I'm actually so upset. DO NOT COME HERE. I was a walk in and just came in to clean up my eyebrows. There was only one lady working and not only did she completely destroy my eyebrows I've taken years to grow out by making them very thin, she also made them completely uneven! I thought I would get over it being more thin than I'm used to but I can't even look at them without getting upset. Also, there are parts of my eyelid that are very irritated and even cut/ sensitive when I washed my face (see red circle). I've never had such a horrible experience. Eyebrows are so important and I'd expect people who thread to know that. I don't know what I was thinking by not reading reviews beforehand. Thinning them out is one thing, but to completely not even make them even and presentable is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. read more

Been coming here consistently for about 10 years and I can only say that it's truly kept me a customer for so many reasons. Not only are they kind here but they listen when you tell them exactly what you want. I naturally have thinner eyebrows so I make sure to always request to "keep them thicker but just clean around". I have noticed with times that I forget that the threading becomes a little heavy handed and they do end up thinner than I wanted but I blame myself for that. I know my brows and I know what I should be asking for when I come in so that helps the tech understand. The aloe gel afterward is honestly the perfect touch. I'm so happy it survived COVID because I honestly don't know where I'd be going for my brow clean ups. Excellent service & pricing. read more

Honestly this is always my go to place, I live super close by. I always get attended by the same woman, takes her time and my brows come out amazing every time. Yesterday I had a woman by the name of Gita, she was absolutely amazing. Not only did she take her time, gave a great eyebrow massage after, but she had excellent customer service. I came here because I didn't want to make the drive to my regular eyebrow threading location in Garden Grove. I absolutely regret it. The vibes were already not great when I was the only one in the entire place with just one female threader. There was no cover on the headrest or any wiping down of the area beforehand. When I say that one eye brow was left so much thinner than the other, I am not exaggerating. And not just that, they are completely uneven. I am unable to fix them without going 90s thin. I get my eyebrows done so I don't have to worry about them when getting ready on a day-to-day basis. But now I had to go and purchase eyebrow products and will have to take the extra time in the morning to try and look like a normal person. I also got lip threading and was shocked by how rough the threader was being. I felt my skin getting very hot from how harsh she was pressing down. The thread even broke a couple of times from how rough she was being. Save your time and money and go to your regular eyebrow threading location. read more

Quick walk-in service, affordable prices ($8 for eyebrows, $5 for upper lip), reliable (she remembers how I like them shaped and they have always looked good!). My old go-to eyebrows spot was by my old office so I had to find a new spot to take care of my eyebrows. It's really hard to find a reliable spot but I went onto Yelp to search for one in my new radius. I found Roop Threading Salon relatively nearby and the prices looked reasonable so I decided to call in and make an appointment during my lunch time. However they do not take appointments. That was a bit discouraging but I still gave them a chance. I came in and asked for Deepa, since she had raving reviews. The place was empty when I came in so there was no wait. Deepa did a good job. She cleaned up my eyebrows and also pointed out that one side was growing out slighting thicker than the other so she evened them out. Good eye! The one thing about this eyebrow threading place compared to others is that they did not give that mini massage with the aloe vera to sooth the threading area and rub your temples. She just handed me a cotton ball with hazel-wart to close my pores. $8 for eyebrow threading and $2 for tip, so it was an easy $10. They also have a stamp card. 9 stamps and your 10th eyebrow threading free. read more

If you come later in the evening they do become a little busy. The cost is pretty reasonable. There is usually one girl working, so call ahead if you need faster service. I came here on Friday last minute for eyebrow/mustache clean up. I've been here a few times and never had any issue although I typically go to perfect brows but I was nearby Friday. I got my eyebrows threaded and my upper lip waxed and she burned me. I don't remember her name but it felt so painful after and next day it started scabbing. She has the HEAVIEST hands, it's actually painful. Last time I actually had to walk out because I was waited over 40 minutes. I came back to give it another shot and ended up waiting 32 minutes. I stayed because I had a free stamp card. The smell of the store is also extremely strong and it isn't a pleasant smell. I won't be coming back anymore. read more

My eye brows looks great and she even made sure I wanted my eye brows shorter before she cut more off the top. It was my first time at this location since I was at Marshalls across the way. I moved out to this area and havent found anyone who can do my eyebrows great until i randomly found this place. She did such a great job on my eyebrows. Went last Saturday. There was very strong incense that smelled terrible. My clothes smelled so bad when I left. I had to take them to dry cleaners to get the horrible smell out. Also TV blasting with music. I was only person in there. Brows turned out very thin which I do not care for. read more

I have been getting my face threaded for years. It is always a little painful but very bearable, I tried roop for the first time tonight because of the reviews and it is close to my house. I will never come back, the lady that threaded my face hurt me so bad I almost left with half a face done. I had tears rolling down my eyes and she kept going without stopping. I finally sat up and the tears came out and she just gave me a tissue and kept going. I have never had this painful of an experience, I will not be returning. She also cut the skin above one eyebrow three times. Can't wait for the scab for that tomorrow. read more

I LOVE ROOP THREADING. this place is relatively new. i've been coming to get my brows threaded here almost since their day 1. i remember being skeptical because there was only a handful of reviews and it was so new and cheap! i used to go to perfect brows on chapman ave but once they thinned my eyebrows way too thin, i decided i needed to push myself to try somewhere else i could trust. i am SO GLAD i can to roop threading. these are the only people i trust to touch my brows, and the price is super affordable. very great location for cheap perfect brows. if they are skeptical of a certain area on your brow, they will not touch it as oppose to other places that will risk customer satisfaction and ultimately mess up. if i could give this place 6 stars, i would!! read more

I have been here three times now. I appreciate that the wait is never long and the pricing is quite reasonable. I also like that they have a frequent buyers card so that you can earn free threading through your repeated visits. I tend to allow the person doing the threading to shape and thin my brows as they see necessary. I'd probably over-tweeze if I had my way. I know thick brows are so in right now, too. The thing is, I just don't think I look all that great with thick brows. On my third visit, the woman assisting me was telling me where she is letting my brows grow in and I expressed to her that I just don't like thick brows on myself. She immediately offered to thin them out a bit. Great! Yes, please! I'm so used to the person doing my brows telling me why I need to leave my brows thicker. I was relieved that she was willing to offer suggestions but ask my preferences as well. I'll keep going back. I should have taken her name so that I would know who to ask for during my next visits, but I forgot. I highly recommend. read more
