I really wanted to love this place but it just fell short of my expectations given the great reviews below. I had made an appointment with Kim in advance but instead when I walked in, was given somebody else. Overall this place is great for pedicures- the orange pedicure was amazing. But if you're looking for nail art and precision for manicures, I'd say there are better options out there. Take a look at how my nails came out clumpy near the base and splotchy. Not to mention that I needed gel x for one of my nails and the guy angled the nail upwards so now it looks awkward compared to my other nails. I brought this up and he said it's because my nails are turned downwards? I'm not sure what he meant but I've gotten gel x plenty of times and never had any issues like this elsewhere. It's not the worst nail job I've had but it just missed the mark in terms of sloppiness for me. Don't think I'll be coming back unfortunately unless it's for a pedicure. read more

Stopped by here on Saturday afternoon and loved my experience ! K is AMAZING !!! The nail studio was surprisingly empty for a Saturday afternoon. I'm typically pretty indecisive but always like to see and try new options. K is so patient and I was lucky to have him help me out ! He was kind and willing to test different colors to help me decide what I wanted. He was even nice enough to paint a tester nail with a black base for the cat eye color so I could see if that combo was what I wanted. He made sure my nails were shaped exactly as I wanted before proceeding and worked with me to make sure the colors and designs matched what I was looking for! Prior to coming here, I had a horrible experience at a different salon after being told to come back in 2.5 hours and then waiting 40+ min past my appointment time due to the fact that they overbooked for the day... Made an online appointment with Kim, super easy and quick. Showed up on time but it was very busy and we did wait a little bit but they were very kind, updated us and did not ignore us. They took my husband and I for pedicures as soon as seats were available. Waited about 20min past our appointment time but we were in no hurry so it was totally fine. Just keep that in mind in the event that you are in a rush. We did the classic pedi and it was perfect and exactly what I needed! The tools were brand new from a sterilized pack and the wash bins had liners that got replaced with each use. The jet pack was cleaned afterwards as well. I always have some anxiety when it comes to salons and cleanliness since I usually do my own mani pedis at home but this place was great for when I want to treat myself. It was very clean and the staff were very efficient without making my service feel rushed. It was worth the price ($29 for a classic pedi). One of the ladies helping us did ask to upsell some callous removal so be careful when agreeing since extra items do cost extra. Overall we will definitely come back again! read more

I called they said I could in, but before I came in they were kind enough to send me a photo of their services. Which I really appreciated! Ken took care of my manicure. He ended up doing a gel manicure but with a thicker layer of some sort that hold the nail to be stronger and lasts longer. My nails look so fresh, clean and simple. Exactly what I was going for and exceeded my expectations. also- one of my nails chipped prior to service and he went back twice to make sure it was perfected. Attention to detail was superb! Super cute, clean and new nail salon in a strip mall with plenty of parking. I had a 1:30 pm appt and it was empty when I first arrived. Then people were coming in consistently after. Ken did my dipped mani and he was fast! He made sure not to take too much cuticle off and helped me choose my color. They have matching dip/gel/regular polishes so I was able to get the same color for both. Karen did my pedicure. I chose one of the fancy versions - Strawberry Milkshake which included soaking in milk powder, sea salt and fresh strawberry, Jojoba Sugar Scrub, Butter Cream Mask, Collagen Glove/Sock and 12 minutes massage. She brought all the ingredients out on a platter! It was very comprehensive and it felt great. Ken also does nail art (I didn't get any), but there were others that did or came in to get a nail fixed. Ken told me they recently opened and you can tell by how pristine everything is! (older lady with glasses) they had a stash of drinks but no one in the place was offered one. not a huge deal. Also, not sure why when the guy painted them he didn't paint my whole nail and left some of my natural nail show , so basically they looked grown out... I paid for me and another person for $185. 2 gel manicure and 2 gel pedis .. ** update. I said we paid $185 for both people. The $190 was a typo. But your response is a joke. How unprofessional. Glad to see others will see how you respond to customers. 37x2 plus 15 each for gel plus $44 x 2 plus $15 gel polish. That not including tip! Oh and by the way I paid cash Won't be back *** you're a joke!!! Did you not read the price was a typo! So ya, I edited it I don't need to lie about getting my nails done there! The lady that was doing my pedicure then took over and I had asked her if she could please take the cuticles off from my fingers and she did but the acrylic had already been placed so they did not look natural. The lady then told me that next time I should tell the person to do it before they put the acrylic on. The lady knew what she was doing but the guy did not. read more

Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing. This was my second visit, and once again the customer service was lacking. The staff did not come across as very friendly or welcoming. I came in for builder gel nails, and the nail tech immediately began filing and applying the builder gel without doing any cuticle or nail prep. I asked if he was going to clean up my cuticles and do the standard manicure steps beforehand, and he told me they don't do that with builder gel. That seemed strange to me, especially since basic nail prep is a big part of getting a manicure. He explained that those steps are only done with a regular gel manicure. (I later found out this isn't standard practice everywhere--my sister had builder gel done at another salon and they fully cleaned her cuticles and nail beds before applying the builder gel.) At that point, I asked to switch to a regular gel manicure instead, since proper nail prep is important to me. Midway through the service, the original tech switched off with another employee to finish my nails, which added to the awkward experience. Overall, the service felt unprofessional and left me dissatisfied. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I'm so glad I found this place! You know how some salons do an amazing job, but the service feels a little cold or mehhh and you leave not really feeling seen or appreciated? Or the opposite, where the people are kind but the actual work isn't great? Well, Bloom is truly the best of both worlds. The team here is so warm and welcoming--you really feel cared for. The service is amazing, and the energy is just kind and genuine. I believe Kim did my pedicure today (that's the name on my receipt), and she was super sweet and gentle. On top of that, they're super clean and professional. They use disposable files and toe separators (which they actually tossed after my session) and all the tools looked properly sanitized. You can tell they don't cut corners. They do things the right way. It honestly feels so good to support a business that puts so much care into both their service and their work. I'll definitely be coming back. 10/10 read more
