Really satisfied with last two experiences at Nails Charm. This past week I got a gel pedicure with Tina. She was really kind and did a great job at my pedicure. Today I went back to get a gel X fill. Kay took her time with each detail of my nails and made sure they looked clean and perfected. The other ladies that work here are also super kind and offer you a drink and make sure you are comfortable. The salon is clean and a calming environment. They have a great discount right now, and their prices are reasonable. I do not mind paying a price when nail artists take their time and show they care. I hope to continue having great experiences at Nails Charm!
I recommend Hannah she takes her time and welcomes any comments. To me this is important because I am picky. I love how she did the French tip. Already got a lot of compliments since my manicure. I also recommend Kay for pedicure. She is gentle and did a good job. Overall I had a great experience.
I called in at 3:21pm to make an appointment. I walked in and told the nearest tech that I had an appointment at 4:30pm. Then a guy in charge walks over and tells me to wait second. He then looks over at the other nail techs and asks if there will be someone available soon, but they look over at him with a frustrated look and I assume they tell him no, that no one will be able to help me because he then looks over at me and tells me he is so sorry but they are really slammed with work and cannot take me. Back story: I am not from the area so when I called to make the appointment I was around the area and parked outside and waited. If they were super busy how come they didn't have the courtesy to call me and let me know. This was my first time at this location and will not be coming back here. I am not sure why they take name and phone number down if they don't even call the customer and let them know they are backed up. I, unfortunately have to leave a star rating, but this whole interaction before I even became a customer is really a zero star rating.
Update: If you're thinking of having the dip powder, I wouldn't recommend Jenny for that. She does too many dips, then your nail color is real chunky (*I had the feeling that she was not too experienced doing powder dip). Then I had problems with the nails falling off. One fell off a couple days after having them done, so I went back and they fixed it. Then a few more fell off. I called and asked to get another technician to fix my nails before the holiday parties, but they were busy, and their schedule didn't work with mine. The manager felt bad that I had gotten poor service, and confirmed that she had gotten other complaints - and was kind enough to offer to do my nails again at no cost, but I really needed to get my nails fixed, and was able to get an appointment at another shop. Don't get me wrong, they have other good techs at this shop. I would definitely go back for a pedi. And the first time I had another tech do my powder dip and it was done real well. It's a nice shop, not crazy busy like some shops. And everyone there is very nice. You just need to be aware of what each tech's expertise is. *I'm only decreasing my review by one star since the manager was kind enough to offer a do-over.
My new go-to place! This was my first time going and I was blown away by the attention to detail that Ms. Vivian had. I got a dip French manicure. She made sure that I was happy with the final product and took all of my comments into consideration. Something that stood out to me about her is how gentle she is. I've had many experiences (at other salons) where my cuticles bled and the tech was rough with me but this was not the case AT ALL with Ms. Vivian, as I was able to just relax. Additionally, 10% off for new customers and one complimentary beverage per visit! It truly does not get better than this..10/10 service & 10/10 work!!!

Update: I'd like to clarify since the owner's response makes it seem like the 20% I received was to accommodate the lack of quality or service. That could be further from the truth. This is a promotion the store is running for new customers as shown on Yelp. I would've made an appointment or come at a later time but the owner said to come in when I called. If the tech was new and the owner knew that, she should be more attentive of her work and checking it. I never told her I liked the work, I didn't say much as I was closing out except for pointing out the residue and I was not going to spend another 2 hours here. Unfortunately, this was probably one of my worst nail salon experiences. I was in the area and decided to call and ask if they can take me for a dip manicure and gel pedi- the owner said yes to come and they'll take me, within 30 mins I got there. I waited in the spa chair with no water for awhile before they came and after I was done no one still could do my hands. The tech removed my gel x and they kept telling me to do builder gel to fill because it's "faster" which I declined since I asked for dip. When they started on dip powder, they brought out a gel light and I asked if they used light then the owner had the tech remove the first coat and do it the right way. In the end my hands still went into the gel machine after they dipped 3 layers of clear coat then painted another 3 coats of polish. It was extremely time consuming and I was there for close to 2.5 hrs. My nails turned out sloppy with dip stuck on my sides and skin. The experience was not relaxing and there was barely any customer service, they cut the store music for the last hour I was there and barely spoke with me. I didn't come in 15 mins before closing but it sure felt like it. I still tipped over 20% for the mani/pedi. I showed the owner the residue and she tried to file it a bit and said it would just wash off..I wouldn't come back.
Wanting to try a new nail salon recently, I am very happy that I decided on Nails Charm! Miley did such a wonderful job on my dip manicure. She is very sweet, meticulous with her work, and was so patient with me while I was trying to decide how I wanted my nails to look! Susan also did a thorough pedicure! This salon is definitely my new place!
Let me start of by saying the place is soo beautiful I actually hadn't been here in years but the owner did an amazing job with this new remodel. The staff as well as the owner were amazing. I came in for a pedicure and gel x nails. I also brought in my husband for a pedicure and everything was just so amazing. This was actually for my civil ceremony so it was important that my nails came out perfect and Nails charm achieved that.

DO NOT COME HERE I am extremely disappointed by my experience at Nails Charm in Orange. During my most recent visit, I turned on Google Translate and heard a staff member making derogatory comments about my appearance in their language. Specifically, they said that "all this skin could be be made as pork grinds." Hearing this as a customer was shocking, offensive, and deeply inappropriate. No customer should ever be spoken about this way, regardless of language. It created a very uncomfortable and disrespectful environment. In addition to this, this is not the first issue I have had here. On a prior visit, I was almost overcharged and only after asking to see the receipt did the staff suddenly realize the total was incorrect and said it had been a mistake. During this same recent visit, when I tried to pay using Zelle or Venmo, I used the exact phone number that was posted on their payment sign. I was told the number was wrong and that the payment had not been received. Only after I showed my confirmation screen and pointed out that I used their posted number did the staff say it was fine. Taken together, the derogatory comments, attempted overcharging, and confusing payment handling show a pattern of unprofessional and concerning behavior. This experience crossed several lines, and I will not be returning. This raises concerns how many other customers may have been overcharged in these cases. This is clearly a pattern of behavior, not a one-time mistake, and I will be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau. read more

I came back for another appointment (this time during the week) and was disappointed by the outcome. My nail beds are on the wider side and the tech used some that were too narrow. The previous two times I had nails done by two other different techs that wasn't an issue because they used nails that fit well. When I noticed the gap I mentioned it to her politely and showed her one example that had very visible gaps. She had cured it already but she said she would file it and I asked if filing would fix it. I wasn't sure how filing the nail would fix it but I wanted to trust the process. Unfortunately more than one nail has gaps on the sides and a few of the are visibly crooked. I don't expect perfection but not being willing to fix one nail when there were multiple that had issues didn't seem appropriate to me. She also cut me a bit on one nail and I know that can sometimes happen so I didn't tell her anything in the moment. She didn't acknowledge it verbally but she added some product to stop the bleeding. I'm modifying the review but there are some techs that may be more mindful so it could depend on who you get. I have noticed that some people are usuals and have been going there so they may have an established connection with other techs who do a good job. read more

I keep coming back because they are the best!! Service is amazing. They're quick and prompt. I will the drive from Moreno Valley just to visit Nails Charm every time (3-4 weeks). I get my GelX every time with Miley. Can't emphasize enough how great she is. I've gone 5 weeks without a fill and I had no lifting. She's the best at what she does and their products are that good too. My pedis are also a must here. So relaxing and thorough. They have so many colors too chose from and designs they can achieve. Kayla and Mary really took care of me and 3.5 weeks later my nails still look great and flawless and I'm so happy. I got a deluxe pedicure with gel color and a dip powder set with oval shape. $97 for all of that! In this economy, you cannot beat that price and quality. I came in after repeatedly receiving the worst nail jobs in history from a different place. I kept going back thinking maybe she was having a bad day, maybe I didn't explain what I wanted well enough (even though I always show a pic), maybe it'll be better next time, maybe I'm being Punk'ed!!! That's on me lol I have been back to Nails Charm and have had 3 different artists take care of my fingers and Katie has done my toes twice, and I can't recall a time I have ever been happier with my nails. I waited to review because I truly couldn't believe it. I'm used to leaving my old salon and having to come back in two days because one nail popped off or just breaks in half for no apparent reason. I also left bleeding EVERY.SINGLE.TIME! What's wrong with me??? Anyway, I have yet to bleed here and no ingrown nails! I didn't take pics of the other 2 times but my v day nails are adorable. I told Lynn I wanted blush pink paint and gold hearts. She tried it, showed me, and we both agreed it wasn't great. So we decided on an orangey red heart. Love! Anyway long story long, you will not be disappointed. If you are, just talk to the owner Kayla, she wants you to be happy, she will make it right if you can give them a second chance. Came in for a walk in and they got me in so quickly! My nail tech name was Kim and she was really good at explaining everything since it was my first time getting dip powder. I asked for a light natural pink shade and she did such a great job and I'm obsessed with how pretty my nails turned out! Me and my mom love this place. They're always very welcoming, offer us waters right when we check in for an appointment or even a walk in! All of the staff is very welcoming! They're very quick and super efficient, but Mindy at Nails Charm is the best!!! She's always so kind to us and gentle whenever she removes/ reapplies the gel nails. Her energy is sweet, and she always does the prettiest flowers on my moms nails! 10/10 would recommend this place to all my friends and family read more

I really wanted to like this place because I saw bomb reviews. Customer service is good but quality products are trash. I got them done last week as the picture shows and literally only 5 days after almost all my nails are lifting?? I don't use my nails as tools nor shower in hot water so I just don't get it. Kayla was literally rushing because she saw clients coming in. Not sure if she didn't prep currently because she was in a rush and thats why my nails are falling off or it's because her stuff isn't all that good. I'm literally being extra gentle because I want these to at least 2 weeks wtf. Save your money read more
