Doesn't hurt to try new places every once in a while or so, depending with you. I'm so glad I went out of my way to go try out a new place in Orange considering I live down in RSM. I love driving so I didn't mind! I was greeted by a lovely lady named Annie and she did an amazing job for the service I requested which was the "Original Pedi" and for the price, it's definitely unbeatable! Although I did upgrade to gel polish because it does last longer! She did amazing on my manicure job while also having a friendly conversation with me so it was lovely getting to know her. Also, another sweet lady named Lin was so sweet and definitely made my day with her sweet and funny personality. She did a fantastic job on my pedicure as well. The vibe was definitely relaxing and something I needed considering I'm recovering from a knee arthroscopy so a pedicure was DEFINITELY needed. I am totally coming back for their services for sures and highly recommend this place for those looking a little pick me up to enjoy this relaxing spa as one should. Thank you so much again! My mom came to visit and we decided to go get a mani/pedi. I told her I have been wanting to try this nail salon and so we showed up at 9:30 when they opened. We were immediately greeted with a smile and instantly felt welcome. They were able to accommodate us without an appointment. The ladies are so friendly and funny! They did an amazing job on both the manicures and pedicures. Lynn (Linh?) did both of my services and Traci and Annie did my mom's. The salon is clean and beautiful and the prices are so reasonable! After requesting acrylic nails I was given GelX nails which ended up having an overwhelming amount of glue that even covers the entire bottom of the nail tips used. I was told it would be fixed and it never was. I also requested a specific design and provided a picture reference but the nails I was given look nothing like the picture I showed and the gems put on my nail have fallen off, keep in mind I got my nails done no longer than 3/4 hours ago. When I first started going to Marvelous Nails Annie owned it and every person in there did exactly what you wanted and asked before they did anything to make sure. My acrylic nails lasted 3-4 weeks. Pedicures were amazing and not painful. A couple of months ago I was shocked because there was a new owner and I feel like they are trying to keep the atmosphere the same but there's almost all new employees. I've gone twice for acrylic nails. The first time they started to lift within a few days and when I tried to explain what I wanted she just shook her head and did her own thing. The second time I did acrylic nails and pedicure. I showed a picture of what I wanted as far as length and shape and I did not get that at all! The pedicure was okay but I have a cyst under my pinky toe and the other times before I never had any pain before and this time I had to tell the girl a couple times before she stopped. Please DO NOT go here! I came in here for the first time and got dip powder, within a week of coming here two of my nails very painfully broke. I went in to get them fixed and still had to pay for them to get fixed. The man still had the nerve to ask what I did in order for them to both break. It's been two weeks and another one broke in the same spot, which has been EXTREMELY painful. Also, I noticed that the man that fixed my nails had an expired license that expired on September 2023. When they did my nail I got an infection and now my nail is green. I recommend do not come here.

My technician was Nick. I came in and asked for something different I've never had before, ombre nails. This would be the second time I had gel x nails done and the first time the application was crooked at some other salon. I told Nick that from my last visit at a different salon they didn't clean up the cuticles well, I was nicked, the middle finger on the right was crooked, and I want to try a short almond shape nail with a nude ombre. I've never had ombre nails done before as i have always gotten 1 solid color with no designs (don't even know what crazy designs to ask for and how but im learning). Nick got to work and his nail prep left my nails and cuticles super clean and natural. He really took his time applying, shaping filing, drilling lightly to make the nail look as natural, seamless, and thin as possible. Nick took his time with painting and making sure the ombre looked perfect. He would still file even after painting to ensure a clean nail edge. Super beautiful set of nails. I really loved my experience here as they gave me a bottle of water to enjoy as well. Nick was also gentle and did not cut me once. The establishment was also clean and very relaxing and welcoming. So I came here for the French tips nails and toes. They were understaffed so I was being patient and disregarded the 25min wait for someone to start my service but they were still accepting walk-in's which is crazy bc u have many ppl already waiting. Anyways, my service came out to $120 and it definitely wasn't worth it. One lady started my feet and another lady finished it. the guy that did my nails wasn't scheduled to work, he was so mad he had to come to help them and he was rushing through the service and I showed him exactly what I wanted my nails to look like and I didn't get that, so I would not be returning and I don't recommend this place because they like to understaff but still accept people and have you waiting for a while before you get a service and cut corners where they can. If he didn't want to come into work, he shouldn't have came in instead of doing a lousy job on my nails. I didn't tip because he didn't say not one thing and when he did open his mouth it was to tell me "don't touch your hands bc if I do the nails won't stick" and I not once touched my nails and on top of him being rough with my hands. And the pedicure, was this: foot soaked in warm water, the first girl did callus "removal" cuticle removal and then apply the toenail and acrylic and that was a separate price from the French tip, which is crazy. I could've done that at home and came there and got the pedicure. Overall, this was a horrible experience and 120 wasted. highly don't recommend this place. read more

The woman burned my skin with the drill bit multiple times and was unreasonably aggressive with pushing and pulling my hands as she needed them. I didn't like the way the red I chose looked on my nails, it came out significantly lighter than what was on the sample. I let my technician know twice and she ignored me. Her response the second time was, "No, time for a clear coat". She also pushed back at me when I asked for my nails to be cut short. Another odd thing was that they offered the only other woman in there with me a glass of champagne but didn't offer me anything, not an issue but just made for a very awkward experience. read more
