other customers, asking why I didn't mention everything over the phone -- which I clearly did when I made my appointment. The situation became extremely uncomfortable, and she continued yelling very loudly without stopping. I honestly couldn't believe a business would treat a first-time customer this way. Despite the experience, I still paid for my manicure even though I seriously considered walking out because of the treatment. Unfortunately, this place is now blacklisted for me!! read more

Then 2 more customer showed up who missed their appointment and the guy started rushing on my nails...they look okay from inside the shop, but looking at it closely the application is so messy and there's smudges on my cateye. A solid nail spot! Came by today and got a pedicure, this spot is located in a plaza with plenty of parking, between a Donut shop and Cigar shop (which is why it kinda smells like smoke when you enter, but that goes away once you're seated). I had called ahead so there was no wait (I recommend doing that at any spot in OC), and was promptly seated. The seats are great and have a nice massage function, I also loved that they had the risers for your feet so you don't have to hover when getting your feet scrubbed (more places need to use the risers!). I got a deluxe pedicure and the service was great, my technician was very attentive and took her time, making sure everything was exactly to my liking. The value was definitely there too, as this was about $10 less than most places around. I also love that they accept digital payments like Apple Cash, making it super convenient to pay after. I was looking for a decent priced nail salon before going on vacation. I found this place as a sponsored ad on Yelp and also went to their instagram page. I saw they offer a happy hour - $45 gel x set with one color and a $30 gel pedicure! Such a steal with how priced all other salons are. It was $10 extra for the ombré on the hands and $5 extra for the french tip on the toes. I was way more willing to pay the extra and tip more with the cost being where it was. The girl who did my pedicure was so precise and did one of the best jobs I've had in 10 years. The guy who did my nails did well, a little rough at times. It was super sloppy, my nails are uneven, he missed a few coats of polish and I asked for Polk-a-dots nails and some are already scratching off (it's been less than 24 hours). I need these nails to last me as I am going on vacation. However, I feel like they probably won't because he missed a few coats of things. Lastly, cherry on top was I got bitten by mosquitoes while waiting. The shop is decently priced but the quality and attention was not there. I knew at the moment he started it was going to be downhill. I am pretty upset with the outcome and the wasted time.
