This is my second review for this Location. I had came here some time back and had a great experience so decided to come back, and this time, with a friend. I will not be coming back here frm now on though. When evaluating my face, I was advised by there representative that my skin was pretty good.. WRONG!!! My face has sun damage n is overly dry... So not sure what she was talking about. Next the facial it self was pretty blah compared to last time. Just didn't feel that clean or calmness. My main disappointment... I would definitely recommend her, but sadly, she doesn't work here anymore. 2) Thu-trang: She didn't trim my hair and it was so painful, but she did do a fast job. 3) Michelle: It took her 1 hour to do it for me. I appreciate that she was very considerate of my pain tolerance, but because she did it slowly and often reminded me that she doesn't wax often, it made everything more painful and suspenseful for me. I've had it with acne! Trying out a bunch of "acne-clearing" products didn't give me the results I wanted and I was recommended to try going to a facial place for better results, so that is what I did. Thu Trang is the best! I always feel very welcomed coming here and she is very sweet. I remember my first time visiting for a consultation, I was very nervous as I had never had a facial done before. Sitting in the waiting area, I looked through the binder of her certifications and completions and was very impressed. I knew I was going to be in good hands, I wasn't wrong! During the consultation, I addressed my concerns and she suggested I get the 20% salicylic acid treatment. Her receptionist booked me for the earliest spot they had and I was definitely on board to getting better skin. During my first actual facial, the treatment was inflaming my face (but this is normal) and Thu Trang made sure I was as comfortable as I can be (calming music in the background, fanning my burning af face) and I really appreciated that. She made me aware of all the things I should do AFTER the treatment to ensure my skin will be in its best shape. When finishing the facial, the receptionist paid me out and booked me for my next appointment. I noticed a lot of the bigger acne problems were calming down after a few days. During my second facial 3 weeks later, same thing here! After my second 20% salicylic acid facial, within the next week I noticed the acne on my forehead was starting to REALLY clear up! I was baffled! BAFFLED! The larger problem areas were shrinking! I had acne that used to cover up my entire cheek (left and right) and now it's just a few on the very apples of the cheeks that are very small! I just can't believe that I had waited this long to fix my acne. I continue using the same regime daytime and night time whilst also coming here every 2-3 weeks for a facial to ensure my acne is kept at bay. I cannot recommend this place enough! I must say though, beauty comes with a price but I got the results I was looking for. I had a wax appointment with Thu Trang and she's by far one of the best estheticians I've ever had. She's super friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout my whole session. The experience was quick and almost painless. I really appreciated that she took time after the wax to remove strays with a tweezer. The lobby and treatment rooms are charming, yet sanitary. They're so thoughtful to provide snacks, like chocolate covered pretzels and pork rinds the day I was there. The staff is also very responsive via text. I did notice while I was waiting for my appointment that the walls are thin and I could clearly hear the conversation in the adjacent treatment room. I started coming here a few months ago. The place was cute, clean, relaxing and the staff was friendly. The wait for your appointment was a little long but it didn't bother me. I was only able to get treatment done here twice before I experienced such unprofessional behavior that I decided not to return. I was unable to keep my third appointment due to Le Petit. They had not only requested to reschedule my original appointment back in October but they gave my rescheduled appointment slot to someone else because I was unable to immediately confirm reply to their confirmation text. Due to the fact that during the time the text was sent to me I was at work and I work with kids, so I was unable to text back right away. Now because of this I was sent the following text; "I understand your challenges however my staff and I have spent more time trying to get you in versus actually working on your skin - which is what I do and I enjoy working on you too! If I book you a future appt, I will ask for a deposit to secure it. Would you be ok with that?" Now this would be true if I was the one who requested to reschedule all my appointment but I had every intention in keeping my appointments but again was unable to because of le petit. So how exactly did they "spend more time trying to get me in versus actually working on my skin if they were the ones who requested to reschedule my original appointment and then gave my rescheduled appointment away???? Needless to say I responded with, no I do not agree with that because none of this was my fault and was unfair that I was being punished when I had done nothing wrong. I have no problem paying deposits, and if this was standard to seeing them from the get-go, I would've but not when they are basically doing this due to them giving my appointment away. I feel the way I was handled as a reliable customer was very poorly and rudely, definitely not a place I'll be recommending to anyone. I wouldn't want anyone to experience this type of bad customer service. Response (since I don't know how to respond to messages); Thu-Trang Tran a good faith gesture?? I've been to dozens of places to attempt to get rid of my acne, and only one other place has even come close to this. She goes through extra steps with you to make sure your problems are taken care of. My acne has died down and stayed away for the first time ever! Did signature facial and it ruined my skin, left blotchy dark and red spots that have not gone away after 1 week - according to technician the aftermath is caused by my aging late 20s skin, not sure where's the science behind that conclusion. NOT COMING BACK In response to the comment below - I clearly remember telling the technician who did my facial that I will have an out of state meeting that week, thus needs my skin to be cleaned - she did not decide to cancel the facial. Also clearly remembered after the facial was completed that the technician mentioned that the redness will go away within 24 hrs so I shouldn't be surprised. So when the redness stayed, after more than 24 hrs and then even 3 days later and even until today (6 days later), off course I was devastated and worried. True that I was given a free LED treatment during closed hour and once the procedure was done, right away on the front counter the technician said that the LED cost is usually $40 - ok, gotcha that it will cost me the next time I need to LED my skin. So in conclusion, there's really no sense of accountability - the primary technician at some point still even recommended for me to go back and get a follow up appointment with the technician that caused these redness on my face. read more

I came in on a Friday afternoon for a brow wax appointment with Thu-Trang and left with two eyebrows that actually make sense! As a first-time client I knew ahead of time that it was best to show up a few minutes early to fill out a couple pages of paperwork which was all handled by the receptionist, Toni. After Thu-Trang came out and introduced herself, I was led into the super clean, super calm and super relaxing room where all the facials and waxes were done. After listening to my concerns about growing out my brows and learning how I normally groom and fill them in, we both decided that going for a natural look that bordered dramatic would work best for this visit - it's best to take too little off than too much! During the waxing process we made small talk and I learned that I actually am supposed to have more brow hairs than what I currently have. The 90's were a rough time and I'm guilty of over-plucking :( In the end, she and I got to know my brows and she educated me on what my brows can look like if I let give them time and let them grow out. I'm going to let them grow out a bit more before making another appointment to see her--she's really the greatest and you can tell she just loves her job. Oh, and Toni is simply wonderful! She'll either text or give you a call back if you have any questions ASAP. Great service all around. I have personally had the Signature facial, the Fruit Enzyme peel, as well as the Diamondhead facial on multiple occasions. Definitely worth the drive! It was my first facial, EVER, and I am super glad that Thu was the one who handled my skin care. She's very welcoming, professional, and personable. She really does care about meeting your skin care needs, as she tries to assess what desired outcome you would like coupled with her expert opinion. I purchased the yelp deal which covered my facial treatment and also had a blueberry peel done. My main concern were my blackheads on my nose. The extractions were uncomfortable (I can't imagine that they wouldn't be) but she did them quickly and kept talking me through it which was nice.
