I had a lovely first visit at Lemon and Honey Day Spa. I booked a Lemon Lift Microcurrent Facial because my skin needed a little refresh with this dry weather. This facial also stimulates collagen production and tones your face. It was a perfect pre-birthday treat for myself. Booking was easy on the website and all their services have a good description to determine what best fits your needs. I had to reschedule my initial appointment, and for that you need to call in. They send you a text reminder, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee. One special thing to note is if you book a service that's at least an hour, you receive a complimentary foot soak as long if you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This was a nice touch. When I arrived, Cristina, from the front desk walked me to their quiet room, which has the ultimate relaxation vibes. She was amazing! She had my foot soak ready to go, along with a heated neck wrap and a blanket. On top of that, she made me a delicious vanilla chamomile tea, accompanied by a chocolate. A literal pampering angel. My facial was done by Chasity. She was also so nice and she gave me plenty of time to change and get comfortable in the spa bed. She listened to my skin concerns and tailored the products for my face. Throughout my appointment, she explained each step of the facial. At one point I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. I've been here a few times over the years, most recently I had a facial with Justine. The staff is always kind. You would not realize it from the outside but inside is a peaceful sanctuary. Make sure to arrive early for the peaceful, calm waiting area. I believe they will always give you a foot soak when you book. Whenever I've been, I've come early and it's empty - like an added bonus to relax before my services. They have many modalities to pick from for facials and massage. Sara was amazing! I got a full leg and Brazilian -- sugaring. It was the first time getting sugared and she walked me through everything and felt very confident trying a new technique. I came here for a 60+ minute massage. I felt like the service was rushed and it was hard for me to relax. I did come as one of the last clients before closing so maybe that's why it went too quick? The massage therapist also did not knock before she came in and I was not done undressing but she still stayed in and did not give me my privacy to get under the covers so that was a little off putting and set off my service to a rocky start. Honestly I'm a little taken back by this place. The first time I went it was a lovely experience.. the atmosphere, the quality of facial.. I ended up going back with a friend from out of town (after telling her all about how great it was - we both got facials) and when we went to pay at the end, they had me pay the total for 1 facial and then gave her 50% off her facial. Honestly that wasn't cool. I feel like the person that brought in another customer / referral should be the one with the discount? So now any time I get emails or drive by, I don't really want to book another appointment because I keep remembering that encounter. A little salty. I love this spa! I've been seeing Paige for waxes for the past 2 years, and more recently seen Raymond for massages. Paige is so fantastic- she is so easy to talk to, always makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She does such a great job, the waxes never hurt. Raymond is sooo skilled at deep tissue massage. I needed some Princess time and I found the perfect spa experience with Lemon and Honey Day Spa. This was by far the most relaxing treatment possible while maintaining proper safety procedures. Their motto is "Ancient skincare wisdom. Modern Day luxury." And I 100% agree with that concept. I was able to get a same day appointment in for a facial and I welcomed suggestions for upgrades and enhancements. Covid Safety - Staff wears KN95s with an additional mask over. Plexi glass in front. Spaced out reservation check-in and check-out times to prevent multiple customers being in the lobby together. Text the business when you arrive and they will let you know when they are ready to take you in. Temperature taken at the door. Disposably spa slippers are provided to prevent keeping the spa clean. No foot soaks and spa robes. Limited for pandemic safety. Also I noticed air filters in the treatment rooms. Contactless check out. After my temperature check and changing into the disposable spa slippers, the front desk staff asked if I needed to use the restroom before my service. Very thoughtful. I was welcomed into the Retreat and offered water. They have comfy sofas and chairs here where there is usually teas and foot soaks and other amenities that are currently on pause for pandemic safety reasons. I was blessed to have Cindy as my professional and sweet esthetician. She welcomed me back to the coziest treatment room. I love the elegant dim lit peaceful ambiance. The treatment table was like a fluffy cloud with table warmers for extra comfort. Cindy spoke to me about my areas of concerns as she professionally analyzed my skin under her microscope. I mentioned dryness and some blemishes in the face mask area and my preferences for anti aging treatments. I was open to adding any enhancements she recommended and I ended up with the most amazingggggg Revive Facial $165 value. *20% discount for first time visits* Additional Enhancements $25/each. For my skin needs, Cindy used natural products from the Eminence line, a very reputable brand. We started after with cleansing, steaming and an exfoliant to remove the dead skin cells. Cindy's hands are magical and she has great technique with every movement. While my face was absorbing the steam and my pores were opening up, she was giving me an amazing neck, shoulder and arm massage. Then the mighty extractions. Beauty is pain! Cindy's soft touch made it as painless as possible but still very thorough on her search to remove and cleanse my face. Afterwards she applied a mask and I enjoyed more amazing massage time. Definitely the Princess treatment I had in mind. After cleansing the mask off my skin I might be blurry on the specific order, but there was a hot stone face and neck massage, Hungarian lymphatic face massage, LED Light Therapy and cold Guasha face treatment. There was of course all of you usually moisturizing and layers of serums that I could keep on for the remainder of the day. Recommended to sleep with it to fully enjoy the benefits those high quality facial products. After the treatment Cindy got me some water and suggested that I drank more water for the rest of the day and the following day to flush out my system to get the best effects afterwards. I felt so clean and fresh and absolutely relaxed. Check out was contact free. The card I gave on file making the reservation was used and I received a text with a link where I can fill out the tip and sign from my phone.
